Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan e-modul berbasis mind mapping dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mendukung pembelajaran materi termokimia di SMA Negeri 5 Medan, (2) menilai kelayakan e-modul yang dikembangkan menurut standar BSNP, (3) mengetahui respons siswa/i kelas XI MIPA terhadap e-modul, dan (4) mengukur hasil belajar siswa/i setelah menggunakan e-modul tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa siswa/i mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi termokimia hanya dengan buku teks. E-modul telah divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, mencapai kriteria sangat layak dengan skor 3,3 dari nilai maksimal 4. Respons siswa/i terhadap e-modul sangat memuaskan (88,11%). Penggunaan e-modul meningkatkan rata-rata nilai posttest siswa/i menjadi 85, melampaui nilai KKM (78). Analisis statistik menunjukkan efektivitas signifikan (Sig = 0,01), di mana 0,01 < ???? (0,05). Dengan demikian, Ha diterima, yang berarti hasil belajar siswa menggunakan e-modul berbasis mind mapping dengan pendekatan case study pada materi termokimia lebih besar dari 78. ABSTRACT This research aims to (1) analyze the need for developing e-modules based on mind mapping with a case study approach to support learning thermochemical material at SMA Negeri 5 Medan, (2) assess the feasibility of e-modules developed according to BSNP standards, (3) know responses class XI MIPA students towards the e-module, and (4) measure student learning outcomes after using the e-module. The research method uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Analysis shows that students have difficulty understanding thermochemical material using only textbooks. The e-module has been validated by media experts and material experts, achieving very feasible criteria. Student responses to the e-module were very satisfactory (88.11%). The use of e-modules increased the students' average posttest score to 85, surpassing the KKM score (78). Statistical analysis shows significant effectiveness (Significance = 0.01) in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Micro Teaching course aims to provide prospective teaching students with several basic teaching skills. The absence of micro laboratories and the difficulty of students in presenting basic teaching skills necessary for teachers or prospective teachers require learning media. Video media for basic teaching skills can overcome space and time limitations and be used repeatedly.  This research aims to determine the feasibility of the basic teaching skills video media being developed and to find out students' responses or interest in the basic teaching skills video media being developed. The type of this research is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of the research show that the average validation scores for basic teaching skills video media design from material experts and media experts are 91% and 91.25%, so the basic teaching skills video media is declared very valid. Responses from 13 students also showed that the video media developed was very interesting with an average score of 85.81% in the very good category. Thus, video media for basic teaching skills is perfect for use in micro-learning lectures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui analisis kebutuhan, tingkat validitas, respon siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa terhadap e-modul kimia berbantuan Exe-learning berbasis Pendekatan Discovery Learning pada materi kesetimbangan kimia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah RD dengan model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 14 Medan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kimia SMA sebanyak 2 orang, dosen kimia sebanyak 3 orang, dan siswa dalam satu kelas berjumlah 36 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil secara purposive sampling sebanyak satu kelas yakni kelas XI MIPA 4. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan kurangnya penggunaan bahan ajar yang dapat membantu siswa serta rendahnya tingkat berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran kimia. Berdasarkan validitas menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid oleh validator dengan kriteria “Layak” dengan rata-rata validasi sebesar 90%, kemudian hasil pengolahan angket respon siswa mendapatkan presentase sebesar 86,88% dengan kriteria “Sangat Menarik”. Selanjutnya, data hasil belajar siswa dianalisis dengan One Sample T-Test pada program SPSS 29.0 for Windows dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan diperoleh nilai Sig 0,05 yaitu 0,002. Hasil data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan e-modul kimia berbantuan Exe-Learning berbasis pendekatan Discovery Learning pada materi kesetimbangan kimia lebih besar dari 78.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Modul berbasis Learning Cycle 7E pada materi laju reaksi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 11 Medan. Penelitian dilakukan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dengan melibatkan siswa kelas XI sebagai subjek penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 35 siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan E-Modul yang telah dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-Modul yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dengan rata-rata penilaian dari validator ahli mencapai 90%, yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 36,17 dan posttest sebesar 78,97, serta N-Gain sebesar 0,66 yang menunjukkan kategori sedang. Seta respon siswa dengan tingkat kepuasan mencapai 86,82%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah E-Modul berbasis Learning Cycle 7E dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa terhadap materi laju reaksi.

Abstract

An essential skill for learning chemistry is science literacy, which includes attitudes toward science, the scientific method, application in practical settings, and conceptual comprehension. However, the previous research revealed that students’ science literacy among Indonesian undergraduate students is still low, especially when it comes to abstract and complicated concepts like acids and bases. The study aims to develop STEM-PjBl-based teaching materials on acid acid-base topic and evaluate their effectiveness in enhancing students' science literacy. The study employs the 4D development model. The product effectiveness test was conducted at the development stage using a quasi-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 90 chemistry education undergraduate students who took basic chemistry courses in the 2024/2025 academic year, consisting of 3 classes. Data was gathered by a science literacy test, validation sheets, and practicality surveys for lecturers. The validity of questionnaire responses was obtained by three experts' judgment using the kappa coefficient, the practicality questionnaire was also assessed using the kappa coefficient, while the validity of data on science literacy improvement was obtained through pre-test and post-test results. The results showed that the average kappa coefficient of expert validation of STEM-PjBL-based teaching materials is 0.88 (high validity). The practicality questionnaire produced an average kappa coefficient of 0.89 (high practicality). The effectiveness test obtained an average n-gain value of 0.65 (moderate), as evidenced by student involvement in designing projects to create soft drinks from natural ingredients through the PjBL model. The designing and evaluating scientific investigations indicator (n-gain 0.67) shows the most significant improvement because students were required to systematically design experimental procedures, including problem identification, variable determination, hypothesis formulation, planning tools, materials, and work steps following scientific principles.    Keywords: teaching materials, STEM-PjBL, science literacy, acid-base.

