Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the work-life balance in improving the performance of employees of PT Putra Celebes Utama Mandiri. The purpose of this study was to determine the purpose of work-life balance at PT. Putra Celebes Utama Mandiri. organize and adjust between life and work balance at PT. Putra Celebes Utama Mandiri. The research method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The number of research informants was 3 employee informants. The research location is at PT Putra Celebes Utama Mandiri. In connection with the results of in-depth interviews that the better the work-life balance that employees have, the performance of employees will increase to be able to achieve good quality.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education cannot be done partially, but must be comprehensive and sustainable. This research aimed to investigate engine lecturers’ achievement for academic quality improvement at Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Makassar. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study research type and descriptive using primary and secondary data from ten informants in the engineering study program. The research results show that the achievement of lecturers significantly impacts the enhancement of academic quality. Those are essential components of the education and teaching process, contributing to research and scientific advancement. Lecturer achievement include teaching effectiveness, research output, and contribution to the academic community. Hence, a lecturer must perform at their best to generate professional and high-quality outcomes. The academic excellence achieved by lecturers is evident in the quality of graduates and the success of alumni, which indicates the education's quality. In conclusion that lecturers' accomplishments have a substantial influence on improving academic quality through teaching methods, research and scientific progress, teaching efficiency, research outcomes, and involvement in the academic achievement that is demonstrated through the quality of graduates.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of bonus giving on employee performance in the Balo' Toraja savings and loan cooperative. The population in this study is employees who work at the Balo' Toraja Savings and Loan Cooperative. The number of samples in this study is 34 samples. Sampling was carried out by providing a written statement to the respondents to the employees of the Balo' Toraja Savings and Loan Cooperative. The data analysis used was the correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and T test. The results showed that the results obtained from the correlation coefficient of pearson product moment. The results were obtained that there was a relationship or correlation between variables X and Y, and the type of relationship between variables X and Y was quite influential with a value of 108. While the results obtained from the value of the Coefficient of Determination (r-Square) in the bonus endogenous variable is 0.307, this shows that all independent variables simultaneously have an influence of 30.7% on Performance (dependent/bound variable), the remaining 69.3% is influenced by other variables that were not tested in the study. So the conclusion that there is a significant influence between bonuses and performance on KSP BALO' TORAJA because Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, in other words, bonuses have a significant influence on the performance of karayawan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance at PT. Parangloe Indah. Compensation is measured through bonus and motivation variables, while employee performance is measured based on the work achieved by the employee. The method used in this study is quantitative analysis with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT. Parangloe Indah. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient test, the determination coefficient test (r-Square), and the t-test to test the hypothesis proposed. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between compensation, especially in the form of bonuses, and employee performance. In addition, the results of the determination coefficient test showed that the motivation variable had a simultaneous influence on performance. Based on the results of the t-test, compensation has been proven to have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Parangloe Indah. Thus, it can be concluded that increased compensation can contribute to improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence of leaders on employee performance at PT. Parangloe Indah. Emotional intelligence is measured through self-control, motivation and empathy. While employee performance is measured based on work quality, punctuality and teamwork. The method used in this study is quantitative analysis with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT. Parangloe Indah. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Spearman correlation coefficient test, the determination coefficient test (r-Square), and the t-test to test the proposed hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence, especially in the form of self-control, and employee performance. In addition, the results of the determination coefficient test indicate that the emotional intelligence variable has a significant effect on employee performance, based on the results of the t-test, emotional intelligence is proven to have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Parangloe Indah. Thus, it can be concluded that being able to control oneself will have a good impact on employee performance.

Abstract

This study examines the significant impact of training on the quality of woven products at the Kelompok Usaha Kada Situru’ in Desa Balla, Kabupaten Mamasa. The population in this study consists of members working at the Kelompok Usaha Tenun Kada Situru’ in Desa Balla, Kabupaten Mamasa. The sample size in this study is 44 respondents. Sampling was done by providing written statements or questions to respondents working at Kelompok Usaha Tenun Kada Situru’ in Desa Balla, Kabupaten Mamasa, to be answered. The data analysis methods used in this study include correlation coefficient analysis (r), coefficient of determination (r²), and the t-test. The results show that the training provided significantly influences the improvement of the quality of woven products, with a positive relationship between the intensity of training and the quality of the products produced by the business group members. These findings are expected to contribute to developing more effective training programs and policies to improve the quality of woven products and support the sustainability and competitiveness of woven products in the local market. Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant influence of employee welfare on employee morale at the Sauan Sibarrung Tana Toraja Credit Union. The population in this research is employees who work at the Sauan Sibarrung Tana Toraja Credit Union. The number of samples in this study was 18 people from the entire population. Sampling was carried out by providing written statements or questions to respondents who worked at the Sauan Sibarrung Tana Toraja Credit Union so that they could be answered. The data analysis used is Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination (r2), and t test. Abstract

The ability to read the Qur'an of students in Islamic universities is still a Employee turnover is a common phenomenon in the business world, especially in the retail sector. High turnover rates can have a negative impact on operational efficiency, recruitment costs, and employee motivation. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence employee turnover at Toko Top Mode, Makassar. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and literature studies conducted in January 2025. Research informants consisted of managers and employees in various divisions. The results of the study indicate that employee turnover at Toko Top Mode is influenced by several main factors, namely lack of career development opportunities, less supportive work environment, uncompetitive compensation and benefits, and imbalance between work and personal life. These factors cause job dissatisfaction, which encourages employees to seek opportunities elsewhere. These findings are expected to provide insight for management in developing better human resource policies to reduce turnover rates and increase workforce stability in the retail industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Menggunakan data primer dan sekunder yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner kepada 57 pegawai, penelitian ini menemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan dan kuat antara gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif dan kinerja pegawai. Koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,673 menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat, sementara koefisien determinasi sebesar 45,2% mengindikasikan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berperan besar dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Uji t juga menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan secara statistik, mempertegas bahwa penerapan gaya kepemimpinan ini berkontribusi positif terhadap produktivitas kerja. Temuan ini mendukung teori kepemimpinan situasional, yang menyatakan bahwa efektivitas kepemimpinan bergantung pada penyesuaian gaya dengan kompetensi dan kesiapan pegawai. Dengan memberikan kesempatan kepada pegawai untuk berpartisipasi dalam pengambilan keputusan, gaya kepemimpinan ini mendorong rasa tanggung jawab, kolaborasi, dan meningkatkan kinerja. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar pemimpin di Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan terus mengembangkan gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif guna mencapai tujuan organisasi secara lebih optimal. Kata kunci :  Pengaruh, Gaya Kepemimpinan, dan Kinerja Pegawai.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training on the quality of employee work at the Class I TPI Makassar Immigration Office. Training is an important factor in developing human resource competency, especially in improving public services. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Spearman Rank correlation coefficient analysis method, determination coefficient, and t-test. The results of the study indicate that training has a very strong influence on work quality with a correlation value of 0.956 and a determination value of 0.910, which means that 91% of the variation in work quality is influenced by training. The t-test shows a calculated t value of 13.793> t table 2.101, with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, which indicates a statistically significant effect. Based on these findings, training has been shown to provide a real contribution in improving self-potential, optimal work results, work processes, and employee enthusiasm. Thus, structured and relevant training is an effective strategy in improving the quality of immigration employee work.
