Abstract

Dalam proses penambangan dapat menimbulkan tekanan lingkungan yang berdampak fisik maupun non fisik, bentuk tekanan lingkungan dapat berupa kebisingan dan kelembaban. Pada proses kegiatan produksi pekerja masih belum banyak yang memakai alat pelindung diri (APD), seperti pada kegiatan pemboran pekerja tidak memakai alat pelindung telinga, mata dan mulut. Di lokasi yang menjadi objek penelitian beberapa masih melebihi nilai ambang batas, seperti tingkat kebisingan pada area pemboran 99.1 dBA dan lintasan kerja 96.3 dBA. Tujuan penelitian ialah mengidentifikasi bahaya tingkat kebisingan, kelembaban, mengetahui persepsi para pekerja dan memetakan hasil tingkat kebisingan dan kelembaban menggunakan software surfer 11. Dari hasil penelitian tingkat kebisingan melebihi nilai ambang batas pada area bengkel 86.04 dB, pemboran 97.18 dB, lintasan kerja 96.35 dB, dan area peledakan 60,9 dB dan tingkat kelembaban masih berada dibawah 85% nilai ambang batas. Pemetaan menunjukkan tiga warna yaitu warna biru 60 – 72 dB, area warna hijau 72 - 82 dB, area warna orange 84 – 92 dan area warna merah 94 – 100 dB. Berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Tenaga Kerja Nomor KEP-51/MENAKER/1999 sebagai acuan ambang batas kerja maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kebisingan melebihi nilai ambang batas, tingkat kelembaban dibawah ambang batas dan persepsi pekerja yang dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja.

Abstract

Raw material inventory is a crucial aspect of a business, as it can significantly affect the costs incurred. One type of raw material is perishable raw material, which, due to its nature, relates to shelf life and can impact not only the quantity of inventory but also inventory costs. One business that utilizes perishable raw materials is the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) producing serundeng, using sweet potatoes and ghost peppers as perishable raw materials. The use of easily spoilable raw materials can be detrimental to SMEs if not managed properly. To avoid losses and improve efficiency, an analysis will be conducted by calculating inventory control. This research employs the multi-item Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, considering expiration dates and quantity discounts. The final outcome of the research includes a comparison of inventory levels between conventional methods and the proposed method, along with an analysis of the management implications of the findings. The results indicate that the total inventory costs without utilizing inventory control methods are higher than those using inventory management techniques. Therefore, this study provides insights to SMEs that effective inventory control can help the company not only reduce expenses but also increase revenue.

Abstract

Sunshine Duration (SD) has an important role in climate change or the weather on the earth. Climate change can be indicated by changing SD values ​​(dimming/brightening) in recent decades. SD and diurnal temperature range (DTR) analysis needs to be done to find out how significant the impact of climate change. The daily dataset from 1981-2019 of SD, DTR, Tmean, Tmax, Tmin, and rainfall in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, is analyzed with Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) and wavelet coherence (WTC). Results of CWT using the Morlet wavelet SD have a dominant period of 8-16 months. DTR has a dominant period of 8-16 months and 32-64 months. The increase in SD indicates that Pontianak is in a brightening period caused by changes in the characteristics of clouds and aerosols. It causes an increase in the amount of solar energy reaching the earth's surface. Climate change has been detected by the decrease in DTR. A negative correlation was found between DTR and SD (r = -0.80). DTR is a very good indicator of climate change because of its sensitivity to radiative energy balance. Changes in SD have a significant impact on Tmean, Tmax, and Tmin. The increase of Tmin, faster than Tmax, causes a decrease in DTR. Tmin is predicted to be higher. Tmean and Tmax have dominant periods of 8-16 months, while Tmin has dominant periods of 12-20 months and 32-64 months. The increase in temperature detected during this period is associated with peatland forest fires in Kalimantan. This condition occurs due to the effect of the brightening period and increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Rainfall is detected in the period of 4-8 months and 8-16 months. The drought associated with the El Nino event resulted in a large amount of rainfall deviation from normal.

Abstract

Kegiatan penambangan emas secara tradisional dilakukan oleh masyarakat di Desa Sungai Kapas, Kabupaten Merangin, Jambi menyisakan lubang- lubang dan kolam akibat aktivitas penambangan emas. Aktivitas penambangan emas dilakukan disekitar aliran Sungai Blengo yang ada di Desa Sungai Kapas. Sisa air limbah penambangan dialirkan secara langsung ke sungai sehingga menyebabkan kekeruhan pada air Sungai Blengo. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui kadar pencemaran yang terjadi di Sungai Blengo dengan parameter; TSS (total suspended solid), TDS (total dissolved solid), pH, dan Suhu. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa nilai TSS pada setiap sampel stasiun penelitian memiliki nilai melebihi ambang batas maksimal, nilai yang memenuhi nilai maksimal ambang batas adalah 200 mg/L pada stasiun 8 (delapan), pada stasiun lainnya nilai TSS melebihi 200 mg/L dengan nilai tertinggi sebesar 6.400 mg/L pada stasiun 7 (tujuh). Nilai pH pada staisun 3 (tiga) dan memiliki nilai 4,7 dengan demikian nilai tersebut tidak memenuhi standar sebesar 6-9. Dengan demikian dapat diketahui bahwa air Sungai Blengo tidak layak. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak memenuhinya syarat-syarat yang ada pada peraturan yang berlaku untuk penambangan serta pengolahan emas.
