Abstract

Universitas ABC yogyakarta selalu melakukan evaluasi kinerja mahasiswa guna mengetahui pencapaian pada masing-masing mahasiswa.Mahasiswa yang melampaui masa studi dan tidak melakukan perpanjangan akan dikenakan sanki berupa dropout.Kasus dropout tersebut dapat diminimalisir dengan pendeteksian secara dini terhadap mahasiswa yang beresiko dropout. Pendeteksian dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan tumpukan data untuk memprediksi dropout mahasiswa. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi mahasiswa yang berpotensi dropout dengan masa studi maksimal yang harus diselesaikan pada jenjang Sarjana dengan mengimplementasikan Metode Backpropagation. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data akademik prodi S1 Informatika Universitas ABC pada tahun 2016-2019 denganjumlah dataset sebanyak 129.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur analisis prediksi dropoutdengan percobaan penggunaan beberapa arsitektur jaringan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari modelyang diusulkan yaitu model arsitektur 12-5-2 merupakan model arsitektur terbaik yangdidapatkan. Learning rate terbaik sebesar 0,4 dengan momentum terbaik sebesar 0,95. Akurasi yang diperoleh dari prediksi mahasiswa dropout dengan arsitektur, learning rate, dan momentum terbaik sebesar 98,2%.ABC University of Yogyakarta always evaluates student performance in order to find out the achievements of each student. Students who have exceeded the study period and not extended would be subject to sanctions in the form of a dropout. The dropout case can be minimized by early detection of students who are at risk of dropout. Detection can be done by utilizing a pile of data to predict student dropouts. In this study aims to predict students who have the potential to drop out with a maximum study period that must be completed at the Undergraduate level by implementing the Backpropagation Method. The data used in this study are academic data of S1 University Informatics Study Program of ABC University in 2016-2019 with the number of datasets as much as 129. The purpose of this study is to measure the dropout prediction analysis with the experiments of using several network architectures. The results obtained from the proposed model, namely architectural models 12-5-2, are the best architectural models obtained. The best learning rate is 0.4 with the best momentum of 0.95. The accuracy obtained from the prediction of dropout students is 98.2%.

Abstract

Saat ini Indonesia memasuki industri 4.0, dimana apapun berhubungan dengan teknologi. Pertukaran data dan informasi secara digital lebih efektif dan efisien sehingga memudahkan penggunanya. Tentunya data dan informasi ada yang dapat diakses publik dan ada yang bersifat rahasia. Saat terjadi pertukaran data, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa pencurian data dan manipulasi data oleh orang yang tidak berhak dapat terjadi. Peningkatan kemanan data dapat dilakukan dengan kriptografi dan steganografi. Pada penelitian ini, algoritma modifikasi hill cipher mod 36 dengan transposisi pergeseran, operasi xor dan transposisi yang dikombinasikan dengan penyisispan pesan kedalam gambar menggunakan LSB digunakan untuk mengamankan pesan teks. Hasil yang diperoleh dari modifikasi hill cipher mod 36 yang diusulkan yaitu dapat digunakan untuk mengenkripsi pesan dengan karakter a sampai z dan 0 sampai 9. Jumlah pesan sebesar 975 disispkan kedalam gambar berekstensi .jpg dengan hasil MSE sebesar  0,00498 dan PSNR sebesar 71,15.

Abstract

The main responsibilities of a lecturer is to transform, to develop and to transfer knowledge through teaching and learning process. Assessment by students for their lecturers to provide input for lecturers and study program quality is needed so that the teaching and learning process can be controlled and in accordance with the established quality standards. In carrying out the process of monitoring and evaluating on lecturer performance, the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Tamansiswa is currently using Google form to distribute questionnaires. This is considered ineffective and produces invalid data. Therefore, the use of technology can be a solution to this problem. The purpose of this research is to design a management information system model for monitoring and evaluating learning that can facilitate the software development stage. The design of this learning monitoring and evaluation processing system uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) model. While the software development method proposed by the author is Agile Software Development. The result of this research is a design model with UML in the form of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams, where the results of this design model can facilitate the next stage of software development. In addition, PIECES analysis is used to assist in identifying weaknesses in the current system to facilitate the mapping of system requirements. Needs mapping is used to identify the proposed new system, in which this proposed new system has 4 user levels, namely: administrator, GMP (Gugus Mutu Prodi), lecturers and students. Each user has its own authority in the proposed system.

