Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant transformations in the transaction system, including the emergence of reward systems such as Shopee Coins. Shopee Coins are official virtual currencies given to Shopee application users through various promotional activities and transactions. This phenomenon is interesting to study from the perspective of sharia economics in order to assess its suitability with Islamic principles. This research is library research with a qualitative and normative approach, using primary data from the books Fiqih Muamalah by Subairi and Fiqih Muamalah Maliyah by Jaih and Hasanudin. Secondary data were also obtained from the results of interviews and analyzed to obtain descriptive conclusions. The results of the study show: first, the mechanism of obtaining Shopee Coins includes purchase transactions, participation in promotions and events, and the completion of certain missions. The system adopts gamification and loyalty to increase user engagement. Second, from the point of view of sharia economics, this system is permissible (halal) as long as it does not contain prohibited elements, such as riba, gharar (ambiguity), and maysir (gambling). Third, this system can be assessed in accordance with sharia if it is transparent and fair. Fourth, potential problems arise if there is speculation about rewards or unclear coin values. As an alternative solution, the reward system can be developed with akad ju'alah (promise of reward for a result) or tabarru' (grant) with sharia supervision, to ensure conformity with the principles of justice and ethics in Islamic muamalah.

Abstract

Mathematics education in Indonesia continues to face persistent challenges, particularly concerning student anxiety and engagement. While prior studies have extensively explored the math anxiety on academic performance, investigations at the higher education level remain limited. This study explores the relationship between math anxiety and learning interest, specifically focusing on gender differences among students in the Sharia Economics Program at STAI Sangatta, East Kutai. Adopting a quantitative approach, data were collected from 72 students via a digital questionnaire comprising 30 items measuring anxiety and 15 assessing interest in mathematics, all rated on a four-point Likert scale. The Pearson correlation analysis revealed a moderate but statistically insignificant positive correlation for male students (r = 0.431), and a strong, statistically significant positive correlation for female students (r = 0.750). These findings suggest that higher anxiety levels may be linked to increased motivation to learn mathematics among female students. This perspective challenges the conventional belief that academic anxiety is solely detrimental. The study emphasizes the need for integrated strategies that address both emotional and motivational aspects of learning. It advocates for gender-sensitive teaching methods and inclusive educational practices, particularly in disciplines like Sharia Economics, where mathematical proficiency is essential for academic and professional success.

Abstract

Elections are an important element of democracy. In fact, in many democratic theories, elections are an indicator for measuring the quality of democracy. If a country has carried out an election process well, transparently, fairly, regularly and continuously, then that country can be said to be a country with a good level of democracy, but on the contrary if a country does not carry out elections or is unable to carry out elections well which is characterized by the occurrence of various cheating, discrimination and manipulation then the country is also considered an anti-democratic country. In this case, the public is the main target in understanding elections peacefully, critically and transparently from the start in order to avoid fatal mistakes regarding the elections that will be held in 2024. This Election Discussion will be provided with various things from Bawaslu and the surrounding KPU, so that the public can discuss what people should do so that they are not swayed by cases of money politics which have many negative impacts on a country and will turn a country's government into corruption so that the nation's paradigm becomes damaged and away from good democracy. The PKM that we carry out is based on the emergence of many problems among the community that can attract attention as the election approaches. The method we use in this PKM is descriptive qualitative, where the results of this PKM will then be described. From the PKM that we have carried out, it can be found that there is an increase in understanding from the public, especially young people rather than older people, about how to carry out elections peacefully, critically and transparently in order to make this country a country that has a better democracy in the future through understanding from the KPU and Bawaslu.
