Abstract

Pakan merupakan faktor yang memegang peranan penting dalam kegiatan budidaya ikan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase penggunaan eceng gondok yang optimal dalam pakan buatan terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan nila. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 3 ulangan dan 3 perlakuan.Masing–masing perlakuan ditambahkan eceng gondok 10% (P1), 20% (P2), dan 30% (P3). Benih ikan nila memiliki kisaran berat 0,82-0,91 gram dan kisaran panjang 3,5-4 cm yang ditebar dalam akuarium (40x40x40) cm dengan jumlah benih yang ditebar sebanyak 15 ekor Ikan uji di beri pakan sebanyak 3% dari bobot biomasa dengan frekuensi pemberian tiga kali sehari, yaitu pukul 08:00, 02:00 dan 17:00 WITA. Pengaruh perlakuan pada penelitian ini menujukkan hasil yang berbeda nyata (P>0,5 terhadap berat mutlak, laju pertumbuhan berat harian, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, dan laju pertumbuhan panjang harian. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan P1 dengan pertambahan berat mutlak 0,81±0.04 gr, laju pertumbuhan berat harian 0.65±0.03 %, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 1 cm ±0.05, dan laju pertumbuhan panjang harian 0.23±0.01.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find measurable how big growth of catfish obtained in units of weight ( gram ) length (m) of fish, through several parameters that is the main parameters and support parameters. The method used at this study is “experiment” method that is a research method by holding some unit test activities to view a result which indicates of the position and relationship confirms between observed variables or be explored by taking to steps perform experiments, data collection, processing and analysis of data, make conclusions and reports. The results showed that highest growth rate produced by cruciferous Sangkuriang><Masamo the amount of 727,5 gram or amount of 1036,7% with the daily growth rate average weight 8,10%/day, which have an average length 12,25 cm/tail or 104,11% with growth rate of the average daily length 2,38/day. While, growth in the average weight of the lowest produced by cruciferous Sangkuriang><Phyton the amount of 618,25 gram or 866,05% with the daily growth rate average weight 7,56 %/day which have an average length the amount of 11,5 cm/tail or 91,65 % with a growth rate of average daily length 2,17%/day

Abstract

Lemuru (Sardinella lemuru) merupakan salah satu ikan pelagis kecil yang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di Pulau Lombok, tidak hanya dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan skala rumah tangga, namun juga dijadikan sebagai salah satu bahan baku pada skala industri. Keadaan tersebut menyebabkan tingginya tingkat pemanfaatan ikan lemuru di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Teluk Awang merupakan salah satu sentra penangkapan lemuru di provinsi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kondisi populasi dan status keberlanjutan perikanan lemuru di Teluk Awang berdasarkan kondisi biologi perikanannya. Pengambilan sampel ikan lemuru dilakukan di Teluk Awang selama bulan Juli-Augustus tahun 2022. Sampel ikan (n=306 ekor) diukur panjang dan beratnya. Dari hasil pengamatan diketahui bahwa populasi ikan lemuru memiliki pola pertumbuhan alometrik negatif yang artinya bentuk tubuhnya kurus. Populasi ikan tersebut didominasi lemuru muda dengan ukuran kisaran panjang cagak 6,40-16,20 cm dan berat 3,0-39,0 g. Lemuru yang layak maturasi sebanyak 30%, layak tangkap 30%, dan layak konsumsi 37%. Nilai parameter kelayakan yang berkisar di bawah 50% mengindikasikan bahwa kegiatan perikanan lemuru selama bulan Juli-Agustus dapat dikatakan kurang berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu informasi dasar bagi pemerintah daerah setempat dalam menyusun kebijakan pengelolaan perikanan lemuru di Provinsi NTB.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of salinity on the growth of vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were P1 (salinity 20 ppt), P2 (salinity 25 ppt), P3 (salinity 30 ppt), P4 (salinity 35 ppt). Young adult vaname shrimp are spread in a tub with a density of 2 4 tails . The parameters observed were absolute weight, specific growth rate, absolute length, life span, and water quality.The results showed that the difference in salinity affected the growth of vaname shrimp (F count> F table). At 35 ppt salinity gave the highest yield on the absolute weight growth of vaname shrimp of 4.30 g, specific growth rate of 2.35% day- 1 , absolute length 4.10 cm, and survival of 97%. Water quality that is suitable for the maintenance of vaname shrimp is temperature 31 ℃, DO 5 ppm and pH 7

