Abstract

This study aims to analyze the empowerment of family self-employment in supporting sustainable entrepreneurship in Cemerlang Business Group, Geluran Village, Sidoarjo. Through a qualitative approach of FGDs and interviews, this research explores how families as independent business units can contribute to long-term economic stability, through sustainable practices, community involvement, and resilience in the face of economic challenges. The main results show that family entrepreneurs in Geluran have great potential in driving the local economy through the application of sustainable entrepreneurship models such as the Triple Bottom Line approach and circular economy. However, challenges in the diversity of family business structures emphasize the importance of specific and contextual approaches. This research concludes that empowering self-employed families is key in supporting sustainable economic growth, with policy recommendations that include access to financial resources, training, as well as relevant sustainability programs to strengthen family businesses. In this activity, the next empowerment hope can help in the aspects of marketing, packaging, funding, training, promotion and support from the government.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore sustainable entrepreneurship as a transformative paradigm that integrates economic growth with environmental and social responsibility. Specifically, it investigates the role of family self-employment in promoting sustainable economic development at the community level. Research Design and Methodology: This study employed a qualitative case study approach, collecting data through semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with family business owners in Geluran Village, Sidoarjo Regency, Indonesia. The Resource-Based View (RBV) theory guided the study in analyzing how internal family resources support sustainability. Findings and Discussion: The findings reveal that family self-employment strategically drives sustainable entrepreneurship by fostering resilience, long-term orientation, and ethical business practices. Family businesses are shown to implement sustainability models such as the Triple Bottom Line, circular economy principles, and collaborative networks. Despite their strengths, the heterogeneity of family businesses poses challenges for generalization, indicating the need for more context-specific studies. Implications: This research provides practical and policy-level implications by highlighting the potential of family-run enterprises to achieve inclusive and sustainable development. It suggests that targeted support through financial access, capacity-building, and sustainability programs is essential to enhance the contribution of family businesses to long-term economic and social well-being.

Abstract

Companies must keep improving themselves by increasing their resources to cope with severe competition. In order for a company to survive, it must be able to deal with problems from within and from outside. The study aims to investigate how transformational and transactional leadership styles affect employee performance. The study involved 50 employees of the Ni Made Tjandra Kasih Public Assessment Office in Surabaya. Fifty employees of Ni Made tjandra kasih public assessment office in Surabaya consisted of different levels of management, occupational responsibilities, gender, and educational backgrounds. The research found that transformational leadership and transactional leadership improved employee performance at the Ni Made Tjandra Kasih Surabaya Public Assessment Office, and that transformative leadership as well as transactional leadership also improved employees performance.

Abstract

Generally speaking, one of the most important factors in a company organization's success is staff management. Employee loyalty and persistence in a company are influenced by job satisfaction. Work satisfaction is strongly correlated with an individual's overall attitude toward his or her work, which is shaped by the company culture and work environment. The goal of this study is to determine how PPPPTK BOE Malang's organizational culture and work environment affect workers' job satisfaction. Using the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Technique, the study methodology is descriptive quantitative. Saturated sampling is the method used for sampling in this study. 35 employees in all were selected as respondents out of the overall population. hypothesis utilizing the simultaneous test of F and the partial test of t. The results of the F test (simultaneous) indicate that organizational culture and work environment jointly influence employee PPPPTK BOE Malang's job satisfaction, while the results of the t test demonstrate that organizational culture and work environment have positive and significant effects on job satisfaction. Based on the findings, researchers recommended that the agency enhance organizational culture for PPPPTK BOE Malang's advancement, pay greater attention to comfort, and strengthen the regulations and discipline of the workplace for PPPPTK BOE Malang.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1). Gaya kepemimpinan memberikan dampak terhadap kinerja hotel ashofa: (2). Gaya kepemimpinan memberikan dampak terhadap budaya organisasi hotel ashofa: (3). Gaya kepemimpinan memberikan dampak terhadap motivasi intrinsik hotel ashofa: (4). Budaya Organisasi memberikan dampak terhadap kinerja. (5). Motivasi intrisnik memberikan dampak terhadap kinerja hotel ashofa: (6). Gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi memberikan dampak terhadap kinerja dimediasi motivasi intrinsik. (7). Budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi intrinsik tidak memberikan dampak dihotel ashofa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi hubungan gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja yang dimediasi oleh motivasi intrinsik. populasi yang terlibat dalam studi ini adalah 50 pegawai hotel ashofa. Sampel terdiri dari 50 pegawai yang berasal dari Hotel Ashofa di Sidoarjo, yang memiliki berbagai tingkat manajerial, tanggung jawab di tempat kerja, jenis kelamin, serta riwayat pendidikan. Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan, Budaya Organisasi, Kinerja, Motivasi Intrinsik
