Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon dari kultur invitro pada meristem bawang merah yang didapat dari tiga varietas Bauji, Thailand, Bima Brebes, pada empat media inisiasi. Penelitian ini diselesaikan di Laboratorium Bioteknologi Kultur Jaringan PT. BISI International Tbk. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap, dengan menggunakan 3 ulangan dan 12 perlakuan. Penghitungan data yang digunakan dalam pengamatan ini adalah ANOVA, dengan uji lanjut BNJ. Penelitian ini mengamati respon pertumbuhan tinggi dari hasil kultur meristem bawang merah. Penambahan arang aktif pada media MS mampu menghasilkan tingkat pertumbuhan yang lebih baik pada usia 18 hst (Bauji 17,03 mm, Bima Brebes 24,7 mm, Thailand 19.03 mm), dan diakhir pengamatan 21 hst (Bauji 17,97 mm, Bima Brebes 26,33 mm, Thailand 29,43 mm) dibandingkan media kontrol MS tanpa arang aktif pada usia 18 hst (Bauji 11,47 mm, Bima Brebes 13,30 mm, Thailand 8,37 mm) dan usia 21 hst (Bauji 12,90 mm, Bima Brebes 14,03 mm, Thailand 12,27 mm), pada media ½ MS penambahan arang aktif juga memberikan pertumbuhan eksplan yang lebih baik pada usia 18 hst (Bauji 15,87 mm, Bima Brebes 19,27 mm, Thailand 20,23 mm) dan usia 21 hst (Bauji 18,97 mm, Bima Brebes 20,77 mm, Thailand 22,80 mm) dibandingkan ½ MS tanpa arang aktif pada usia 18 hst (Bauji 8,37 mm, Bima Brebes 11,77 mm, Thailand 12 mm) dan usia 21 hst (Bauji 11,47 mm, Bima Brebes 13,23 mm, Thailand 14 mm).

Abstract

Siomak is a type of lettuce plant that has a slightly different leaf shape from lettuce plants in general. This research aims to determine the interaction between planting media treatment and rabbit urine fertilizer concentration on the growth and yield of siomak plants. This research was carried out from April to May 2022 in Rejomulyo Village, Kras District, Kediri Regency, East Java Province. This research used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors. The first factor is the planting medium (M), while the second factor is the concentration of rabbit urine fertilizer (K). The results of this research show that the M2K4 treatment combination (planting media ratio 2:1:3 + 40 ml/L urine fertilizer) is the treatment combination with the best results in the observation variables of number of leaves and wet weight per plant. The combination of M2K2 treatment (planting media ratio 2:1:3 +20 ml/L urine fertilizer) is the combination with the best results in increasing the root length of siomak plants. The single treatment of M2 planting media (planting media ratio 2:1:3) showed better results than the results of treatment M1 (planting media ratio 2:1:2) significantly in the observation variables of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area and root volume. . K4 treatment (urine fertilizer 40 ml/L) is the most effective and efficient concentration in increasing plant height and leaf area growth. The results of observing the root volume of the K5 treatment (50 ml/L urine fertilizer) showed the best results.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of scarification, the effect of gibberellin soaking and to determine the interaction of the two treatments. The research was carried out on Jl. Diponegoro, Kayen Kidul, Kediri. With a height of 86 M above sea level. The research was carried out from July to October 2024. The research used a factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of 2 treatment factors with 8 treatment combinations and repeated 4 times. The first factor, scarification (F), consists of 2 types, F1 = Control (no treatment) and F2 = seed scarification. The second treatment factor, Gibberellin (G) consists of 4 levels, G1 = gibberellin 0 ppm, G2 = Gibberellin 20 ppm, G3 = Gibberellin 40 ppm and G4 = Gibberellin 40 ppm The parameters observed are the initial vegtative growth of melon, plant height (cm), and number of leaves (strands). The results of the research showed that there was an interaction between scarification treatment and gibberellin soaking on the parameters for observing plant height and number of leaves with the best treatment being F1G3.

Abstract

Produksi pertanian dapat meningkat dengan bercocok tanam. Teknik budidaya terung efektif menggunakan pupuk yang efisien dapat meningkatkan produksi terung. Penelitian mempunyai tujuan menganalisa interaksi penggunaan pupuk kandang kambing dan NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung. Riset menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk kandang kambing (P) ada tiga level, yaitu 360gr/tanaman, 720gr/tanaman, dan 1080gr/tanaman. Faktor kedua yaitu NPK Mutiara (N) terdiri tiga level, yaitu 10gr/tanaman, 20gr/tanaman, 30gr/tanaman sehingga diperoleh 9 kombinasi perlakuan. Data pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan Anova. Hasil analisa data disimpulkan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun terjadi interaksi pada 35 hari setelah tanam, hasil tertinggi diperoleh perlakuan P3N2 yaitu tinggi tanaman 62,73cm dan jumlah daun 7 helai pada dosis pupuk kandang kambing 1080 gr/tanaman dengan pupuk NPK mutiara 20 gr/tanaman. Pada pengukuran berat buah, panjang buah, jumlah buah tidak terjadi interaksi, berpengaruh nyata pada perlakuan tunggal dengan rata rata berat tertinggi 157,9 gram, panjang buah tertinggi 20,28 Cm dan jumlah buah terbanyak dengan rata-rata 2,2 buah/ tanaman pada pemberian pupuk kandang kambing 1080 gram/tanaman.

Abstract

Breeding lines in crop improvement represent selected genotypes with potential to be developed into superior cultivars. This study aimed to evaluate the genetic variability, adaptability, and yield stability of promising cucumber lines under mid-altitude conditions. The experiment was conducted from December 2024 to February 2025 at the PT. Aditya Sentana Agro experimental farm, Girimoyo Village, Malang, East Java, at an altitude of 525 m above sea level. A randomized complete block design (RCBD) was applied with three cucumber breeding lines and four commercial check varieties, namely New Oris F1, Renata F1, Madavi F1, and Zatavy F1. Each treatment was replicated four times with six plants per plot. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% significance level when significant differences were detected. The results revealed significant variation in several traits, including days to flowering, fruit length, fruit weight per plant, and yield, while no significant variation was observed in harvesting time, fruit diameter, fruit weight per fruit, and number of fruits per plant. The earliest flowering was observed in Line C (26.25 DAS), although it was later than the check variety Madavi (25.26 DAS). The longest fruit length was obtained from Line A (23.05 cm), surpassing both other lines and check varieties. Line A also produced the highest fruit weight per plant (1354.42 g), yet it remained lower than Zatavy (1421.92 g). Similarly, the highest yield was recorded in Line A (31.31 t ha⁻¹), although still below Zatavy (32.87 t ha⁻¹).
