Abstract

This study aims to find out what factors influence the interest of Indonesian Christian University Paulus Indonesia Department of Management students in 2018 and 2019 to become entrepreneurs. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. Sources of data used in this study is primary and secondary data with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, documentation and observation or direct observation of the respondents obtained and then analyzed into a conclusion from the research process. From the results of this study it can be concluded that there are several factors that influence student interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The impact of training on employee performance remains a critical area of research, particularly in financial institutions. However, limited studies have specifically analyzed this relationship within savings and loan cooperatives. This study aims to examine the effect of training on employee performance at the Balo’ta Savings and Loans Cooperative. The research involved 34 employees as samples, selected through written statements provided to respondents. The study applied quantitative analysis using correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, and T-test to assess the relationship between training and employee performance. The findings revealed that training significantly enhances employee performance, indicating that well-structured training programs contribute to increased efficiency and effectiveness in the workplace. These results highlight the importance of continuous employee development to improve organizational performance. This study reinforces the need for cooperatives to invest in systematic training programs to optimize employee potential and ensure sustainable growth.

Abstract

Effective leadership style and work discipline are crucial factors influencing employee performance, yet limited studies have explored their combined impact within the transportation sector. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Perum DAMRI in Makassar. A quantitative research method with a descriptive approach was employed. The population consisted of all employees of PT. Perum DAMRI Makassar, with a sample selected using a specific sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents and analyzed using correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination (R²), and T-test to determine the significance of the independent variables' influence on the dependent variable. The findings indicate that both leadership style and work discipline significantly affect employee performance. This suggests that effective leadership and high work discipline contribute to increased productivity and work quality among employees at PT. Perum DAMRI Makassar. These results highlight the importance of fostering strong leadership and maintaining strict work discipline to enhance overall organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of bonus giving on employee performance in the Balo' Toraja savings and loan cooperative. The population in this study is employees who work at the Balo' Toraja Savings and Loan Cooperative. The number of samples in this study is 34 samples. Sampling was carried out by providing a written statement to the respondents to the employees of the Balo' Toraja Savings and Loan Cooperative. The data analysis used was the correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and T test. The results showed that the results obtained from the correlation coefficient of pearson product moment. The results were obtained that there was a relationship or correlation between variables X and Y, and the type of relationship between variables X and Y was quite influential with a value of 108. While the results obtained from the value of the Coefficient of Determination (r-Square) in the bonus endogenous variable is 0.307, this shows that all independent variables simultaneously have an influence of 30.7% on Performance (dependent/bound variable), the remaining 69.3% is influenced by other variables that were not tested in the study. So the conclusion that there is a significant influence between bonuses and performance on KSP BALO' TORAJA because Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, in other words, bonuses have a significant influence on the performance of karayawan.

Abstract

The ability to read the Qur'an of students in Islamic universities is still a Employee turnover is a common phenomenon in the business world, especially in the retail sector. High turnover rates can have a negative impact on operational efficiency, recruitment costs, and employee motivation. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence employee turnover at Toko Top Mode, Makassar. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and literature studies conducted in January 2025. Research informants consisted of managers and employees in various divisions. The results of the study indicate that employee turnover at Toko Top Mode is influenced by several main factors, namely lack of career development opportunities, less supportive work environment, uncompetitive compensation and benefits, and imbalance between work and personal life. These factors cause job dissatisfaction, which encourages employees to seek opportunities elsewhere. These findings are expected to provide insight for management in developing better human resource policies to reduce turnover rates and increase workforce stability in the retail industry.

Abstract

Employee performance is one of the main indicators of a company's success. At PT. Semen Tonasa, which is a leading company in cement production in Indonesia, employee performance is greatly influenced by two main factors: leadership and work culture. The work culture at PT. Semen Tonasa includes elements of collaboration, but there are also challenges in terms of effective communication between teams. The impact of a culture that supports collaboration can enhance innovation, but communication barriers can lead to misunderstandings and conflicts within the team. There are fluctuations in employee performance, where some periods show significant performance improvement, while in other periods performance declines. Factors such as changes in leadership or working conditions can contribute to performance fluctuations. Leadership has a significant impact on employee performance at PT. Semen Tonasa. Work culture has a significant impact on employee performance at PT. Semen Tonasa. The research method used is quantitative research and employs multiple linear regression analysis, determinant analysis, and t-test. The research results show that the variables of leadership and work culture simultaneously affect the variable of employee performance. Leadership and work culture significantly affect employee performance. This can be proven through field research, which shows that, on average, all research variables receive positive responses.

Abstract

Study This aiming For analyze influence recruitment to performance employees at PT. Toarco Jaya North Toraja. In the dynamics competition the coffee industry is growing competitive , effective recruitment strategies become crucial For to obtain source Power quality human beings . Approach quantitative used in study This with involving 30 respondents employee as total sampling. Data is collected through questionnaire and analyzed using the Pearson correlation test , the coefficient determination , and partial t-test . The results of the study show that recruitment influential significant to performance employees , with mark coefficient correlation of 0.402 (p = 0.028) and the coefficient determination by 16.1%. The t-test shows t- value count of 2.321 > t- table (2.048), which strengthens significance influence recruitment to performance . Findings This confirm that the recruitment process is structured , fair and transparent can increase quality work and commitment employees . Implications practical from study This is importance evaluation and development sustainable to system recruitment in frame push productivity organization in a way comprehensive .

Abstract

Study This aiming For analyze influence leadership transformational to performance employees at PT. Toarco Jaya in North Toraja. Leadership transformational rated capable to form motivation , loyalty , and participation employee through ideal influence , motivation inspirational , stimulating intellectual , as well as individual attention . The research method used is quantitative descriptive with approach survey against 30 respondents . Data analysis techniques include Pearson correlation coefficient determination , and t-test. Research results show that leadership transformational own connection positive and significant to performance employee with mark correlation of 0.736 and the contribution influence of 54.1%. The t - value of 5.746 > t- table 2.048 with significance 0.000 < 0.05, confirms that variable leadership transformational influential significant to performance employees . Findings This show that inspiring and empowering leadership​ own role important in create environment Work productive . Abstract

Study This aiming For analyze influence use technology information to productivity employees at Perum DAMRI Makassar. The method used is approach quantitative with distribution questionnaire to 30 employees as respondents . Data analysis was carried out through Pearson correlation test , the coefficient determination , and t-test. Research results show that there is connection positive and significant between use technology information and productivity employee with mark coefficient correlation of 0.588. The coefficient of determination by 34.6% indicates that use technology information donate influence to productivity employees , while the rest influenced by other outside factors research . The t-test shows t - value (3.849) > t- table (2.048), which strengthens that influence the significant in a way statistics . Findings This show importance implementation technology information optimally for​ increase efficiency work , output quality , and performance employee in a way overall . Therefore that , investment in training digital technology and infrastructure become important strategies for organization For increase productivity source Power man.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation on employee satisfaction at PT. Bank Sulselbar Antang Branch Office. The research method used is a quantitative approach with Spearman Rank correlation analysis techniques, coefficient of determination (R²), and t-test. The research sample consisted of 17 employees selected using the census technique. The results of the analysis show that compensation has a significant effect on employee satisfaction, where salary, benefits, incentives, and bonuses are the main factors that increase job satisfaction. These findings indicate that a fair and competitive compensation system contributes to increasing employee motivation and loyalty. Thus, companies need to strengthen compensation policies to improve employee welfare and overall organizational productivity.
