Abstract

M-payment is a form of adaptation in payment systems through digital technology. This study aims to determine the influence of perceived enjoyment as a complementary factor to the DeLone and McLean (DM) Information System Success Model of m-payment adoption level in West Papua Province. A total of 244 valid respondents were obtained via a questionnaire using purposive sampling technique and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results showed that out of eleven hypotheses, eight were accepted, and three were rejected. The result show that the Perceived Enjoyment (PE) significantly influences the m-payment adoption level in West Papua Province. However, service quality is not a determinant of m-payment adoption levels in West Papua Province. Additionally, system quality not a determinant on user satisfaction of the technology. A post-hoc evaluation was also conducted using gender and age as control variables, indicating that the adoption levels varied among the control variable groups. This provides significant insights both theoretical and practical which are discussed in discussion and conclusion section.

Abstract

This research aims to predict the characteristics of driver's license (SIM) applicants at the SATPAS (Driver’s License Issuance Unit) Polresta Manokwari using Hierarchical Multiple Regression analysis. The study explores six key variables: gender, age, occupation, city, type of driver's license, and type of application, as predictors of applicant characteristics. The analysis was conducted using SPSS version 29, with data collected from the population of driver's license applicants since 2023. Three models were tested, with Model 3 being identified as the best predictor, explaining 7% of the variance in applicant characteristics (R² = 0.070). This model incorporates the variables of age, occupation, city, and type of application, while gender and driver's license class were found to have no significant individual impact. The partial t-test results show that age, occupation, city, and type of application significantly influence applicant characteristics, with negative regression coefficients indicating that an increase in these variables leads to a decrease in the predicted characteristics of SIM applicants. The study highlights practical implications for SATPAS, suggesting that service processes could be improved by considering demographic factors such as age and occupation in order to optimize resource allocation and reduce service complexity. However, the study has several limitations. The use of secondary data limits the completeness and accuracy of the analysis, and the limited number of variables results in a narrow interpretation of the factors influencing SIM applicants. Additionally, the model explains only a small portion of the variance in applicant characteristics, suggesting that other unmeasured factors, such as education level or driving experience, may play a more significant role. Furthermore, the findings are not generalizable to other regions, as local conditions may impact license application patterns. Future research should address these limitations by collecting primary data, expanding the range of variables, employing more sophisticated analytical methods, and exploring other regions. This would provide a more comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting driver's license applicants and contribute to enhancing the quality of SIM issuance services in Indonesia. Abstract

A mobile application that is built and runs on different platforms, such as iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store), may not necessarily have the same user satisfaction (dissatisfaction) reviews understood by both user segments. This is due to, for example, the differences in the technology used, which ultimately result in different user behaviors. This can be observed from the average ratings on each platform, even though it is the same application. Therefore, this research aims to provide a foundation for the assumptions made. The case study used is the Satu Sehat mobile application, a widely utilized health service application. Text mining methods: sentiment analysis using Naive Bayes and topic modeling using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) were chosen due to their relevance to the research objectives. A total of 21,750 reviews from the Google Play Store and 7,350 reviews from the Apple App Store were collected using scraping techniques. The results showed that sentiment analysis model on negative sentiment in the Apple App Store excelled with a precision of 93%, recall of 93%, and F1-score of 95%, while in the Google Play Store it had a precision of 82%, recall of 87%, and F1-score of 85%. However, the performance of the positive sentiment model in the Apple App Store was very low, with a precision of 63%, recall of 33%, and F1-score of 43%, compared to the Google Play Store which had a precision of 78%, recall of 71%, and F1-score of 74%. This indicates that a higher level of dissatisfaction is observed in the Apple App Store compared to Android. These results are consistent with the average ratings of the application on both platforms. Topic modeling results, which presented 15 topics from each platform, showed similar common issues such as login, OTP verification, and data input errors on both platforms. However, reviews of the Satu Sehat running on the Apple tend to be more negative compared to the one of Android. Therefore, improving the application quality of the Apple platform is more expected to meet user expectations and enhancing the overall rating as in the Andrond one.

Abstract

A government agency requires employees who have competence and good performance. Various factors affect performance between the abilities of other individuals and the agency environment, including the office of the Ministry of Religion in West Papua Province. However, the performance assessment process still needs to be better for making assessment decisions and is still subjectively based. Those things affect the employee's assessments. For example, employees cannot complete work according to predetermined targets and must be more careful in carrying out the work. So, to facilitate this assessment, an accurate calculation application is needed. A Self Organizing Map (SOM) is used to sort data in a group with similar data that are close to each other. Using the R (programming language) and R studio as the required application platform, we can calculate values and form them into three clusters: very good, quite good, and poor. Then, from the calculation results, 55 employees, with a percentage of 42%, match cluster with quite good performance, 29 employees, with a percentage of 22%, are in cluster with poor performance, and 48 employees, with a percentage of 36%, are in cluster with very good performance.

Abstract

Eggs are a widely favored source of animal protein. One commonly consumed type is chicken eggs. Besides being easy to prepare, a notable advantage of chicken eggs is their affordability compared to other sources of animal protein. However, chicken eggs are subject to price fluctuations at specific times, such as religious holidays. These fluctuations can lead to losses for both producers and consumers. One way to address this issue is by forecasting. Forecasting is crucial as it provides estimated price information for the future. With this information, producers and consumers can prepare appropriate strategies to cope with price changes. The price of chicken eggs fluctuates periodically, thus the method employed in this research is Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA). SARIMA is a forecasting method specifically used for data exhibiting seasonal patterns. Based on the results of this study, the best SARIMA model obtained is , demonstrating excellent performance with an RMSE value of 1491.30 and a MAPE of 3.40%. From this model, forecasted prices of chicken eggs in the traditional market of Manokwari city for the next 12 months are obtained, spanning from March 2024 to February 2025. According to the forecast results, the price of chicken eggs is expected to rise in March to June 2024 and December 2024 to January 2025.

Abstract

Liver health is very important for the human body. The liver as an organ that has the main task of neutralizing toxins in the body makes toxins that have been entering through our bodies from food or the environment can be neutralized by the liver. Based on the results of interviews conducted online to dr. Felix who works at Bhayangkara Hospital, one of the problems that occurs in the medical world is that people who are not medically trained if they experience symptoms of liver disease do not understand the ways to overcome them or the solution. If ignored, liver problems can get worse and more difficult to treat. Therefore, to overcome these problems, development is carried out by creating an expert system that can detect liver disease early by implementing the Naïve Bayes Method on the expert system. The expert system was built using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) development method. By making a design consisting of use cases, activities, class diagrams, database design and user interface design. Implementation in this expert system uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database. After the system is successfully created, the system is tested using the blackbox testing method which shows that the functionality of the expert system is running well and testing the user acceptance test (UAT) by distributing questionnaires to respondents to get the percentage of feasibility of 76.7% with a suitable category for use
