Abstract

The security of the computer network, especially the internet, is very crucial to note. One of the most effective ways to secure a computer network is to use a firewall. However, making a firewall that is still manual will make it difficult for network administrators to secure their computer network. The automatic detection of attacks on the firewall will further enhance the security of the computer network. Prediction or detection of attacks on the firewall automatically and intelligently can use the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm by measuring the distance of data similarity using Cosine Similarity. The results of this study managed to achieve a high accuracy, which is 99.71%, precision is 74.70% and recall is 74.85% of predicting traffic that goes to the firewall. The results can be used as a standard of accuracy in predicting the traffic leading to the firewall, or even create an additional firewall so that the security of computer networks, especially the user data is saved.

Abstract

There is one teaching module unit for reading skills in explanatory texts for Grade 5 at State Elementary School. The teaching module was developed using the project-based learning model. The teaching module has been used for a long time by grade 5 teachers of State Elementary School. A good teaching module must have four eligibility requirements, including presentation eligibility. This study aims to describe the results of teacher assessments of the presentation eligibility of the teaching module for writing skills in explanatory texts, developed using Project-Based Learning for grade 5 students at State Elementary School. This research was conducted during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at State Elementary School. The method used in this study is a descriptive-quantitative approach. The subjects of the study were three senior class teachers of Budiasih State Elementary School. Data on teacher assessments of the presentation eligibility of the teaching module for writing skills in explanatory texts, developed using Project-Based Learning for grade 5 at State Elementary School, were collected using a closed questionnaire with four options that were arranged systematically and objectively, ensuring content validity. The four options in this questionnaire are a simplification of the Likert scale. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical procedures using a tabulation system. The results of the study showed that the teacher's assessment of the feasibility of presenting the teaching module for developing writing explanatory text skills using Project-Based Learning for grade 5 students at State Elementary School was categorized as good.

Abstract

The availability of adequate blood supplies continues to pose a significant challenge for blood transfusion services such as the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), particularly due to the fluctuating and uneven nature of demand across various blood groups. Incorrectly estimating blood demand can result in either critical shortages that jeopardize patient safety or an excess of supplies that are wasted due to the limited shelf life of blood. The objective of this research is to examine historical blood demand data in Grobogan Regency by applying the K-Means clustering algorithm to identify trends related to time intervals and blood group classifications. The study draws on secondary data involving blood requests across multiple blood groups over a span of several years. By implementing the K-Means method, the research identifies unique trends in demand, highlighting critical periods between 2013–2016 and 2022–2024, during which nearly all blood types showed elevated levels of demand. These insights are crucial for improving blood stock management, refining donor mobilization strategies, and enhancing distribution planning based on empirical patterns. The K-Means algorithm proves effective in handling extensive and continuous numerical data, offering valuable guidance for strategic decision-making in healthcare logistics.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengajarkan demokrasi dan pemilu kepada anak muda dengan cara inovasi dan interaktif, menggunakan aplikasi mobile SmartVote. Dalam rangka partisipasi pemilih yang masih rendah dan serta kurangnya pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai demokrasi, program ini diharapkan menjadi solusi edukatif yang lebih menghibur dan berakses mudah. Kegiatan dalam bentuk workshop yang menargetkan siswa-siswi dari tingkat SMA/SMK sebagai audiens utama. Metode pelaksanaan berupa presentasi materi, demonstrasi aplikasi, simulasi pemilu digital, tanya jawab, dan diskusi kelompok. Aplikasi SmartVote dirancang sebagai game edukatif yang menyajikan simulasi pemilu seperti kampanye, pencoblosan, dan penghitungan suara, yang dikemas dalam bentuk interaktif berbasis skenario. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa para peserta antusias mengikuti workshop dan lebih memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar demokrasi serta tahapan pemilu yang sangat signifikan. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test, serta kuesioner kepuasan peserta. Berdasarkan data evaluasi, SmartVote menunjukkan 87% peserta memuat demokrasi yang lebih menarik.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a strategic necessity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the printing sector which demands speed, flexibility, and personalized services. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the esprint.store platform as a web-based eCommerce solution integrated with WhatsApp API and a dynamic pricing system. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining Google Analytics data, a System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire from 120 respondents, and system architecture observation. The results indicate a 35% increase in sales conversion and a reduction in customer response time from 24 hours to 15 minutes. These findings suggest that digitalization through a simple yet functional system can enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction within the MSME.
