This research aims to: (1) knowing the level of need for guided inquiry-based Learner Worksheets (LKPD) at Imelda Medan Private High School. (2) to know the design of LKPD based on guided inquiry on redox material. (3) knowing the feasibility of LKPD according to BSNP standards. (4) knowing the improvement of students' higher-level thinking skills and. (5) knowing the students' response to the guided inquiry-based LKPD on redox reaction material that has been developed. This development was carried out using the R&D method with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The instruments used are interview guidelines, LKPD validation sheets by validators, questionnaire sheets for students' responses to the developed LKPD. The results of this study indicate that the LKPD prepared has met the eligibility criteria according to BSNP standards validated by material experts and media experts who are UNIMED chemistry lecturers by obtaining a percentage value of 88.46% with the criteria "very feasible needs revision". The average value of students' higher order thinking skills after being taught using the developed LKPD was 83.48 with an n-gain value of 0.79 and the results of students' responses were 85.14% with "very good" criteria. So that overall the guided inquiry-based Learner Worksheet to improve students' higher-level thinking skills is feasible to use in the learning process, especially in redox reaction material.

The Micro Teaching course aims to provide prospective teaching students with several basic teaching skills. The absence of micro laboratories and the difficulty of students in presenting basic teaching skills necessary for teachers or prospective teachers require learning media. Video media for basic teaching skills can overcome space and time limitations and be used repeatedly. This research aims to determine the feasibility of the basic teaching skills video media being developed and to find out students' responses or interest in the basic teaching skills video media being developed. The type of this research is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of the research show that the average validation scores for basic teaching skills video media design from material experts and media experts are 91% and 91.25%, so the basic teaching skills video media is declared very valid. Responses from 13 students also showed that the video media developed was very interesting with an average score of 85.81% in the very good category. Thus, video media for basic teaching skills is perfect for use in micro-learning lectures.

This research aims to determine the results of expert validation and student responses to problem based learning based modules on buffer solution material. The research was carried out at the Cinta Kasih Catholic High School, Tebing Tinggi City using a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling of 35 people. This type of research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research and development method with a 4D development model and research is carried out only up to the development stage. The research instruments that will be used in this research are validation sheets and questionnaires. The design of the module to measure students' level of scientific literacy and HOTS on buffer solution material is suitable for use with the results of expert validation of the module producing an average percentage value for content suitability of 90% with very high criteria. Meanwhile, student responses to the module were generated from the student response questionnaire sheet with the average percentage of student responses to the module obtained being 88%, including very high criteria, 27 students and 20% of students including high criteria (8 students). Based on student responses, it can be concluded that creating a module that aims to measure students' scientific literacy and HOTS regarding buffer solution material could be something more interesting, useful and interesting to use.

The use of teaching materials in schools is one of the supports in the learning process. Modules are teaching materials that students can use in learning. This research aims to 1) Determine the level of validity of the module being developed; 2) Knowing the increase in students' critical thinking abilities taught with the modules developed; 3) Knowing students' responses to the modules being developed. The research method is R&D with the 4D development model. Data collection techniques through BSNP questionnaires, student response questionnaires and N-Gain tests to improve critical thinking. The population was Holy Kids Bersinar Medan High School. Based on material and media expert validators, it shows that 84.7% of material experts, 83.75% of media experts, the modules developed have a validity level of "Very valid". The module was also successful in improving students' thinking abilities through pretest and posttest scores that were carried out and the n-gain was searched for and obtained a score of 0.83% in the "High" category. Student responses to the development of this module received score of 93.05 in the "Very Good" category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of POE-based chemistry modules has been successful in improving students' critical thinking abilities.

This study was conducted to determine whether the STEM learning model has a significant effect on students' scientific literacy and numeracy skills at the rate of material speed. The target population was grade XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Medan (consisting of 9 classes), and two classes were selected as samples through purposive sampling techniques. The type of research used was quasi-experimental (pseudo-research), with a Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data collection instrument was a multiple-choice test (20 questions) designed to measure scientific literacy and numeracy, and has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis employed a one-tailed t-test (right-tailed) with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the statistical analysis showed that the t-count value (7.367) was greater than the t-table value (1.688), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). In conclusion, the STEM learning model has a significant impact on enhancing students' scientific literacy and numeracy skills in the context of reaction rates.