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the most effective and efficient feeding frequency so that it can influence the growth of Sangkuriang catfish fry. This type of research is experimental research using analysis of variance (ANASRA). This research was carried out at the Batu Kumbung Fish Seed Center (BBI), Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency. The results of analysis of variance regarding the effect of feeding silk worms with different feeding frequencies on the growth of Sangkuriang catfish seeds showed very significantly different results where F count > F table 1% (26 > 8.02). Further test results using the least significant difference test (BNT) showed that there was a significant difference between P1 and P2 (0.072 > BNT 0.0715), significantly different between treatments P1 and P3 (0.161 < BNT 0.0715) and significantly different between P2 and P3 (0.089 > BNT 0.0715)

Abstract

Intention of this research is to know influence of is amount of comparis on of masculine and female mains to efficacy in spaw of comet fish (Carassius auratus) and to know best comparison in spaw of comet fish (Carassius auratus). Method Research the used  is  experiment  method  through  to with refer to attempt of device. From result of research of usage of comparison two masculine mains and one female mains tail give result of larva which at most that is mean 1.805,63 tail with Hatching Rate ( HR) 87,99% , While most of sedikt there are at usage of comparison one masculine mains and one female mains yield slimmer that is mean 1.267,39 tail with  Hatching Rate ( HR) 72,38%

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of water hyacinyh fermented with different raw materials: Trichoderma sp., Rhizopus sp., Lactobacillus sp., on the growth of tilapia seeds. This study was designed Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments and 3 replications, namely: P1 (Control), P2 (Tretment of water hyachinth fermented with Trichoderma sp.), P3 (Tretment of water hyachinth fermented with Rhizopus sp.), P4 (Tretment of water hyachinth fermented with Lactobacillus sp.). Tilapia seeds have a weight range of 1.35-2.58 grams and a length range of 4.57-5.16 cm which is stocked in a 47-liter aquarium with a stocking density of 15 birds per experiment container. The test fish was fed as much as 5% of the biomass weight with the frequency of administration three times a day, namely 08:00, 02:00 and 17:00 WIB. The results showed the treatment gave different results on growth in absolute wieight, growth in daily weight, growth in absolute length, growth in daily length, feed conversion ratio, and survival rate. The best treatment occurred at P3 with their respective weight values of 2.659 grams, 0.089 grams, 1.685 cm, 0.056 cm, 2.385%, and 84.444%.

Abstract

One natural food whose presence is very important in aquatic ecosystems is phytoplankton. Nannochloropsis sp. is one of the microalgae that was developed as a natural food source. The nutritional content of Nannochloropsis sp. quite high where the protein content reaches 52.11%, carbohydrates 16%, fat 27.64%, vitamin C 0.85%, and chlorophyll-a 0.89%. As microalgae that grow through the process of photosynthesis, light is an important substance in their growth. This research used the experimental method Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Includes 4 treatments and 4 repetitions to obtain 16 experimental units. Treatment P1 uses red light, P2 uses yellow light, P3 uses blue light, and P4 uses white light. The data measured in this study were: nannocloropsis density, relative growth and self-doubling time. P1 gave the best results with an average density of 143,250 cells/mL, relative growth of 51.20%, and self-doubling time of 55 hours. Based on the results of the analysis of variance or ANOVA test, this research shows that differences in the color of light have a significant effect on population density and relative growth of Nannocloropsis sp. but it has no real effect on the self-doubling time. Furthermore, the results of water quality measurements such as temperature ranged between 27-29 ̊C, pH 8-8.2, DO 4.3-4.5, and salinity 35-37 ppt.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPantai mapak memiliki potensi yang sangat besar baik dari segi pariwisata maupun perikanan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masayarakat nelayan di pesisir pantai mapak berdasarkan potensi hasil tangkapan ikan dengan melaksananakan kegiatan pelatihan diversifikasi hasil perikanan melalui pembuatan mie berbahan ikan tongkol. Rendahnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman              masyarakat terkait keterampilan pengolahan hasil tangkapan yang keuntungannya relatif lebih besar dibanding menjual ikan dalam bentuk segar dengan harga yang naik turun sesuai dengan permintaan pasar. Mie dongkol merupakan produk mie siap saji yang berbahan dasar ikan tongkol yang dapat dijadikan sebagai peluang usaha untuk meningkatkan pendapatan. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu dengan observasi, penyuluhan, demonstrasi dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan yaitu masyarakat mampu mengolah ikan hasil tangkapan menjadi produk mie siap saji dan dapat melakukan pengemasan secara higienis dengan penyajian yang menarik sehingga meningkatkan pendapatan dari masyarakat. Kata kunci: mie; ikan tongkol; pantai mapak ABSTRACTMapak Beach has enormous potential, both in terms of tourism and fishing. This service activity aims to improve the economy of fishing communities on the coast of Mapak based on the potential of fish catches by carrying out training activities on fishery product diversification through making noodles made from tuna. The public's knowledge and understanding are low regarding skills in processing catches, the profits of which are relatively greater than selling fish in fresh form with prices that fluctuate according to market demand. Dongkol noodles are a ready-to-eat noodle product made from tuna that can be used as a business opportunity to increase income. The implementation methods used in this activity are observation, counseling, demonstration, and evaluation. The results of the community service activities that have been carried out are that the community is able to process the fish they catch into ready-to-eat noodle products and can package them hygienically with an attractive presentation, thereby increasing community income. Keywords: noodles; mackarel tuna; mapak beach

