Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu media pembelajaran berbasis Prezi yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri atas 4 tahap, yaitu: 1) pendefinisian, 2) perancangan, 3) pengembangan, dan 4) penyebaran. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah suatu alat presentasi digital berbasis Prezi pada materi Geometri bagi mahasiswa kelas 4B jurusan Tadris Matematika IAIN Kerinci Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Media pembelajaran berbasis Prezi ini terlebih dahulu diperiksa validitasnya untuk kemudian diujicobakan dan diimplementasikan pada proses perkuliahan di dalam kelas. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli pendidikan matematika, pendidikan dasar dan bahasa. Kepraktisan media pembelajaran diselidiki dengan cara mengamati pelaksanaan perkuliahan, pengisian angket praktikalitas oleh mahasiswa, serta wawancara kepada mahasiswa. Keefektifan media pembelajaran diselidiki dengan cara mengamati aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Seluruh data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: 1) media pembelajaran berbasis Prezi sudah valid berdasarkan segi konstruk dan isinya; 2) media pembelajaran berbasis Prezi juga sudah dapat dikatakan praktis berdasarkan pelaksanaan perkuliahan; dan 3) media pembelajaran berbasis Prezi sudah efektif terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba dan implementasi media serta hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Prezi sudah valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika pada mata kuliah Analisis Real-1 khususnya dalam pokok bahasan sifat dan urutan pada bilangan real. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan objek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa semester IV program studi tadris/pendidikan matematika di IAIN Padangsidimpuan yang berjumlah 34 orang  dengan tingkat kemampuan heterogen. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes essay. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi data kemudian menyajikan data dalam bentuk paragraf dan gambar, selanjutnya mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan umum yang dialami mahasiswa pada penelitian ini terjadi pada (1) kesulitan memahami konsep pernyataan atau simbol matematika, dan (2) menyusun bukti kebenaran secaramatematis

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of the accompaniment of a mathematics learning device development. The learning tools are lesson plans and worksheets. The subjects in this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan, totaling 41 students. The instruments used are questionnaires, interviews with 5 students and document studies in the form of lesson plans and worksheets. The data analysis technique used was that all the data were edited, coded, and the data was entered into a table and then analyzed. The accompaniment impact obtained by adding interest and attracting students' attention is the highest position, namely 93% and making it easier to understand material concepts and develop mathematical abilities occupies the lowest position, namely 73%. The impact of the accompaniment obtained in the interview seen from the aspect of interest and attention seemed to increase the focus of learning, increase the enthusiasm for learning mathematics and make learning mathematics more fun. Independence in learning mathematics has an accompaniment effect in increasing the ability to think about problem solving procedures, dare to ask questions, and learn from various sources. Thinking skills have an accompaniment impact that students have the ability to take the essence of the subject matter. Activities and creativity have an accompaniment impact that students are more active in learning mathematics and more creative in solving mathematical problems. In the study of documentation seen from 3 aspects, namely planning, implementation and evaluation which shows that it is written systematically

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of class VII students' interest in learning mathematics at SMP Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan. This research was conducted using a survey method. The population in this study were all students of class VII. As for the sample in this study were 26 students who were taken from the population with a sampling technique in accordance with the proportions. The instrument used was a learning interest questionnaire. Interest in learning questionnaires distributed to a sample of 20 items. The questionnaire that is distributed to the sample is a valid questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan have moderate learning interest in mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji gaya belajar mahasiswa di era Society 5.0 serta mengidentifikasi apakah terdapat perubahan dalam preferensi gaya belajar pada era tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen berupa data survei dan teknik pengumpulan data simple random sampling. Dari 53 responden di UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar visual sebesar 24%, gaya belajar auditori sebesar 21%, dan gaya belajar kinestetik sebesar 55%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, mahasiswa UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan lebih cenderung menggunakan gaya belajar kinestetik untuk mempermudah pemahaman materi serta penyerapan informasi pembelajaran. Gaya belajar kinestetik dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah, karena mahasiswa dapat belajar melalui pengalaman langsung dan praktik nyata. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital dalam proses pembelajaran semakin meningkat di era Society 5.0, yang turut mempengaruhi cara mahasiswa berinteraksi dengan materi pembelajaran. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya adaptasi metode pengajaran yang lebih interaktif dan praktis untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gaya belajar kinestetik. Di era Society 5.0, pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan teknologi dan memungkinkan interaksi langsung akan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman bagaimana gaya belajar mahasiswa berubah dan berkembang di era yang semakin digital dan terhubung, serta implikasinya bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika belum sepenuhnya fokus terhadap pengembangan HOTS. Hal ini mengakibatkan masalah bagi siswa masih kurang mampu dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam matematika dengan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Model PBL dinilai memiliki kesesuaian dalam melatih HOTS siswa karena sintaks dalam PBL ada proses pemecahan masalah yang sejalan dengan tuntutan kurikulum 2013. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Problem Based Learning terhadap Higher Order Thinking Skills dalam Pemebelajaran Matematika Siswa dan Untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap Problem Based Learning dalam Pembelajaran Matematika di SMPN 7 Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Pretes Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII. Kelas eksperimen VIII-3 dengan jumlah 27 orang dan kelas kontrol VIII-4 dengan 24 siswa SMP Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan. Pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat pengaruh Problem Based Learning terhadap Higher Order Thinking Skill dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa SMPN 7 Padangsidimpuan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai thitung (=5,364) > ttabel (=1,676). (2) Respon siswa terhadap komponen serta seluruh rangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning menghasilkan respon yang positif.