This study aims to develop a Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI)-based chemistry learning e-module on reaction rates to improve students' critical thinking skills. This research is based on students' low critical thinking skills due to the lack of interactive and contextual teaching materials. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Kuis using the ADDIE development model. The developed e-module includes various learning components designed based on SSI syntax and packaged interactively through the Flip Corporate Edition platform. Validation results from material and media experts indicate that the e-module is categorized as feasible, with an average score of 3.49 (very valid) for lecturers and 3.67 (very valid) for teachers. The media feasibility test was categorized as feasible with an average score of 3.95 (very valid). Meanwhile, the percentage of student responses in using the e-module was 95.75%. These results indicate that the developed e-module can be used as an alternative teaching material to support chemistry learning and improve students' critical thinking skills.

The use of STEM-based LKPD can improve students' critical thinking skills. In this study, non-test instruments such as validation questionnaires and test instruments with 5 aspects of critical thinking were used. This study aims to 1) measure the validity of the developed LKPD; 2) determine students' responses to the developed LKPD; 3) determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills; 4) determine whether students' critical thinking skills on the use of STEM-based LKPD developed better than without using STEM-based LKPD. Data collection techniques through BSNP questionnaire, student response questionnaire and N-Gain test for critical thinking improvement and right-sided t test. The samples were 70 students of class XI F1B and XI F2D who were randomly selected. Based on the material and media expert validators, it shows that 94.34% of the material experts and 87.5% of the developed LKPD media experts have a very high interpretation and the level of validity is "Very valid". While 87.27% of student responses were rated "Very good" for use in learning the topic of reaction rates. The N-Gain test results showed the gain of the experimental class taught using STEM-based LKPD was 0.81 while the control class gain without STEM-based LKPD was 0.71. The t-test showed tcount=3.276> table=1.667. Thus it can be concluded that the use of STEM-based LKPD is very good in lectures on the topic of reaction rate.

Acid-base concepts are often abstract and difficult for students to understand, limiting the development of their critical thinking skills. At SMAS An-Nizam Medan, current learning models have not been fully effective in promoting student engagement or enhancing these skills. This study aims to develop a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) e-module to improve students’ critical thinking and to evaluate its validity and practicality. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) method based on the Borg and Gall model, limited to the seventh stage. The participants consisted of two chemistry lecturers (as media and material experts), one chemistry teacher, and students from Class XI Al-Khawarizmi at SMAS An-Nizam Medan. Data were collected using a questionnaire adapted from BSNP standards. The results showed that the PBL-based e-module was valid, with an average score of 85.75% from material experts, 95.48% from media experts, and 100% from the teacher classified as highly valid. Student responses showed a practicality score of 87.97%, indicating that the module is very practical. In conclusion, the developed PBL-based e-module is valid and practical, making it suitable for use in teaching acid-base chemistry material to support the development of students’ critical thinking skills.

This research aims to develop and obtain Web-based learning media that meets the eligibility requirements according to BSNP criteria, determine the increase in student competency by using the developed Web-based media and determine the percentage of student responses to Web-based media used in lectures on the topic of instrument analysis. This research method is a research and development method using the ADDIE model. Web-based media was validated by media experts and material experts, then the valid media was presented to 26 Chemistry Education students at Medan State University to see the influence of the Webb media developed and get responses on the web-based media used. The research results show that the Web-based learning media developed meets the BSNP eligibility criteria with an average percentage of 91.25%. The use of Web-based media can increase student competency in lectures on the topic of Instrument Analysis, namely 75% for experimental classes that use Web media and 56% for classes without Web media. Learning outcomes using Webb media are better than without using Webb media and student responses to the use of Webb-based media in lectures Topic evaluation Instrument analysis is very high. Thus, over all the Web-based media developed is good for use in lectures on the topic of Instrument Analysis, to provide students with learning experiences in using the Web.