Abstract

Abstrak Masyarakat pesisir Kuranji Bangsal, memiliki hasil tangkapan ikan yang melimpah, terutama jenis ikan pelagis. Biasanya masyarakat menjadikan hasil tangkapan sebagai produk perikanan olahan kering seperti ikan kering. Metode pengeringanyang digunakan masih menggunakan teknik tradisional dengan diletakkan di atas jaring ikan, tikar, lantai semen, atau anyaman bambu dan dijemur di bawah sinar matahari. Metode ini kurang higienis dan menyebabkan penurunan berat produk kering karena tertelan oleh serangga, burung, kucing, dan hewan lainnya. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk membantu nelayan meningkatkan kesejahteraan dalam memanfaatkan SumberDaya Ikan menggunakan teknologi sederhana, murah, dan ramah lingkungan secara higienis dan berkelanjutan serta melihat hasil performa dari Alat Pengering Ikan Tenaga Surya (API-GaYa). Kegiatan ini sudah melewati Uji Coba dengan dua tahap, tahap pertama pembuatan API-GaYa skala kecil, tahap kedua Uji coba pengeringan Ikan menggunakan alat tersebut. Penggunaan API-GaYa terbukti efektif dalam mengeringkan ikan, menghasilkan ikan kering dengan kadar air yang rendah dan kualitas yang terjaga. Proses pengeringan menunjukkan penyusutan berat yang signifikan, dengan ikan selar mengalami penurunan berat sebesar 82,1% dan ikan lemuru sebesar 72%. API-GaYa dirancang untuk memastikan proses pengeringan yang higienis dan berkelanjutan, menggunakan tenaga surya sebagai sumber energi utama. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan API-GaYa membawa dampak positif bagi masyarakat pesisir, meningkatkan produktivitas dan kualitas produk perikanan, serta kesejahteraan ekonomi nelayan. Untuk memastikan keberlanjutan penggunaan API-GaYa, disarankan adanya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi nelayan, pengembangan teknologi lebih lanjut, dukungan dari pemerintah dan swasta, diversifikasi produk perikanan, serta peningkatan upaya promosi dan pemasaran. Kata kunci:: API-GaYa; ikan asin; rendemen; tepat guna; SDI Abstract The coastal community of Kuranji Bangsal has abundant fish catches, especially pelagic fish. Typically, the community processes their catches into dried fish products. The drying methods used are still traditional, involving placing fish on nets, mats, cement floors, or bamboo weaves and sun-drying them. This method is less hygienic and leads to weight loss of the dried products due to insects, birds, cats, and other animals. The aim of this Community Service (PKM) activity is to help fishermen improve their welfare by utilizing fish resources using simple, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly technology in a hygienic and sustainable manner, as well as to evaluate the performance of the Solar Fish Dryer (API-GaYa). This activity has gone through two stages of trials: the first stage involved the creation of a small-scale API-GaYa, and the second stage involved the trial of drying fish using this tool. The use of API-GaYa has proven to be effective in drying fish, producing dried fish with low moisture content and maintained quality. The drying process shows significant weight reduction, with selar fish experiencing a weight loss of 82.1% and lemuru fish 72%. API-GaYa is designed to ensure a hygienic and sustainable drying process, using solar energy as the primary energy source. The results of this activity indicate that the use of API-GaYa has a positive impact on the coastal community, increasing productivity and quality of fishery products, as well as the economic welfare of fishermen. To ensure the sustainability of API-GaYa usage, it is recommended to have continuous training for fishermen, further technological development, support from the government and private sector, diversification of fishery products, and increased efforts in promotion and marketing. Keywords: API-GaYa; dried fish; yield; appropriate technology; fish resources (SDI)
