Abstract

Preparation for a healthy pregnancy should be prepared at least three to six months before pregnancy occurs. Adequate nutritional intake during the preconception period is the start of a healthy pregnancy and prevents stunting. One effort to convey nutritional knowledge to preconception mothers is through nutrition education. Through preconception nutrition education, a person's knowledge will increase, which will then have implications for their behavior in fulfilling preconception nutrition. This study aims to analyze the effect of balanced nutrition education on nutritional fulfillment behavior in an effort to prevent stunting in preconception mothers. The research design used was cross-sectional. The population was all preconception women in Gading Village, Probolinggo, totaling 67 people. The sample was determined using a simple random sampling technique and obtained 46 respondents. The research data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon statistical test. The analysis results showed a P value of 0.000, indicating that there is an effect of balanced nutrition education on nutritional fulfillment behavior in an effort to prevent stunting. Balanced nutrition education during the preconception period for expectant mothers is very necessary in improving good behavior in fulfilling balanced nutrition as an effort to prevent stunting from the preconception period.

Abstract

The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia based on Riskesdas in 2018 decreased by around 7.2% from 37.2% of the national stunting prevalence in 2017, but this figure is still below the target set by WHO, which is below 20%. The prevalence of stunting in East Java, contributes as much as 20%. The prevalence of stunting in Java is 26.7%. The stunting rate in Probolinggo Regency is quite high. Probolinggo Regency is one of the stunting priority districts in East Java with a stunting percentage of 42.5%, which means that the stunting problem in Probolinggo Regency is a serious problem. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of implementing local-based supplementary feeding for stunting toddlers with animation media on Paiton Village. The design used in this study used Pre-Experimental Design One Group Pre-Post-Test design. The number of samples was 40 mothers under five, Data collection techniques in this study by identifying respondents in accordance with research criteria. The primary data was obtained directly by involving the village midwife responsible for Paiton Village. This study used questionnaires as a data collection tool. The analysis used in this study was the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results of the study found that there was an influence on the application of local-based supplementary feeding for stunting toddlers with animation media on Paiton Village

Abstract

Nutrition during preconception is the main factor that affects the condition of women of childbearing age during pregnancy and the well-being of the baby. Nutritional status during preconception is one of the determinants of the quality of human life, especially for mothers and babies, with the fulfillment of balanced nutrition. In 2020, the risk of KEK in Indonesia was 9.7% in pregnant women (Ministry of Health, 2021). In 2022, the number of pregnant women experiencing KEK was 5.6%. In Probolinggo Regency in 2021, 12.7% of pregnant women had KEK. Providing nutritional education is one effort to convey nutritional knowledge to preconception women. This study aimed to analyze the Effect of Balanced Nutrition Education on Nutritional Fulfillment Behavior in efforts to prevent stunting in Preconception Women. The research design used was cross-sectional. The population in this study were all preconception women in Gading Village, Probolinggo, totaling 67 people. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The sample in this study was some women in Gading Village, Probolinggo, totaling 46 people. The analysis used is the Wilcoxon test statistical test using SPSS. The results of the study obtained the results of the analysis test using the Wilcoxon test showed a sig value of 0.000. Preconception nutritional preparation for prospective mothers is very necessary in preventing stunting.