Abstract

The research on the development of SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society)-based modules assisted by QR-Code (Quick Response Code) on hydrocarbon material aims to: 1) determine the feasibility of the developed module in accordance with BSNP standards; 2) determine the response of students to the module; and 3) determine the effectiveness of the developed module on student learning outcomes on hydrocarbon material. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The final product is a printed module that is tested for module feasibility by material experts and media experts, as well as response tests and effectiveness tests by 29 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Cerdas Murni. The results of the percentage of module feasibility in the overall study were 88.81% in the feasible category, in content feasibility 88.06%, presentation feasibility 89%, language feasibility 89.5%, and graphic feasibility 88.67%. The results of the percentage of overall student responses were obtained at 88.09% in the very high category, and in the interest aspect 86.36%, the material aspect 89.16%, and the language aspect 88.74%. The effectiveness of the module on student learning outcomes with the N-Gain test obtained an average of 0.78 in the high category, and the module was effective in improving learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society)-based module assisted by QR-Code on hydrocarbon material is feasible to use and gets a positive response in its use, and is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the significant effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model on students' self-efficacy and learning outcomes, and to determine the correlation between self-efficacy and learning outcomes at SMA Swasta Cerdas Murni. The research sample was taken using a cluster sampling technique, namely class XI IPA 3 as the experimental class and XI IPA 1 as the control class. The instruments used were objective tests to measure learning outcomes and non-test questionnaires to measure self-efficacy. Data analysis was carried out through normality, homogeneity, linearity tests, and hypothesis tests using independent sample t-tests and correlation tests. The results showed that the average self-efficacy and student learning outcomes increased significantly after learning. The N-Gain value of self-efficacy in the experimental group was 0.5486 while the learning outcomes were 0.8212, both of which were higher than the control group. For learning outcomes, the N-Gain value of the experimental class (0.8212) was also higher than the control class (0.7515). The t-test results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in terms of self-efficacy and student learning outcomes (p < 0.05). Furthermore, there was a significant correlation between self-efficacy and learning outcomes (p = 0.001). Thus, TSTS-based learning has been proven effective in improving student self-efficacy and learning outcomes, and there is a strong positive relationship between the two variables.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in chemistry subjects are caused by teachers still not implementing the existing learning model, the teaching materials used are still sourced from schools and there are no interactive teaching modules that are considered quite practical in learning activities. The questions used during the evaluation are still dominant in the LOTS type in the 21st century learning era which emphasizes learning with a Higher Level Thinking style (HOTS). To address this problem, this study aims to develop a valid HOTS-integrated socio-scientific issue (SSI) based e-module on chemical equilibrium material. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model from Thiagaranjan which is limited to the 3D stage, namely Define, Design, and Develop. The subjects in this study are 3 lecturers and 2 teachers as validators of material and media experts. The object of this research is an SSI-HOTS-based e-module on chemical equilibrium material. The instruments used, namely non-test instruments, include student needs analysis questionnaires, interview sheets and material and media expert validation questionnaires. The results of the validation of SSI-HOTS-based e-modules on chemical equilibrium materials were declared very valid, with the average percentage of the score of the assessment results of the material expert validator of 91.67% and the average percentage of the score of the assessment results of the media expert validator of 90%. Thus, this e-module has the potential to be an innovative teaching material alternative that is practical and supports the improvement of students' understanding of the concept of chemical equilibrium and higher-level thinking skills.

Abstract

Gerakan Madrasah Sehat (Germas) merupakan program usaha kesehatan madrasah yang sejalan dengan program Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) di madrasah. Salah satu tujuan PHBS adalah pembiasaan mencuci tangan dengan benar menggunakan sabun. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu kelompok mitra meningkatkan pengetahun PHBS sebagai pendukung germas, meningkatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang sabun cuci tangan berbasis daun jelatang sebagai anti bakteri, serta membantu meningkatkan keterampilan mitra dalam pembuatan sabun cuci tangan berbasis daun jelatang sebagai anti bakteri. Peserta pada kegiatan ini terdiri atas guru dan pegawai MTsN 3 Medan yang berjumlah 20 orang. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi edukasi PHBS, Sosialisasi mengenai pembuatan sabun cuci tangan dengan tambahan ekstrak daun jelatang serta praktek langsung pembuatan sabun cuci tangan. Setelah kegiatan dilaksanakan, pengetahuan mitra mengenai program PHBS, pembuatan sabun cuci tangan serta potensi antibakteri daun jelatang pada sabun cuci tangan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 4,16%, 50,80%, dan 62,53%. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan kelompok mitra terkait sabun cuci tangan dengan ekstrak daun jelatang.
