Abstract

The purpose of implementing community service is to socialize the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness to increase public awareness regarding the impact of an unclean environment and provide an overview of waste management and directly clean the environment. The method for realizing community service activities is "Socialization of the Importance of Maintaining Environmental Cleanliness in Kongok Hamlet, Meninting Village, Batu Layar District, West Lombok Regency" through: 1) Formation of a team or collaboration between lecturers, KKN students and the Meninting village government. 2) Implementation of socialization activities on the beach at the estuary affected by waste, and 3) Environmental cleaning The socialization activity went well and was attended by the Meninting village community, especially the Kongok hamlet. The team consisted of lecturers, KKN students, the Meninting village government and involved youth and the community as participants in the socialization and environmental cleaning. The socialization was said to be successful because the community was directly involved in the agreed cleaning process scheduled once a week. Keeping the environment clean is the obligation of all parties, because the impact of waste will harm all parties, for example, a nest of disease and discomfort to see, or an unpleasant smell, so there needs to be routine cleaning activities and waste processing in every village. Abstract

The goal in this service is to increase youth cohesiveness by reforming the management of youth organizations. The youth organization is the Change Pioneers Association (P4) of Bagik Manis Village, Sambelia sub-district, East Lombok Regency, NTB. Methods of implementation include preparation, implementation of management reforms and mentoring. The results of the dedication to organizational management reform were carried out through preparation for 2 months, namely February 2023 to April 2023, then the formation or election of new management was carried out on April 20 2023 through deliberations and voting. The mentoring process in the near future from April 2023 to July 2023 has resulted in the formation of a complete organizational structure, preparation of work programs, ratification of the organization by the Village, visits to the DPRD and meetings to discuss community issues

Abstract

One natural food whose presence is very important in aquatic ecosystems is phytoplankton. Nannochloropsis sp. is one of the microalgae that was developed as a natural food source. The nutritional content of Nannochloropsis sp. quite high where the protein content reaches 52.11%, carbohydrates 16%, fat 27.64%, vitamin C 0.85%, and chlorophyll-a 0.89%. As microalgae that grow through the process of photosynthesis, light is an important substance in their growth. This research used the experimental method Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Includes 4 treatments and 4 repetitions to obtain 16 experimental units. Treatment P1 uses red light, P2 uses yellow light, P3 uses blue light, and P4 uses white light. The data measured in this study were: nannocloropsis density, relative growth and self-doubling time. P1 gave the best results with an average density of 143,250 cells/mL, relative growth of 51.20%, and self-doubling time of 55 hours. Based on the results of the analysis of variance or ANOVA test, this research shows that differences in the color of light have a significant effect on population density and relative growth of Nannocloropsis sp. but it has no real effect on the self-doubling time. Furthermore, the results of water quality measurements such as temperature ranged between 27-29 ̊C, pH 8-8.2, DO 4.3-4.5, and salinity 35-37 ppt.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan atas dasar adanya harapan dari Kelompok Pemuda Maju Bersama (KPMB) untuk dapat meningkatkan keuntungan dari produksi ikan nila yang dibudidayakan dengan sistem bioflok. Saat ini harga per kilogram penjualan ikan segar utuh rata-rata Rp.25.000. Keuntungannya berkisar antara Rp.1.000.000—Rp.1.500.000 per siklus/kolam (23%—36% dari biaya operasional). Tingkat keuntungan ini tergolong relatif kecil jika dibandingkan dengan agroindustri nila filet di Kabupaten Mesuji mencapai 83,06% (nilai tambah Rp 10.264 per kg). Mendasarkan pada kondisi permasalahan KPMB seperti diuraikan di atas, maka Fakultas Perikanan, Universitas 45 Mataram membantu memberikan alternatif untuk pemecahan masalahnya melalui kegiatan PkM, dengan tujuan: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra sasaran tentang cara mempertahankan mutu dan kehigienisan ikan; (2) meningkatkan keterampilan tentang teknik produksi, pengemasan, dan penyimpanan/pembekuan ikan nila filet; dan (3) memfasilitasi pembentukan jejaring pasar produk ikan nila filet. Kegiatan PkM ini melibatkan 9 (sembilan) orang anggota KPMB, dan 2 (dua) orang mahasiswa Fakultas Perikanan Universitas 45 Mataram. PkM ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan, yaitu: kunjungan dan sosialisasi ke lokasi usaha mitra sasaran, pelatihan teknis (pemiletan, pengemasan, penyimpanan) ikan nila filet, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hasil dari seluruh rangkaian kegiatan PkM tersebut yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta secara komprehensif tentang teknik penanganan ikan dalam mempertahankan mutunya, teknik pemiletan ikan, teknik pengemasan menggunakan vacuum dan sealer, teknik penyimpanan ikan nila filet, sampai dengan terbentuknya jejaring pasar yang bersedia mendistribusikan produk ikan nila filet tersebut ke konsumen.
