Abstract

Technological advancements have transformed human life paradigms, including in the provision of facility rental services by the Educational Quality Assurance Agency (BPMP) of West Papua. This research aims to design the user interface (UI/UX) of the BPMP West Papua facility rental application to provide a satisfying user experience through clear information, easy navigation, and appealing visual design. The method used in designing the UI/UX of this application is Goal Directed Design (GDD), which follows six stages of research which include Research, Modeling, Requirements, Framework, Refinement, and Support. Evaluation results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 20 respondents indicated that the application achieved an average SUS score of 77.8 (Grade B), demonstrating good acceptance of the application prototype. These evaluation results confirm that the prototype is acceptable.

Abstract

The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) is one of the Faculties at the University of Papua which has two majors namely, Aquatic Resources and Marine Sciences. Each department has a laboratory that can be rented by students, lecturers, and the general public. The large number of laboratory equipment often makes it difficult for laboratory managers to arrange loan data and return laboratory equipment. Most of the borrowing data is filed in the form of files which might be damaged if a disaster occurs, besides that the means to promote laboratory equipment rental services for the general public are still manual, by placing advertisements placed on the FPIK Walls, which are generally can be seen by students in the Faculty. Based on this condition, an application for leasing laboratory equipment was made in FPIK using Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 and PHP Mysql. With the existence of this application it can help each process of borrowing and returning laboratory equipment more effectively. Some features contained in this application include member registration, registration of loan forms, return forms, tool data, and transaction lists.

Abstract

Abstract: By leveraging digital technology, Laporkitong enhances transparency and accountability, as well as facilitates public participation in the oversight and enforcement processes related to land use and natural resource management. The Laporkitong website functions as an online reporting application aimed at documenting instances of spatial planning violations in the West Papua Province. The lack of public knowledge about the Laporkitong application has led to numerous issues. Therefore, an analysis of the adoption of the Laporkitong application is necessary. This study aims to investigate the influence of Perceived Quality, Perceived Control, and Perceived Ease of Use factors as determinants of the residents' willingness to use the Laporkitong application, employing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and DeLone and McLean IS Success (IS D&M) theories. As many as 160 valid respondents are gathered based purposive sampling technique and evaluated using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results inform that all seven hypotheses are accepted with the R-square of the intention to use is 0.273 indicationg 27.3% variance of the model can determine the outcome. Further discussion and conclusion regarding the implication of theoretical and practical contribution are also discussed.            Keywords: laporkitong; perceived control; perceived ease of use; perceived quality; technology acceptance model Abstrak: Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital, Laporkitong meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas, serta memfasilitasi partisipasi publik dalam proses pengawasan dan penegakan terkait penggunaan lahan dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Website Laporkitong berfungsi sebagai aplikasi pelaporan online yang bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan pelanggaran perencanaan tata ruang di Provinsi Papua Barat. Minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap aplikasi Laporkitong menyebabkan banyak permasalahan. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan analisis mengenai adopsi pada aplikasi Laporkitong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh faktor Kualitas yang Dirasakan, Kendali yang Dirasakan, dan Kemudahan Penggunaan yang Dirasakan sebagai penentu keinginan penduduk untuk menggunakan aplikasi Laporkitong, dengan menggunakan Model Penerimaan Teknologi (TAM) dan teori Kesuksesan Sistem Informasi (IS D&M) DeLone dan McLean. Sebanyak 160 responden valid dikumpulkan berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling dan dievaluasi menggunakan Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa semua tujuh hipotesis diterima dengan R-square niat untuk menggunakan adalah 0,273, menunjukkan bahwa 27,3% variasi model dapat menentukan hasilnya. Diskusi lebih lanjut dan kesimpulan mengenai implikasi kontribusi teoritis dan praktis juga dibahas. Kata kunci: laporkitong; pengendalian yang dirasakan; kemudahan penggunaan yang dirasakan; kualitas yang dirasakan; model penerimaan teknologi

Abstract

The education house service (LPMP) west Papua Manpkwari (LPMP) manokwari is essentially a manual, such as the filling in of guest for housing registration in the LPMP manokwari dorm room. So it took a long time to do the process of checking out the empty rooms if any guests were to stay in the dorms. Thus the auther created an application for west Papua dorm room service using fremwork cedeigniter 3.0. From testing of the application using the black box method, it suggests that it is helpful to LPMP manokwari papua barat,especially the registration departemen in providing services to guests who have come to perform room registrasion.

