Abstract

Manual material handling (MMH) is one of the most vulnerable forms of activity with the emergence of risk of injury to the body, for example musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This study aims to analyze the work posture carried out by workers at PT. Multitech Advanced Printing Indonesia on the work of moving raw materials. The work includes a series of activities, namely lifting, carrying, and lowering. Of the three activities, lowering was chosen as the most potentially dangerous for workers. This study uses the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) method and Manual Task Risk Assessment (ManTRA) to assess the risk of work injury. Based on the results of the QEC method, the value obtained is 59.88% while the ManTRA method gives the highest value of 2 points from the three conditions for the improvement work posture. Both methods assess work posture as dangerous becauses of the bending position of the back

Abstract

Desa Sampora merupakan desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Cisauk, Kabupaten Tangerang. Desa tersebut dikelilingi oleh perkembangan wilayah Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) yang begitu pesat dan modern. Masyarakat di Desa Sampora juga berusaha mengikuti perkembangan dengan mendirikan sentra-sentra bisnis. Namun, hal tersebut belum didukung peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) sehingga memberikan dampak yang kurang optimal pada pembangunan sentra bisnisnya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, masih banyak warga yang memiliki jenjang pendidikan sampai SMP dan tidak mampu melanjutkan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Karena itu, guna meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat di Desa Sampora, khususnya pada keterampilan pembuatan presentasi, diadakanlah pelatihan penggunaan Ms. office power point sebagai upaya untuk mendukung peningkatan kualitas SDM di Desa Sampora. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengajaran dengan menggunakan modul dan praktik langsung di laboratorium komputer Atma Jaya serta pendampingan untuk pembuatan presentasi yang menarik. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan, terdapat peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam penggunaan power point. Harapannya adalah dengan keterampilan tersebut, masyarakat dapat mengaplikasikannya dalam pengembangan sentra bisnis dan peningkatan kualitas taraf hidup.

Abstract

The implementation of SST in any organization activity can create a positive outcome and bring less negative response if the system failed. The bureau of students, alumni, and student career counselling at Atma Jaya has difficulties managing a room booking process for the student’s organization. The current method of room booking is done manually, and it has taken a lot of costs, especially from time, human resources, and the process itself. This research focuses on developing the SST system that can help the bureau manage the room booking process. The system itself will be developed on a web-based platform using Laravel as the framework. The room booking system will be developed using an SDLC model with five general processes: planning, analysing, design, implementation, and testing. This research will also measure user satisfaction while using the system using Kaplan and Norton Model. The result of this study is a web-based system for a room booking process for students’ organizations in Atma Jaya BSD Campus. Based on the evaluation of user satisfaction, this system has an average score of 4.56, which indicates the user is very satisfied using this system for the room reservation.

Abstract

The concept of playing and learning in the classroom has begun to change from playing using physical toys to playing using a computer such as games. The use of serious games as a learning media can help the improvement of dopamine hormones in human body, which is responsible for bringing pleasure and joy to our mind. When that hormone is triggered, the children will be easier to understand the information provided through the game. TKK Mitra has several problems, such as (1) The old computer with a low spec that they had, so it would be difficult for them to download or to install the new game. (2) The lack of games that can be used for teaching the children, so they often get bored quickly. The purpose of this research is to design an educational PC game. The result of this research is an education game for color and object recognition in English for early childhood education.

Abstract

Object locatization is one of important aspect of computer vision, which refers to a system's ability to detect and determine the position of objects within an image. However, general audience practical understanding of object localization is remains limited. To address this issue as a community service team, and organized a workshop focused on YOLO (You Only Look Once)-based object localization. This workshop was conducted free of charge online via the Google Colab platform. The event was successfully carried out and received positive feedback from the participants. This workshop are providing a real studycase through brain tumor detection from image-based approaches, aiming to provide an in-depth experience in object localization while also offering the latest updates on artificial intellegent technology trends based on digital image processing. Based on evaluation results indicated that the majority of participants, who previously had no experience in object detection, were able to understand the fundamental concepts of object localization and apply them directly using the cloud platform. This workshop demonstrates that cloud-based learning approaches utilizing Google Colab and Roboflow are highly effective in bridging the gap between theory and practice in object localization.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini berangkat dari rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang manfaat tempe, meskipun tempe merupakan makanan tradisional Indonesia yang kaya gizi dan bernilai ekonomi. Sejak 2023, Fakultas Biosains, Teknologi, dan Inovasi (FBTI) serta Pusat Penelitian & Pengembangan Tempe (P3T) Unika Atma Jaya bekerja sama dengan Kampung Tempe Ciomas untuk mendorong inovasi pengolahan tempe. Tujuan utama kegiatan adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu WKRI (Wanita Katolik Republik Indonesia) Ranting Pangkalan Jati dalam memproduksi tempe sehat sekaligus memperluas pengenalan Kampung Tempe Ciomas agar penjualan produknya meningkat. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan melalui kolaborasi dosen dan mahasiswa dengan mitra. Workshop interaktif menjadi metode utama, di mana peserta dilibatkan langsung dalam praktik pembuatan tempe, didukung demonstrasi, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Hasil evaluasi melalui kuesioner pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman peserta, meliputi mikroba fermentasi, manfaat gizi, hingga sejarah tempe. Analisis deskriptif memperkuat bahwa kegiatan ini efektif dalam menambah wawasan. Luaran program mencakup laporan, dokumentasi video yang dipublikasikan di Instagram Kampung Tempe Ciomas, serta artikel jurnal untuk mendukung keberlanjutan. Dokumentasi ini sekaligus berfungsi sebagai sarana promosi dan edukasi masyarakat. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan memberi dampak positif terhadap peningkatan gizi keluarga dan pendapatan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model simulasi sistem produksi menggunakan perangkat lunak FlexSim sebagai alat evaluasi kondisi aktual pada suatu lini produksi. Simulasi berbasis Discrete Event Simulation (DES) dibangun dengan menggunakan data lapangan berupa waktu proses, jumlah operator, kapasitas stasiun kerja, dan aliran material. Proses penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data, pembuatan model, verifikasi, dan validasi menggunakan uji statistik Mann-Whitney U untuk membandingkan output simulasi dengan data produksi aktual. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa pada setiap stasiun kerja, proporsi waktu terbesar didominasi oleh idle time, sedangkan tingkat utilitas operator berada pada kisaran 25,02%–51,35%. Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan adanya potensi peningkatan efisiensi melalui penyeimbangan lini, perancangan ulang tata letak, penyesuaian jumlah operator, dan penjadwalan kerja yang lebih sinkron. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan simulasi dapat menjadi instrumen evaluasi yang efektif untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan sistem secara kuantitatif, sehingga solusi yang dikembangkan di masa depan dapat lebih tepat sasaran dan berbasis data empiris.