Abstract

Traditional herbal drinks such as Wedang Uwuh which is a typical Yogyakarta regional drink made from various natural spices it has various benefits. Wedang Uwuh instant ​​is an innovative product from a traditional drink that is packaged in a modern way. Instant Wedang Uwuh is a product of creativity from Industrial Engineering students at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa, which is managed by lecturers and students. The manager of instant Wedang Uwuh, PT Sruput Jaya, is experiencing difficulties in stock management and estimating the amount of production required each month. The uncertain demand for instant Wedang Uwuh is an obstacle in determining the production quantity of Instant Wedang Uwuh. Currently, sellers can only see the increase in sales manually. This research aims to predict the level of production or sales of Instant Wedang Uwuh using the Monte Carlo simulation algorithm precisely and accurately. The results of Monte Carlo simulation testing for 12 months reached a prediction accuracy level of 96.40%. The tests carried out will become a reference for preparing instant Wedang Uwuh production for the next 12 months. Obtaining an accuracy rate of 96.40% in this Monte Carlo simulation can be recommended for determining the amount of Wedang Uwuh production in the first 12 months of the following year.

Abstract

Monitoring and evaluating the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Engineering, Tamansiswa Bachelor Wiyata University, the system that has been running has experienced many problems with the increasing number of active students and limited human resources. The evaluation of the learning questionnaire is filled out through the Google Form and the lecturer's data performance is processed using software such as Microsoft Office Excel or the like. In this study the aim was to produce a system that could support learning monitoring and evaluation activities in measuring the level of lecturer performance. The system is needed to process data as a tool to input and report on monitoring and evaluating lecturer performance. The method applied is the Multi Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) using four criteria, namely pedagogic, professional, personality and social competence. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the lecturer performance monitoring and evaluation system can provide decisions in the form of lecturer performance levels. The system can be used at several user levels, namely faculty academics, heads of study programs and Gugus Mutu Prodi (GMP) in assessing or measuring lecturer performance.

Abstract

In the current business activities characterized by technological integration, the role of salespeople remains crucial as the frontline in enhancing product sales. Due to their contribution, it is imperative for companies to evaluate their performance. This research proposes an evaluation model for salespersons using a multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach. Two MCDM methods, namely fuzzy AHP and EDAS, are employed to determine the weight of evaluation criteria and rank 13 salespersons in a grocery store situated in an Indonesian traditional market. This study considers seven criteria: revenue (C1), honesty (C2), communication skills (C3), empathy (C4), extensive relationships (C5), work motivation (C6), and responsibility and discipline (C7). Using fuzzy AHP, criteria C2, C6, and C3 are identified as the main priority. Subsequently, the criteria weights are integrated into the EDAS calculation to rank the 13 salespersons. Salesmen SP2, SP3, and SP6 emerge as the top performers. This research provides an applicable evaluation model for decision-makers in the store, enabling them to assess their salespeople not solely based on quantitative output but also considering other criteria that may have a lasting impact. Abstract

The current development of information technology has led to digital interactions which are often known as cyberspace. Cyberspace is a notional environment where communication via computer networks occurs, in this case via the Internet, which can be in the form of text, images, audio, video, animation or anything in digital form. The virtual world now has almost the same intensity as the real world. With recent technological advances making it possible to have more intensity than the real world in the future. This has created new problems in social life, especially among teenagers who are the biggest users of cyberspace. Many bad things happen in teenagers' interactions in cyberspace, such as cyber bullying, or accessing content that is not suitable for teenagers to consume. This certainly cannot be allowed. To be able to overcome this problem, the outreach team carried out cyber ethics outreach activities in building a digital literacy culture. The aim of this service activity is to help increase understanding of cyber ethics among SMK Bina Harapan students. The number of participants in the socialization was 63 students consisting of class X and class XI of SMK Bina Harapan. From this activity, an evaluation was carried out in the form of a post-test using a multiple choice questionnaire via Google Form. The questions are written in essay form consisting of two answers Yes or No. The results of the Google Form questionnaire show that 90% of Bina Harapan Vocational School students understand the cyber ethics socialization material. Thus, it can be concluded that after conducting socialization, it can help increase students' understanding of Bina Harapan Vocational School about the importance of cyber ethics in building a digital literacy culture, so that their digital literacy activities become safer and healthier.