Abstract

The data management system in the Manokwari Coffee Community which is still manually becomes a reference for the creation of a title that can be submitted to lecturers. Data management is done by recording data from participants who want to take coffee classes from various places in Manokwari, as well as storing participant data in a book or paper and transferring it to Microsoft Word which still looks messy. In addition, data that is recorded and stored in books or paper is prone to being scattered or lost. As a consequence, members of the community find it difficult to find scattered or lost participant data. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to design a web -based online coffee class registration application to assist members of this community in managing participant data, the registration process, providing information about the classes held, and confirming registered participants. The author analyzes and designs applications that will be built using the Waterfall method. Furthermore, the application is built using the PHP programming language and Mysql Database Management System. With this application, the process of managing and storing data from participants who want to register for coffee classes at the Manokwari Coffee.

Abstract

The number of students who graduate on time is an important indicator that must be considered considering that it is included in the internal quality assurance standards of a university and can be useful for students themselves when entering the world of work. To predict the pass rate, data mining techniques can be used with a classification function where the algorithm examples are Naïve Bayes, kNN (K-Nearest Neighbor), C4.5, and SVM (Support Vector Machine). With so many algorithms that can be used, it is important to know which algorithm is the most effective in classifying data according to the case under study. So that in this study a comparison of classification algorithms in this case is Naïve Bayes and C4.5 and from the analysis process that has been carried out it can be concluded that the C4.5 algorithm is a more effective algorithm used to predict student graduation than Nave Bayes with accuracy values of 76,23%, precision of 50,00%, recall is 19,05%, error is 23,77% and AUC value is 0.669.

Abstract

The interest of the people in Indonesia towards the Kempo sport continues to increase.But in the campo training in Indonesia there are still many shortcomings felt by thetraining students, such as the names of techniques that are difficult to memorize, toomuch material, lack of clarity about the details of each movement, and lack of learningmedia. Based on this, an Introduction to the Android-Based Shorinji Kempo BasicTechnique Application was designed, named the Mobile Learning Kihon ShorinjiKempo. This application was made as a medium for learning alternative to learning.This application is made with Java programming language as the source engine andLanguages Markup Extension as an interface that runs on android smartphones. Theapplication was stated to be successfully built by providing information on basictechniques, through the questionnaire results conducted on 5 respondents of campstudents and 5 respondents of the general public, 54% of respondents agreed and 46%of respondents strongly agreed the Kihon Shorinji Kempo Mobile Learning applicationwas spread as media alternative learning basic techniques.

Abstract

Today the community has switched to digital media, this development has triggered thegeneral public to use something that is easy to use and can be accessed anywhere andanytime with a very high level of mobility. Mobile-based applications have become partof life even in the field of education today. Mathematics is a subject that is consideredcomplicated especially in remembering mathematical formulas so that an application isneeded that can help find mathematical formulas quickly. Purpose of making learningapplications android-based high school Mathematics formulas is to convertMathematical formula books into digital form so that they can be an alternative mediabesides printed books. Research applications are built using android studio, and usethe Java language that runs into XML as a display. This research was also conductedusing methods namely analysis, designing, implementation, and testing. The results ofthis study are the formation of an android-based high school level MathematicsFormula learning application. From the test results, 56% agree with the application thatwas made and can make learning activities more enjoyable because they are easy tounderstand.

Abstract

Conventional learning systems in general have difficulty in distributing teaching materials which certainly require costs, giving assignments to students that burden the teacher himself in the collection of assignments and the process of assessing assignments, subject matter whose storage security in memory/flashdisk is not guaranteed so that with the nextcloud storage media which is cloud storage and integrated with e-learning applications, has features that are in accordance with the learning environment and easy to use both teachers and students. The system will be built using Moodle on hosting with Nextcloud as a storage medium, then using the SDLC method as a system design so that this system is well integrated. With this application, the needs of students and teachers in online teaching and learning activities are answered by using every feature in e-learning with Nextcloud helping the performance of the e-learning system application.

Abstract

The development of information technology has so far advanced, and especially on smartphones, this makes smartphones a practical tool for learning media. Then an Android-Based Biak Language Dictionary Application was created. Preserving regional languages ​​is very necessary in the midst of very rapid technological developments, media dictionaries can be a solution for introducing the various regional languages ​​of Biak Numfor. The purpose of this research is to develop the Biak Regional Language Dictionary Application so that it can be managed properly by an administrator directly from the application. By utilizing the kodular tool, the Biak Regional Language Dictionary Application was developed with the results of the Biak Language Dictionary Application (KBB).
