Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop computer network infrastructure managementat the Sumbawa University of Technology. The research begins by analyzingcomputer network infrastructure that is running, then donedevelopment of computer network infrastructure management to improve performancemanagement of data and information exchange. The research method used isPPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize) which isnetwork design method from Cisco as a network service life cyclein supporting the development of computer networks. At the Prepare stage, it is carried outanalysis of the existing infrastructure using the existing Net Toolsavailable on Android Smartphones to analyze Wifi availability anduse Host Tracker to test server stability. Furthermore, at the Plan stageand the design is carried out to develop the existing infrastructure. Results of the Implement stagewill be tested again to ensure the network infrastructure is operationaloptimal. The results showed that the area that is not covered by WiFi(Blank Spot) has decreased. The availability of the server also has Up Timeabove 99.9%. So it can be concluded in this study, that withusing the new infrastructure design is able to provide availabilitya more optimal network to support the Smart Campus program at the UniversitySumbawa technology.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to design and implement the chatbot system "Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa Infomatrix", which by utilizing the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) produces an interactive and efficient platform for students, facilitating access to comprehensive information about the university and helping makes it easier for students to get the right information to support their academic process on campus. Built web-based chatbot application, developed using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework, integrated with a MySQL database, and utilizing Dialogflow cloud integration for machine and user conversation chat systems. This research methodology follows Angie Method and in system design, uses a structured design method that combines Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). The system testing uses a beta testing approach. With the presence of this Institutional Chatbot Application, it can make it easier for students to obtain UTS university data and information and become an effort to increase involvement at Sumbawa University of Technology through AI-based interactions.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages teachers and educational practitioners to make adjustments to the ways and methods of student learning. Students who are social creatures, of course, also feel the impact of these technological developments. One of them is gadget. It is not uncommon for students to neglect their duties as a student due to the preoccupation with playing gadgets. Therefore, it is necessary if students are facilitated so that they can learn in a fun way as if they are playing gadgets. This android-based contextual math learning application is designed using the waterfall method, which consists of several math materials including: multiplication, division, fractions, square, rectangle and comparison. The activities in the application are designed to guide students to discover (guided discovery) math concepts. The goal is to provide meaningful learning experiences and experience in solving non-routine (contextual) problems. This application has been tested on 43 users including students and teachers. From the interview results, it is known that the application can be an alternative that can be used by students to learn math concepts. An attractive and contextual display provides a positive response by users regarding the application that has been developed.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology impacts various fields, including healthcare services. The Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI), as a professional organization for midwives in Indonesia, plays a role in enhancing the professionalism of its members to ensure quality healthcare services. This study aims to develop an Android-based application to disseminate information about IBI activities in the Sumbawa region, facilitating public access to midwifery services. The application development process includes system analysis, design, implementation, and testing using the blackbox testing method. The application features five main functions: activity news, event agendas, information about midwives, organizational profiles, and links to IBI-related websites. Test results indicate that each feature operates as intended. This application is expected to serve as an effective information medium, improving public access to healthcare services, particularly in the midwifery field, and supporting IBI activities in providing more transparent and integrated services.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika, dan Statistik (Kominfotik) Sumbawa mengelola jaringan Wifi yang penting untuk akses internet. Namun, potensi ancaman seperti serangan Packet Sniffing dapat membahayakan data sensitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keamanan jaringan Wifi menggunakan metode Penetration Testing dan Wireshark, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan keamanan jaringan dan melindungi data. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif dengan tahapan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Selanjutnya, dilakukan penetration testing yang mencakup pengumpulan informasi, deteksi kerentanan, simulasi serangan menggunakan Wireshark, dan penyusunan laporan. Kebutuhan sistem meliputi perangkat keras seperti laptop Acer dan perangkat lunak seperti Windows 10 dan Wireshark untuk mendukung penelitian. Pengumpulan data observasi dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengamati langsung infrastruktur jaringan WiFi di Kominfo dan Informatika (Kominfotik) Sumbawa. Proses ini mencakup identifikasi perangkat keras seperti router, access point, dan perangkat klien yang terhubung. Selain itu, pengamatan juga dilakukan terhadap konfigurasi jaringan, termasuk jenis enkripsi yang diterapkan (WPA2 atau WPA3), pengaturan keamanan, dan kebijakan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa protokol WPA2, meskipun lebih aman, masih rentan terhadap serangan packet sniffing seperti deauthentication dan dictionary attack. Penting untuk memahami kerentanan ini dan menerapkan strategi mitigasi untuk melindungi data sensitif serta integritas jaringan Wi-Fi. Disarankan untuk migrasi ke WPA3, menerapkan kata sandi kuat, melakukan pemantauan jaringan, menggunakan VPN, dan meningkatkan edukasi pengguna tentang keamanan siber untuk melindungi jaringan Wi-Fi.

