Abstract

Background: One of the public universities as the green campus that prioritizes reforestation to overcome environmental issues. All stakeholders including students are expected to behave pro-environmentally. This study aimed to explain whether or not there is an influence of knowledge, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, and attitude towards pro-environmental behavior (plastic waste) for university students. Methods: This research was conducted under a quantitative approach with 5 valid and reliable variables. In addition, regression tests and structural equation models are used. The respondents of this study were 399 university students from all faculties of Hasanuddin University. Results: Perceived Behavior Control has the greatest effect on pro-environmental behavior compared to other variables. However, environmental knowledge has the smallest effect on subjective norms, perceived behavior control, and attitude. Conclusion: All variables affect predict pro-environmental behavior.

Abstract

Adolescents are the next generation of the nation who will contribute greatly to the development of Indonesia’s human resources. The adolescent phase is an important stage to start forming a clear self-identity including in terms of future planning. However, adolescents often experience confusion regarding their future orientation, making it difficult to set goals and strategies to achieve the future. Although most of them have aspirations, it is less based on the ability to recognize themselves related to their strengths and weaknesses. According to the literature review, the reflective thinking method applied through reflection of experience is an important learning model. With this method, individuals can better recognize their potential based on the meaning of their past experiences. This training was conducted for two days on 24 - 25 May 2023 at SMA Negeri 11 Pangkaje'ne, with a total of 31 participants who were students of class XI. The results of this training show that the ability to think reflectively in interpreting experiences will help adolescents recognize their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their interests and talents. This can be a reference for them in setting future goals. A clear future direction can lead adolescents to set specific steps and strategies to achieve their goals. This will increase the chances for adolescents to get a decent job and have a career that suits their potential in the future.

Abstract

Riset preliminari tentang tingkat social loafing mahasiswa Universitas Hasanuddin di masa pandemi menunjukkan social loafing mahasiswa cenderung berada pada kategori sedang mengarah pada tinggi. Hal tersebut perlu mendapat perhatian lebih, mengingat cukup banyak agenda (kurikuler, ko-kurikuler, dan ekstra kurikuler) sebagai mahasiswa yang harus dilaksanakan melalui aktivitas kelompok. Social loafing yang tinggi pada anggota kelompok akan menyulitkan capaian kelompok. Ada beberapa faktor yang menentukan tingkat social loafing   pada   individu.   Salah   satunya   ialah   seberapa   berkualitas   individu   mempersepsikan   kohesivitas kelompoknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan besaran kontribusi persepsi kualitas kohesivitas kelompok terhadap  social  loafing  mahasiswa  Universitas  Hasanuddin  di  masa  pandemi. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Hasanuddin yang diambil dari 15 fakultas. Teknik yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengambilan sampel yaitu quota sampling dengan jumlah 300 sampel. Persepsi kualitas kohesivitas kelompok diukur dengan skala kohesivitas kelompok. Sementara itu, pengukuran derajat social loafing menggunakan skala social loafing. Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan teknik analisis regresi sederhana menggunakan program SPSS versi 22. Hasil analisis menunjukkan persepsi terhadap kualitas kohesivitas kelompok memprediksi social loafing mahasiswa Universitas Hasanuddin dengan sebesar 59,7%. Temuan penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kualitas kohesivitas kelompok dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap social loafing
