Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and motivation on the lecturer performance at private universities in Makassar. The research conducted on the lecturer of faculty of economics at three private universities in Makassar South Sulawesi by using mail survey and sending 150 questionnaires to the respondents. Sampling technique used in this study is random sampling. Data were collected at 101 and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis result showed that job satisfaction gives positive impact and significant on the performance of private university lecturers in Makassar, and motivation gives positive impact and significant on the performance of private university lecturers in Makassar. The results of multiple regression analysis showed motivation and job satisfaction simultaneously have positive and significant impact on the performance of private university lecturers in Makassar.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of training on employee performance at PT.Cipta Sejati Revolution. This research was conducted at PT Cipta Sejati Revolution which operates in the field of outsourcing labor distribution located in the city of Makassar. The population of this research is the entire number of employees who work at PT.Cipta Sejati Revolution, totaling 30 employees. So, the researcher took the entire population to be used as a sample, namely 30 people. This research design uses quantitative methods to determine the relationship between two variables, namely training (x) and employee performance (y) using SPSS consisting of the Spearman Rank correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and t test results. From the research results it was found that training (X) had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Cipta Sejati Revolution.

Abstract

Effective leadership style and work discipline are crucial factors influencing employee performance, yet limited studies have explored their combined impact within the transportation sector. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Perum DAMRI in Makassar. A quantitative research method with a descriptive approach was employed. The population consisted of all employees of PT. Perum DAMRI Makassar, with a sample selected using a specific sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents and analyzed using correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination (R²), and T-test to determine the significance of the independent variables' influence on the dependent variable. The findings indicate that both leadership style and work discipline significantly affect employee performance. This suggests that effective leadership and high work discipline contribute to increased productivity and work quality among employees at PT. Perum DAMRI Makassar. These results highlight the importance of fostering strong leadership and maintaining strict work discipline to enhance overall organizational performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant influence of employee welfare on employee morale at the Sauan Sibarrung Tana Toraja Credit Union. The population in this research is employees who work at the Sauan Sibarrung Tana Toraja Credit Union. The number of samples in this study was 18 people from the entire population. Sampling was carried out by providing written statements or questions to respondents who worked at the Sauan Sibarrung Tana Toraja Credit Union so that they could be answered. The data analysis used is Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination (r2), and t test. The research results show that the welfare provided significantly influences employee morale. Keywords: Employee Welfare, Word Morale

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Menggunakan data primer dan sekunder yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner kepada 57 pegawai, penelitian ini menemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan dan kuat antara gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif dan kinerja pegawai. Koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,673 menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat, sementara koefisien determinasi sebesar 45,2% mengindikasikan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berperan besar dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Uji t juga menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan secara statistik, mempertegas bahwa penerapan gaya kepemimpinan ini berkontribusi positif terhadap produktivitas kerja. Temuan ini mendukung teori kepemimpinan situasional, yang menyatakan bahwa efektivitas kepemimpinan bergantung pada penyesuaian gaya dengan kompetensi dan kesiapan pegawai. Dengan memberikan kesempatan kepada pegawai untuk berpartisipasi dalam pengambilan keputusan, gaya kepemimpinan ini mendorong rasa tanggung jawab, kolaborasi, dan meningkatkan kinerja. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar pemimpin di Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan terus mengembangkan gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif guna mencapai tujuan organisasi secara lebih optimal. Kata kunci :  Pengaruh, Gaya Kepemimpinan, dan Kinerja Pegawai.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training on the quality of employee work at the Class I TPI Makassar Immigration Office. Training is an important factor in developing human resource competency, especially in improving public services. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Spearman Rank correlation coefficient analysis method, determination coefficient, and t-test. The results of the study indicate that training has a very strong influence on work quality with a correlation value of 0.956 and a determination value of 0.910, which means that 91% of the variation in work quality is influenced by training. The t-test shows a calculated t value of 13.793> t table 2.101, with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, which indicates a statistically significant effect. Based on these findings, training has been shown to provide a real contribution in improving self-potential, optimal work results, work processes, and employee enthusiasm. Thus, structured and relevant training is an effective strategy in improving the quality of immigration employee work.