layanan internet atau  Internet Service Provider (ISP) (Arifin, Z. 2020). Untuk menjamin komunikasi internet yang stabil dan baik diperlukan layanan internet yang mumpuni. Teknologi digital yang semakin berkembang pesat diringi oleh tumbuhnya pengguna layanan internet di masyarakat, membuat para penyedia layanan internet berlomba-lomba dalam mempromosikan produknya.)".Metode yang digunakan Quality of Service (QOS antaralian : Identifikasi Trafik jaringan, Pengukuran Parameter (QoS), Simulai dan Analisis data, Evaluasi dan Implementasi., Hasil dari Penelitian ini Pertama, dalam parameter delay,   NetHome   menunjukkan performa yang lebih baik dibandingkan   IndiHome  , terutama pada siang hari di mana   IndiHome   mencatat delay tertinggi hingga 3,20 detik. Disarankan agar ISP melakukan optimalisasi pengelolaan jaringan, seperti pengurangan jumlah pelanggan dalam satu segmen, peningkatan kapasitas server regional, dan pembaruan perangkat CPE. Kedua, pada parameter throughput,   IndiHome   menunjukkan throughput yang lebih stabil dan tinggi, terutama pada malam hari, dengan puncak mencapai lebih dari 2.156.000 Kbps. Sementara itu, NetHome   mengalami fluktuasi yang signifikan, terutama pada siang hari. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, NetHome  perlu meningkatkan kapasitas bandwidth uplink dan menambah jumlah access point. Penerapan teknologi mikrosektorisasi dan monitoring berbasis cloud juga disarankan. Ketiga, analisis packet loss menunjukkan bahwa NetHome   memiliki tingkat kehilangan paket yang lebih rendah dibandingkan  IndiHome  , menandakan stabilitas transmisi data yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penentuan penerima biaya penanggulangan kerawanan sosial masyarakat di Desa Boak selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual melalui musyawarah antar perangkat desa. Proses tersebut sering kali memerlukan waktu yang lama, rentan terhadap subjektivitas, dan berpotensi menimbulkan ketidaktepatan sasaran penerima bantuan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis web yang mampu membantu pihak desa dalam menentukan penerima bantuan secara lebih objektif, cepat, dan tepat sasaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk menghitung bobot masing-masing kriteria penilaian, serta Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) untuk melakukan proses pemeringkatan alternatif. Kriteria yang dipertimbangkan meliputi penghasilan, jumlah tanggungan, jenis pekerjaan, dan kondisi tempat tinggal. Sistem dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Laravel dan basis data MySQL, serta diuji menggunakan metode black box testing untuk memastikan fungsionalitasnya. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat menghasilkan peringkat calon penerima bantuan secara konsisten (CR = 0,068) sesuai bobot kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Dengan demikian, SPK yang dihasilkan dapat menjadi sarana efektif bagi pemerintah Desa Boak dalam meningkatkan akurasi, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas penyaluran bantuan sosial kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
