Abstract

This research originated from the author's desire to know about the level of physical fitness of the students of SD Negeri 01 Enam Lingkung with SD Negeri 07 Sintoga, Padang Pariaman Regency. The purpose of this study was to get a real picture of how the level of physical fitness of each school student and at the same time to see the comparison of the physical fitness level of students of SD Negeri 01 Enam Lingkung with SD Negeri 07 Sintoga, Padang Pariaman Regency. This type of research is Ex Post Facto. The population was all students of SD Negeri 01 Enam Lingkung with SD Negeri 07 Sintoga, Padang Pariaman Regency, which amounted to 375 students. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique, thus the number of samples was 63 male students. Data were analyzed using the T-test data analysis technique. From the results of the data analysis, it shows that there are differences in the physical fitness level of male students in SD Negeri 01 Enam Lingkung and SD Negeri 07 Sintoga, it is obtained tcount = 3.57 and ttable = 1.00. And the physical fitness level of SD Negeri 07 Sintoga students was better, because it was found that the mean (average value) of SD Negeri 07 students was 10.97 greater than the mean (average value) of students at SD Negeri 01 Enam Lingkung which was 10

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information as well as describe the motivation of students in scouting activities at the 20 Padang Selatan Middle School for the 2017/2018 academic year, with a sample of 30 students of class VII and VIII who actively participate in scouting activities. The research classification is descriptive using the survey method. Data collected through a questionnaire were analyzed with descriptive statistics of frequency tabulation in the form of percentages. The results of research findings in the field are as follows; (1) Intrinsically, students with very high motivation were found to be 6.67%, high 53.33%, medium 20%, low 13.33%, and very low 6.67%. (2) Extrinsically, students with very high motivation were found to be 16.67%, 66.67% high, 10% moderate, 6.67% low, and very low 0.00%. Thus, the conclusion from the findings of this study is that both intrinsically and extrinsically, students have high motivation in scouting activities. For this reason, it is recommended that the teachers / coaches of scouting activities in Junior High School 20 Padang Selatan be professional in increasing activities so as to give birth to a generation that is accomplished, creative and sporty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of direct learning models on the mastery of basic techniques of sepaktakraw students majoring in sports education at the Faculty of Sport Science, Padang State University (FIK UNP). The method of this research is quasi-experimental research with the independent variable direct learning model and the dependent variable is the basic technical ability of sepaktakraw students majoring in sports education FIK UNP. The population in the study were students of FIK UNP. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the direct learning model on the mastery of basic techniques of sepaktakraw students of FIK UNP sports education with a t count of 14.473> t table 2.31 (df 8) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The average pretest score of 13.11 increased at the time of the post test to be 21.11 with an increase of 8 scores (61.02%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini diharapkan bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh keseimbangan terhadap kemampuan bermain sepaktakraw mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Padang. Dimana setelah itu diharapkan tujuan luaran dari penelitian ini dapat dipublikasikan pada jurnal Sport Science Universitas Negeri Padang tahun 2017 dan jurnal nasional, dan juga digunakan sebagai tambahan pada bahan ajar pada mata kuliah Sepaktakraw. Kontribusi penelitian ini juga diharapkan berguna bagi pengembangan pembelajaran sepaktakraw pada khususnya untuk mahasiswa FIK yang aktif melakukan olahraga dan masyarakat pada umumnya.Selain itu, penelitian ini berguna untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemahaman dan kontribusi antara keseimbangan terhadap kemampuan bermain sepaktakraw.Dan juga diharapkan dapat menambah khasanah ilmu pengetahuan khususnya dalam bidang olahraga pendidikan dan prestasi.Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Rancangan penelitian dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode tes untuk pengambilan data langsung.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Padang.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan yang mengambil mata kuliah sepaktakraw pada semester Juli-Desember 2016, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Untuk mendapatkan data keseimbangan maka digunakan tes keseimbangan dan data kemampuan bermain sepaktakraw dengan tes teknik dasar sepaktakraw.

Abstract

UNESCO reports that the implementation of PAUD in Indonesia places great importance on academic content such as writing, arithmetic and reading and provides very little opportunity to actively play physically with children. Research shows that physical activity of children at an early age will greatly trigger the development of cognitive abilities. Based on observations and studies in the field, it was found that almost all teachers and educators in PAUD Sijunjung district did not have the insight and skills in measuring and evaluating the basic movements of children. Based on research, basic motion cannot develop naturally but must be taught correctly and continuously. This community service activity for partners aims to: (a) find out the importance of basic motion, (b) have skills in practicing basic early childhood movements, (c) be able to use instruments to measure basic movement skills in early childhood. The method used uses the principle that every innovation received by PAUD teachers through PIE (Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation). This means that the delivery of innovations to Partners is carried out through the stages of explanation, discussion, practice as well as the evaluation phase with assistance in the learning process. The results of the training obtained by partners as participants can be described as follows: (a) Having insight and understanding of the importance of basic movement skills, (b) having experience in practicing basic motion skills, (c) knowing and having the ability to use basic motion skills test instruments.

Abstract

Some of the results of studies that have been conducted on basic early Indonesian fundamental motor skills children, especially in West Sumatra, are found to be at the lowest level. Observations made on several teachers in West Sumatra show that on average they have very limited insight into fundamental motor skills and how to arrange fundamental motor skills. Previous research states that fundamental motor skills cannot develop by themselves, but through continuous learning and training stages. Therefore, PAUD teachers are expected to be skilled in compiling children's fundamental motor skills so that the objectives of early childhood education can be achieved as they should. This service activity aims to: (a) PAUD / TK teachers understand what fundamental motor skills are. (b) PAUD / TK teachers can understand fundamental motor skills. (c) PAUD / TK teachers can understand how to use the TGMD-2 instrument (d) PAUD / TK teachers can understand how to evaluate fundamental motor skills.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya keterampilan sepaktakraw serta masih belum ditemukannya metode pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sepaktakraw pada atlet UKO UNP Padang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) melihat pengaruh penggunaan metode konvensional terhadap peningkatan keterampilan sepaktakraw pada atlet UKO UNP Padang, (2) melihat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran (audio-visual) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan sepaktakraw pada atlet UKO UNP Padang, (3) melihat perbedaan pengaruh antara metode konvensional dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran (audio-visual) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan sepaktakraw pada atlet UKO UNP Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah atlet sepaktakraw UKO UNP Padang yang berjumlah 26 orang, terdiri dari 16 orang putra dan 10 orang putri. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan menetapkan atlet putra sebanyak 16 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrument tes : (a) tes menimang bola, (b) tes passing, dan (c) tes service. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik uji t dependent sample, dan uji t independent sample. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dan pembahsan dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan peningkatan keterampilan sepaktakraw dengan metode konvensional, (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan peningkatan keterampilan sepaktakraw dengan metode pembelajaran (audio-visual), (3) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan sepaktakraw antara kelompok latihan metode konvensional dengan kelompok metode pembelajaran (audio-visual). Dimana kelompok latihan metode pembelajaran (audio-visual) lebih efektif dalam peningkatan keterampilan sepaktakraw atlet UKO UNP Padang. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, dapat direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sepaktakraw disarankan dagar melakukan latihan dengan metode pembelajaran (audio-visual) ikarena terbukti efektif digunakan dalam peningkatan keterampilan sepaktakraw.