Abstract

The curriculum is a set of designed arrangements that include goals, materials, methods, and assessments used in the educational process. The curriculum serves as a guide for implementing learning activities and functions as a tool to achieve the objectives of education. This study aims to compare the mathematics curriculum at the secondary school level in Indonesia and Singapore. This research is qualitative, using descriptive methods and data collection techniques from articles, journals, books, and online media. The results obtained indicate that the Indonesian curriculum emphasizes 21st-century competency achievements, while Singapore focuses primarily on problem-solving with five conceptual goals. The content of the secondary school mathematics curriculum in Indonesia consists of numbers, algebra, measurement, geometry, data analysis and probability, as well as calculus, whereas Singapore's curriculum includes numbers and algebra, geometry and measurement, and statistics and probability. Mathematics learning in Indonesia is project-based, reinforcing the Pancasila student profile. Meanwhile, in Singapore, the Singapore Math teaching method focuses on two main principles: the Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract (CPA) approach and mastery of content. The assessment methods used are both formative and summative but with different objectives

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes on the Material of Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Solutions of Class X Students at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Onang. The learning outcomes of high school students in chemistry are still relatively low, one of which is caused by the dominance of teachers in a less innovative learning process that makes students passive. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 Batang Onang with a research sample of two classes: class X MIA-2 (control class) with 16 male students and 12 female students, and class X MIA-3 (experimental class) with 14 male students and 13 female students. This research method is an experiment with a non-randomized group pre-test post-test design. The instrument used was an essay test of 5 questions. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the guided inquiry learning model. In conclusion, the guided inquiry learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in chemistry learning. The results of hypothesis testing using T Test (Independent Sample t Test). This is evidenced based on the calculation of hypothesis testing with an average test taken from the pretest and posttest scores that the results of the posttest independent sample t test with a significant level value (α = 0.05) obtained a significant value (2-tailed) of 0.008. The significant value (2-tailed) obtained is smaller than 0.05, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of guided inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions in class X SMA N 1 Batang Onang.

This study aims to see the results of the application of the Inquiry-Based Learning Model in improving student learning outcomes in Redox Reaction subject matter for Class X Mas Al-Khoir Mananti Sosa Jae Village, Kec. Huta Raja Tinggi, Kab. Padang Lawas. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research. Mas Al-Khoir Mananti Sosa Jae Village, Kec is the location used in this research. Huta Raja Tinggi, Kab. Padang Lawas. Data collection instruments are through tests and observations. The analysis method used in this research is quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the study show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes with the application of an inquiry-based learning model of redox reaction material for students of grade X from pre-cycle, cycle I to cycle II. Where the percentage of students who completed was 25% in pre-cycle, then increased in cycle I session 1 to 33.4%, then increased in cycle I session 2 to 60%, then increased in cycle II to 86.7%. The percentage of students who did not complete decreased from 75% in the pre-cycle, decreased to 66.6% in Cycle I Session 1, decreased to 40% in Cycle I Session 2, and decreased to 13.3% in Cycle II. The average score of the students increased from 54.3 before the cycle, then increased from 59.3 in cycle I to 68, then increased to 80 in cycle II. Following the indicators of success of this action, where students have passed the KKM (≥7).