Abstract

Background: Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under 5 years of age (toddlers) due to chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, especially in the first 1000 days of life (HPK), namely from the fetus to the child aged 23 months. The Purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between the quality of food consumption and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 6-23 months. Method: This research is a correlation research using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were mothers and toddlers aged 6-23 months with stunting nutritional status, and a sample of 33 respondents was obtained using simple random sampling. Data collection includes coding, editing and tabulating, then the data is analyzed using SPSS with the chi-square test. To determine the strength and weakness of the relationship, use the Contingency Coefficient Test.Results, it was found that those who consumed poor quality food were 22 toddlers (66.7%). The results of the statistical test obtained Pvalue = 0.027 (probability value (p) <  (0.05) which means that H1 is accepted so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the quality of food consumption and the incidence of stunting in Glundengan village, Wuluhan sub-district.Conclusion in the contingency coefficient test the value is equal to 0.372 means that the relationship between the quality of food consumption and the incidence of stunting is weak. Suggestion: Mothers who have toddlers with stunted nutritional status are expected to provide quality food intake so that the toddler's nutritional status becomes normal. Keywords: Quality of Food Consumption, Stunting Incidence. ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Stunting adalah kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak dibawah usia 5 tahun (balita) akibat kekurangan gizi kronis dan infeksi berulang terutama pada periode 1000 hari pertama kehidupah (HPK), yaitu dari janin hingga anak berusia 23 bulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kualitas konsumsi makanan dengan kejadian stunting pada balita usia 6-23 bulan.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu dan balita usia 6-23 bulan dengan status gizi stunting, dan didapatkaan sampel sebanyak 33 responden yang diambil dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data meliputi coding, editing dan tabulating, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS dengan chi-square test. Untuk mengetahui kuat lemahnya hubungan menggunakan Uji Koofesiensi kontingensi.Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa yang mengkonsumsi makanan yang tidak berkualitas adalah 22 balita (66,7%). Hasil uji statistik didapatkan Pvalue = 0,027 (nilai probabilitas (p)< a (0,05 ) yang artinya H1 diterimaKesimpulan bahwa ada hubungan kualitas konsumsi makanan dengan kejadian stunting di desa glundengan kecamatan wuluhan. Sedangkan pada uji koofesiensi kontingensi dimana nilainya sebesar 0,372 memiliki arti hubungan antara kualitas konsumsi makanan dengan kejadian stunting adalah lemah.Saran: Bagi ibu yang memiliki balita dengan status gizi stunting diharapkan memberikan asupan makanan yang berkualitas agar status gizi balita menjadi normal. Kata Kunci: Kualitas Konsumsi Makanan, Kejadian Stunting.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIbu nifas yang mengalami masalah dalam menyusui salah satunya di Desa Gading Kabupaten Probolinggo. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah semua pendamping tidak pernah menerapkan oksitosin massage dan endorphine massage. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bekerjasama dengan dua mitra yaitu di Dusun Bunut dan Dusun Krajan Desa Gading Kabupaten Probolinggo. Metode PKM yang dilakukan kepada mitra adalah pendamping buteki paham tentang metode pijat endorphine dan oksitosin. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu dan pendamping buteki tentang cara meningkatkan ASI secara alami. Terdapat peningkatan keterampilan pendamping buteki (ibu menyusui) dalam melakukan pijat endorphine dan oksitosin. Terdapat peningkatan motivasi ibu untuk memberikan ASI secara ekslusif. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berjalan secara rutin dan berkelanjutan sehingga kegiatan ini dapat berjalan secara mandiri oleh masyarakat.Kata Kunci: metode pijat endorphine dan oksitosin, pendamping buteki, peningkatan produksi ASIABSTRACTPostpartum mothers who experience problems in breastfeeding are present in Gading Village, Probolinggo Regency. One of the causes was that assistance given never applied oxytocin masses and endorphin massage. In this Community Partnership Program (PKM), in collaboration with two partners in Bunus and Krajan communities in Gading Village, Probolinggo District, it is expected that those assisting breastfeeding mothers would have the knowledge about endorphin and oxytocin massage methods. The results of this project indicated an increase in the knowledge of mothers and companions of breastfeeding mothersabout how to naturallyincrease breast milk production. There was an increase in skills in doing endorphin and oxytocin massage.The motivation of mothers to breastfeed exclusively was also increased. This activity is expected to run routinely and sustainably. As such,this project can be run independently by the community.Keyword: endorphine and oxytocin Massage Methods, companion to breastfeeding mothers, increased breastmilk production.

Abstract

One indicator of health development achievement is the nutritional status of children under 5 years old (toddlers). This phase is known as the golden period where development and growth are very rapid, so children's nutritional needs must be met. During this period, toddlers are very vulnerable to malnutrition, one of which is stunting. Although in East Java the figures have shown a decline in stunting, this is still not said to be completely successful because in Indonesia the target is to reach a stunting prevalence rate of 14% in 2024. The purpose of this study To determine the effectiveness of the baby-led weaning method on the eating patterns of children aged 9-12 months in an effort to improve children's nutritional status The method used in this study was a quasi-experiment with one group pretest posttest. The intervention was a technique of feeding babies aged 9-12 months using the baby-led weaning (BLW) method. The population in this study were all babies aged 9-12 months totaling 46 respondents. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 46 respondents. Data collection used a questionnaire, and was analyzed using the Wilcoxon statistical test. The results of this study indicate that Ha is accepted with an SPSS value of 0.001, which is <0.05, meaning that there is an Effect of the Baby Led Weaning (BLW) Method on the Eating Patterns of Children Aged 9 - 12 Months in an Effort to Improve Children's Nutritional Status. Suggestions, it is hoped that implementing the BLW method can help improve children's eating patterns and nutritional status. The output of this study is an accredited national journal.

Abstract

An expert system is a computer program designed to make decisions similar to those made by one or more experts. An expert system is the use of technology that can simplify a person's work. Based on data, nutritional anemia in adolescents in Probolinggo Regency is 9.3%. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of an expert system for diagnosing anemia on the accuracy of anemia incidents in adolescent students. The research design is quasi-experimental. The population in this study were all adolescent students who were final year students at the Hafshawaty Islamic Boarding School and were in the process of college, totaling 60 adolescents. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The steps will be done by dividing control and intervention groups at the same time. The analysis used is the chi-square statistical test with a significance level of 95% (alpha 0.05) using SPSS. The results of the study are the use of expert systems with the highest accuracy of anemia diagnosis is Correct and Using expert systems as many as 30 people (50.0%). The category does not use expert systems and inaccurate diagnoses as many as 25 people (41.7%). The results of the statistical test obtained showed a p-value of 0.000 <0.05 meaning  there is an Effectiveness of Expert Systems to diagnose anemia on the Accuracy of Anemia Incidents in Adolescent Students at Pondok Putri Hafshawaty. It is hoped that expert systems can be used as technology to perform early detection independently in cases of anemia. The output of this study will be published through the Accredited National Journal Sinta.
