Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di Kampung Adat Desa Kuala Gasib Kecamatan Koto Gasib Kabupaten Siak pada hari Jum’at 04 November – 6 November 2022. Kegiatan ini mengiktsertakan Sejumlah Dosen Jurusan Pemikiran Politik Islam dari UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dosen serta sosialisasi tentang penerapan demokrasi lokal di kampung adat serta sebagai langkah untuk mempromosikan Jurusan Pemikiran Politik Islam ke luar kampus. This research describes the nature of science and knowledge in the study of the philosophy of science. Philosophy of science involves search and exploration in the development of philosophical concepts about knowledge. Scientific knowledge manifests itself through various interrelated dimensions. Philosophy is a human thinking activity that aims to find the causes of everything and to understand how humans act after gaining this knowledge. This research uses the Library Research method. Literature study is a study used to collect information and data. The results of scientific research are knowledge that is rational, systematic, comprehensive, consistent and general. Knowledge, on the other hand, is the totality of all knowledge that is not yet well organized, both in metaphysical and physical terms. Knowledge tends to be general information based on experience and habits, without specific methods and mechanisms.

engenalan konsep model smart village, diyakini dapat menjadi referensi penting bagi pemerintah Nagari Pasilihan untuk terus berbenah mencapai level indeks desa membangun mandiri. Smart village salah satuya adalah konsep smart government, pemerintahan yang unggul dan baik. Hal yang akan dilakukan disini adalah memberikan pelatihan pelayanan administrasi publik kepada perangkat Nagari Pasilihan Kabupaten Solok, hal ini diharapkan dapat menjadikan nagari pasilihan sebagai nagari yang mempunyai kualitas pelayanan yang baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah PAR PAR (Participation Action Research), PAR adalah sebuah penelitian tindakan yang mengusung sebuah pemikiran keterkaitan perubahan yang ada pada masyarakat dengan penelitian. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan di Nagari Pasilihan Kecamatan X Koto Diatas Kabupaten Solok Provinsi Sumatera Barat pada hari Sabtu Tanggal 26 Agustus sampai dengan tanggal 23 September 2023. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak 26 orang yang terdiri dari 5 orang Dosen yang yang berasal dari dosen Konsorsium Keilmuan Pemikiran Politik Islam UIN Mahmud Batusangkar, 4 orang mahasiswa , 4 orang perangkat desa dan pemuka masyarakat dan 8 orang masyarakat Nagari Pasilihan Kecamatan X Koto Diatas Kabupaten Solok.

This research is motivated by the importance of political education among students (santri) of the Jabal Rahmah Anau Kadok Talang Islamic Boarding School. The aim of political education at this boarding school is to shape the character of the students, enabling them to become citizens with ethical and polite political behavior, as well as a deep understanding of political issues. Although there is no specific curriculum for teaching political education, it is integrated through subjects such as Civic Education (PPKN), the activities of the Student Executive Board (BES), discussions, democratic culture practices, and the study of the Prophet's biography (Siroh Nabawiyah). This research employs a qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews. The objective is to analyze how political education at the Jabal Rahmah Islamic Boarding School shapes the political perspectives and thought patterns of the students, as well as the role of the school leaders in forming the students' political understanding. The research findings indicate that political education at this boarding school focuses on knowledge transfer, consciousness-raising, political identity, and organizational skills development. Through democratic spaces within the Student Council (OSIS) and lectures, the students acquire an understanding of positive political values. The students are also engaged in organizational activities that allow them to develop leadership skills. The political education at this boarding school successfully shapes good behavior, teaches ethical and wise political conduct, and equips the students to respond to political issues. The conclusion drawn from this research is that political education at the Jabal Rahmah Islamic Boarding School effectively molds the character and political understanding of the students. By employing an approach that involves various aspects of knowledge, orientation, behavior, and political action, the political education at this boarding school is capable of producing students who are aware of their rights and responsibilities as citizens, possess political ethics, and can approach political issues wisely. This research provides fresh insights into how political education can shape the character and political perspectives of students, and have an impact on their involvement in political and social life in Indonesia..

Abstrak Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) Tahun 2024 sudah selesai dilaksanakan. Pesta demokrasi yang menyedot perhatian dari seluruh masyarakat ini telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 Februari 2024 yang lalu. Lembaga yang dibentuk untuk melaksanakan pengawasan pada pemilu adalah Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum atau yang kita singkat dengan nama Bawaslu. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017, Bawaslu merupakan hakim yang tidak hanya berperan sebagai pengawas tetapi juga memutus perkara yang tugasnya mengawasi penyelenggaraan pemilu dan menetapkan standar persiapan pemilu. Salah satu bentuk pengawasan yang dilakukan Bawaslu adalah membentuk kampung pengawasan. Melalui program kampung pengawasan partisipatif ini diharapkan adanya kerja sama dan partisipasi dari seluruh pihak dan elemen masayarakat serta seluruh lembaga stakeholder untuk ikut mengawasi dan mengawal pemilu serentak 2024 demi terwujudnya pemilu jujur dan adil di Kabupaten Tanah Datar dan meningkatkan penguatan demokrasi di tingkat lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Bawaslu telah melaksanakan pengawasan namun dibutuhkan partisipasi masyarakat yang lebih baik dalam meningkatkan pengawasan salah satunya melalui kampung pengawasan.Kata Kunci: Partisipasi masyarakat, Bawaslu, Demokrasi Lokal

