Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat salah satunya dapat diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan dakwah keagamaan dan bakti mahasiswa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang merupakan program kegiatan mahasiswa baru dalam rangka dahwah dan bakti mahasiswa di Pondok Pesantren Hubbul Wathon. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran awal kepada mahasiswa baru mengenai kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang merupakan bagian dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode Participatory Action Research, dimana penulis terlibat langsung dalam pelaksanaannya. Hasilnya adalah pendampingan kegiatan keagamaan dan bakti mahasiswa yang dilakukan dalam bentuk: pengajaran di TPA Hubbul Wathon, menjadi imam shalat dan mengisi kultum, serta olahraga dan pemberian sumbangan. Pendampingan dakwah keagamaan dan bakti mahasiswa di Pesantren Hubbul Wathon dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman mahasiswa baru dalam bidang keagamaan dengan bingkai kebersamaan. Selain itu juga menjadikan semangat mahasiswa baru untuk lebih memiliki peran sosial kemasyasrakatan kedepannya. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari semakin meningkatnya motivasi mahasiswa baru ini setelah selesai melalukan kegiatan dakwah dan bakti kemahasiswaan di Pesantren Hubbul Wathon tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of online-based new student admissions management in Islamic educational institutions. The problems identified include challenges in the new student admissions process, the effectiveness of the online system, and stakeholder perceptions of the use of technology in admissions management. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, involving in-depth interviews with admissions managers, administrative staff, and prospective students. The research results show that the online system has provided efficiency in the admission process, but still faces several technical obstacles and resistance from several stakeholders. In addition, it was found that technology-related training and effective communication could increase acceptance of the new system. In conclusion, online-based new student admissions management offers the potential to increase efficiency and accessibility, but requires appropriate adjustments and strong support from all relevant parties

Abstract

Elections are an important element of democracy. In fact, in many democratic theories, elections are an indicator for measuring the quality of democracy. If a country has carried out an election process well, transparently, fairly, regularly and continuously, then that country can be said to be a country with a good level of democracy, but on the contrary if a country does not carry out elections or is unable to carry out elections well which is characterized by the occurrence of various cheating, discrimination and manipulation then the country is also considered an anti-democratic country. In this case, the public is the main target in understanding elections peacefully, critically and transparently from the start in order to avoid fatal mistakes regarding the elections that will be held in 2024. This Election Discussion will be provided with various things from Bawaslu and the surrounding KPU, so that the public can discuss what people should do so that they are not swayed by cases of money politics which have many negative impacts on a country and will turn a country's government into corruption so that the nation's paradigm becomes damaged and away from good democracy. The PKM that we carry out is based on the emergence of many problems among the community that can attract attention as the election approaches. The method we use in this PKM is descriptive qualitative, where the results of this PKM will then be described. From the PKM that we have carried out, it can be found that there is an increase in understanding from the public, especially young people rather than older people, about how to carry out elections peacefully, critically and transparently in order to make this country a country that has a better democracy in the future through understanding from the KPU and Bawaslu.

Abstract

Penerapan Program Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) di sekolah bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila kepada siswa, guna membentuk karakter dan identitas nasional yang kuat. Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada pentingnya penguatan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pendidikan. Metodologi yang digunakan melibatkan pendekatan sistematis dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Selama pelaksanaan, metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek diterapkan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa. Media visual juga digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam memperkuat pemahaman siswa mengenai nilai-nilai Pancasila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program P5 di sekolah wilayah Sangatta Utara berhasil menumbuhkan kesadaran dan penghayatan siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila. Evaluasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam sikap dan perilaku siswa sehari-hari, yang mencerminkan karakter yang lebih religius dan berintegritas. Program ini memberikan model yang efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan Pancasila, sehingga dapat menciptakan generasi yang memiliki komitmen terhadap kebangsaan dan karakter yang kuat.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW 1447 H. The main objectives were to strengthen religious values, foster social character, and enhance the spirit of tolerance within the school environment. The two-day event involved collaboration among university students, teachers, students, and the local community. The implementation used a descriptive qualitative approach with participatory observation techniques to describe the process and outcomes of the activities in the field. The results indicate a significant increase in student participation, with more than 85% of students (approximately 620 participants) actively engaging in religious competitions, public lectures, and charitable programs. The involvement of university students in event management contributed to high implementation effectiveness, reflected in 95% on-time activity completion and an observed increase in student discipline among 78% of participants. The charity program successfully distributed 120 donation packages to students in need. Furthermore, the presence of non-Muslim students, who simultaneously fulfilled their own religious activities, demonstrated strengthened tolerance practices, with 92% of teachers reporting a more inclusive school atmosphere during the event. Overall, this PKM initiative effectively strengthened the school’s religious culture, enhanced social solidarity, and fostered tolerant attitudes among students. Thus, collaboration between higher education institutions and schools proves to be an effective strategy for cultivating Islamic values and building inclusive and civilized character education.