Abstract

UD Matsu Jaya mandiri merupakan usaha dagang yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi tepung tapioka. Tepung tapioka didistribusikan ke berbagai wilayah yang potensial. Setiap tahunnya, UD Matsu Jaya Mandiri mempunyai target penjualan, sehingga penentuan wilayah pendistribusian yang tepat akan mempengaruhi target penjualan, namun hal tersebut masih menjadi kendala bagi pengambil keputusan pada UD Matsu Jaya MAndiri. Untuk itu perlu adanya sistem pendukung keputusan untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan dalam pemilihan pendistribusian tepung tapioka agar lebih tepat. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode promethee untuk mengembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan pendistribusian tepung tapioka pada UD Matsu Jaya Mandiri. Data penelitian bersumber dari UD Matsu Jaya Mandiri terkait penjualan pada tahun 2017. Alternatif yang digunakan adalah Surabaya (A1), Semarang (A2), Yogyakarta (A3) dan Jakarta (A4). Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 kriteria yaitu Harga, Ongkos Kirim, Jumlah Permintaan, Jumlah Suplier dan Pangsa pasar. Hasil yang diperolah yaitu sistem dapat membantu pengabil keputusan pada UD Matsu Jaya Mandiri dalam pendistribusian tepung tapioka dan perubahan bobot dan tipe preferensi akan mempengaruhi hasil perangkingan. Sistem pendukun keputusuan ini dapat membantu pihak UD Matsu Jaya Mandiri dalam mengambil keputusan dalam pemilihan pendistribusian tepung tapioka.

Abstract

Scheduling courses at each university is a complicated and complex job because there are many constraints and rules that must be considered. Scheduling is also crucial in the teaching and learning process because lecturer and student activities depend on the schedule that has been prepared. General problems that need to be considered when scheduling are the possibility that the lecturer will teach more than one course and the possibility that the number of courses and lecturers is not balanced. The preparation of class schedules at the Universitas Sarajanawiyata Tamansiswa, Faculty of Engineering is still done manually using excel so that the process of preparing the schedule takes a long time so it is less effective. This study aims to design a modeling system for optimizing course scheduling at the UST Faculty of Engineering with a Genetic algorithm in order to facilitate the development of a scheduling and optimize the time for preparing course schedules system. The data used is secondary data in the form of course scheduling data at the UST Faculty of Engineering even semester of the 2022/2023. The final result of this research is the scheduling optimization system modeling at the UST Faculty of Engineering. System process modeling is carried out using UML (Unified Modeling Language) which consists of 3 diagrams, namely Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Class Diagrams while modeling the analysis of data storage using ERD (Entity Relation Diagrams). In this study, 4 hard constraints and 3 soft constraints were applied which were the limitations in processing scheduling with genetic algorithms.

Abstract

The use of information technology can support business people in supporting their business processes. Wedang uwuh instan which is a form of creativity for Industrial Engineering students at the Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa that managed by PT Sruput Jaya which is a socially and profit-oriented student business unit. The current marketing reach is still offline and in the surrounding environment. The target consumer has not been given the maximum information platform regarding Wedhang Uwuh Instan products so consumer interest is lacking. Therefore it is necessary to make an application to support business processes at PT Sruput Jaya as a portal for online marketing and ordering. The development of such system technology cannot be separated from the development of a database that is used as a place for managing and using data in a running information system. Database development can be done using the DBSDLC (Database System Development Lifecycle) method. There are 3 processes in database design using the DBSDLC method, namely Conceptual Schema Design, Logical Design, and Physical Design. The results of this study are in the form of a business process support system design model at PT Sruput Jaya in the form of marketing applications and instant wedang uwuh online ordering. This model will support further system development.