This study describes the dynamics of the policy of transferring former PNPM to Village Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa). This transfer is based on Government Regulation No. 11 of 2021 concerning the BUM Desa. This research was conducted in the former PNPM Sungai Tarab District. The purpose of this study is to examine how this transformation took shape and what were the obstacles faced by UPK DAPM Lenggogeni, who was a former PNPM, in transforming into a Joint Village-Owned Enterprise (BUM Desa bersama). The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Interviews were conducted with the Head of DAPM Lenggogeni, Sungai Tarab District, Secretary of Nagari, Head of Sungai Tarab Sub-District and Head of Community Empowerment Division of Tanah Datar DPMD. The results obtained are that looking at aspects of policy implementation by Edward III in the form of non-smooth communication between the former PNPM managers and the PMD PPKB service due to firm refusal from the manager became a dynamic in itself. Then for the aspect of human resources there is a shortage of personnel from the agency, as well as financial resources that must be taken from the ex-PNPM managing fund assets, making it difficult for the PMD PPKB agency to continue the transformation phase. The disposition of the agency is quite clear even though some SOP instructions have not been provided, as well as aspects of fragmentation that have not been developed between village institutions. This made it difficult to form an established organizational structure as a result of the implementation of the transformation of the former PNPM into BUM Desa bersama. None of the four stages of transformation have been carried out, so it is feared that in the remaining two months or so this policy cannot be implemented in Sungai Tarab District.

The rapid development of information and communication technology has expanded opportunities for governments to promote participatory, transparent, and accountable governance through e-democracy. This study analyzes the implementation of the PADUKO (Online Population Administration Services) application as a form of digital governance and e-democracy in Padang Panjang City. Using an evaluative case study with a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, and were validated using source triangulation and focus group discussions. The findings show that PADUKO improves service transparency, access to digital information, citizen participation, and inter-agency collaboration in population administration services. However, citizen participation remains largely procedural and consultative, corresponding to the levels of consultation and placation in Arnstein’s ladder of participation. Challenges such as unequal digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and uneven public awareness continue to constrain meaningful engagement. This study concludes that the effectiveness of e-democracy initiatives depends not only on technological readiness but also on supportive institutional frameworks and active community involvement to achieve substantive citizen empowerment in local governance.

This study was conducted to determine the level of community satisfaction with services at the Wali Nagari Simpang Kapuak Office, Mungka District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, measured using the Community Satisfaction Index. This study uses descriptive quantitative-analysis using the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) analysis in accordance with KEPMENPAN Number 14 of 2017. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires, documentation and observations going into the field with the community with a research sample of 95 people using the simple random sampling method. ). Public services in Nagari Simpang Kapuak include 9 elements of the Community Satisfaction Index including: Requirements; Systems, Mechanisms and Procedures; Service Time; Fees or Tariffs; Product Specification Type of Service; Implementing Competence; Implementing Behavior; Handling of Complaints, Suggestions, and Feedbacks; Facilities and infrastructure. The┬áresults showed that the value of the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) in accordance with KEPMENPAN Number 14 of 2017 for the services of the Simpang Kapuak Wali Nagari Office was running well with an interval value of 3.095 and after being converted to 77.37. Problem in this reseach is good governance and public services in the Kumango government Sungai Tarab District in 2021. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing good governance on improving the quality of public services in the Kumango government, Sungai Tarab district The type of research used in quqntitative research with correlation tecniques to find the effect between variables X and Y. The population in this syudy is 1192 people with a sampe 92 people. The sampling technique was using simple random sampling. The collection technique used is a likert scale using research instruments on a good governance scale and public service. The processing is done statistically non parametric with the help of SPSS version 20.00 for windows The results show that there is an influence in the application of good governance principles on the quality of publik services in the Kumango government Sungai Tarab District in 2021. This can be seen from the analyst using the sperman rank test with the help of SPSS for windows, the results obtained ar rs=0,649 with a significance value (p<0,01) is smaller than (p<0,05). This journal discusses "The Contribution of the Patani (Southern Thailand) Islamic Student Union in Indonesia (PMIPTI) West Sumatra Region 2017-2022 in Conflict Resolution in Patani Southern Thailand". The sub-focus of the research in this thesis is what is behind the emergence of the conflict that occurred in Patani and how the contribution of PMIPTI for the West Sumatra Region in 2017-2022 in conflict resolution in Patani. The purpose of this study is to find out what is behind the emergence of conflicts that occurred in Patani and to determine the contribution of PMIPTI for the West Sumatra Region in 2017-2022 in┬áConflict Resolution in Patani. The type of research that the author uses in this study is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Sources of data used in this study consisted of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The results of the author's research can be revealed that the background of the conflict in Patani, which started from the struggle for territory and power between Britain and Thailand who competed for control of the Malay Peninsula. In the end, the Thai Kingdom of Siam was able to conquer the Patani Malay Kingdom. Since the Patani Malays were under the auspices of the Thai Siamese Kingdom, the Patani people experienced a lot of discrimination, including the emergence of regulations imposed by the Thai Kingdom against the Patani people which threatened the identity of the Patani community itself. The contribution made by PMIPTI for the West Sumatra Region towards conflict resolution in Patani is by informing the outside world, especially community leaders and government officials in Indonesia regarding the problems faced by the Patani community today by carrying out various activities and opening up political space. to convey the problems of the conflict that occurred in Patani, Southern Thailand.
