Abstract

Pada pertanian yang masih melakukan proses secara tradisional perawatan tanaman dilakukan secara manual dan sangat bergantung dengan kondisi iklim cuaca. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perlu adanya suatu sistem yang dapat mengontrol dan memantau kondisi ruangan pada greenhouse. Alat pengontrol menggunakan PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), serta alat pendukung lainnya seperti lampu grow light, dan sensor NPK. Dari hasil pengujian sistem greenhouse berbasis PLC ini dengan menggunakan LED grow light dan sensor NPK. Pembacaan sensor NPK dikirim melalui aplikasi Blynk dan dapat dipantau melalui smartphone. Untuk tampilan interface PLC menggunakan HMI (Human Machine Interface) agar dapat mengontrol kondisi ruangan greenhouse dan menampilkan hasil pemantauan sensor. Hasil pertumbuhan tanaman melon pada greenhouse berbasis PLC menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan tanpa menggunakan PLC. Hal tersebut terlihat pada perbedaan pertumbuhan daun, berat buah, pertumbuhan bunga dan kelembapan tanah. Monitoring kadar nutrisi tanaman telah berhasil 90% sesuai dengan ketentuan nutrisi pertumbuhan tanaman melon.

Abstract

The Self-Health Examination Platform (APKM) aims to help medical personnel reduce the usual initial examination procedures so that further examinations or consultations can be carried out immediately. The usual initial examinations that are carried out include measuring body weight, height, body temperature, blood pressure, oxygen levels in the blood, number of heart beats per minute, respiratory rate per minute, and an electrocardiogram to record heart activity. All measurements are carried out in one bridge and are equipped with an audio-visual guide. Measurement devices use equipment with a high level of precision and work automatically so that they can be used by ordinary people. However, the results of this examination need to be consulted with a doctor. In this research, it is proposed to develop APKM for telemedicine so that patients who have carried out independent examinations can consult directly with a doctor regarding the results of their examination.

Abstract

Since March 2020 until now the Covid-19 pandemic has caused a very signifi-cant impact on people's lives in Indonesia. Based on August 2021 data, the num-ber of positive COVID-19 cases reached nearly 4 million cases and the number of recovered patients reached 3.2 million. the use of communication technology is an important part of efforts to overcome the pandemic and help people to access digital health services. Along with this pandemic, Indonesia has just launched 5G network technology with much better performance than 4G technology so that it can be used to create a better healthcare system for patients. This paper provides a review and opportunity for the use of 5G technology for the development of a digital health service system.

Abstract

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) has evolved into an essential element of contemporary vehicles, playing a pivotal role in enhancing road safety and the overall driving experience. Traditionally, TPMS systems rely on dedicated hardware components for the collection and transmission of tire pressure data to the vehicle's onboard computer and the data is visible only to the driver. In this research, we have developed a wireless communication system between TPMS and a server, enabling tire pressure data to be accessible not only to the driver but also remotely traceable by others. To build a reliable communication system, we utilized a combination of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and Convolutional Code technologies. This system is implemented using Software-Defined Radio (SDR) technology. This communication method employs OFDM to enhance data throughput and integrates Convolutional Code to mitigate errors in received data. Consequently, this approach achieves a maximum throughput of 119.19MBps when utilizing the OFDM system alongside 16QAM modulation. The bit error rate for received data without coding stands at 5.77%, but the application of Convolutional Code with a 1/2 code rate effectively reduces this error rate to 3.85%. This system improves the reliability of TPMS communication with the server while also ensuring a consistently high throughput. It enhances road safety and remote monitoring capabilities.

Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia menggunakan Nilai Ujian Nasional (NUN) digunakan sebagai standar nasional untuk mengukur keberhasilan siswa. Dengan menggunakan NUN sebagai parameter untuk mengukur tingkat keberhasilan siswa akan ada resiko yang sangat besar jika siswa gagal dalam menjalani Ujian Nasional (UN), oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah model untuk melakukan prediksi terhadap NUN siswa sehingga dapat dilakukan usaha pencegahan terhadap gagalnya siswa dalam UN. Pada paper ini diusulkan sebuah metode untuk melakukan prediksi terhadap NUN siswa dengan menggunakan neuro fuzzy. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai rapor siswa, dan nilai IQ siswa. Pada penelitian ini digunakan tiga mata pelajaran sebagai subjek penelitian yaitu Matematika, Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa metode neuro fuzzy dengan menggunakan data nilai dan data IQmemberikan akurasi prediksi terbaik pada mata pelajaran matematika sebesar 74%.

Abstract

The elevator has an important role in assisting transportation and logistics activities in a building. However, if the elevator is not used wisely, then the power consumption will be inefficient. A policy of elevator usage is necessary to ensure the effectiveness of elevator power consumption. Therefore, in this study, elevator power consumption monitoring is proposed. The power consumption behavior can be learned so a suitable policy can be made accordingly. Two elevators in Telkom Campus Surabaya are monitored to understand the daily electrical energy usage. Internet of Things (IoT) based real-time power monitoring system is used to monitor the electrical energy usage of the elevator. A raspberry pi is used to collect the data of electrical usage via a current and power sensor. The data is sent to the cloud, which later is displayed through a dashboard website. The result shows that the elevator usage on weekdays and weekends is different. The peak power on weekdays is obtained from 15.00 to 16.00, meanwhile, on weekends, the peak occurs from 9:00 to 10:00. On weekdays, the total power consumed by the elevator is 51.74kW, while on weekends, it is 11.94kW. Restrictions on the use of lifts are applied to periods when the lift has few passengers and has a short distance. From the results obtained, the total power consumed can decrease by an average of 37%. It is expected that the suggested policies can reduce elevator power consumption and the monthly cost of electrical energy.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) merupakan wujud perkembangan teknologi internet yang akhir-akhir ini menjadi topik perbincangan di kalangan penggiat industri Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya para pelajar harus siap menghadapi tantangan tersebut untuk dapat bersaing dengan dunia. Untuk itu pihak penyelenggara pendidikan harus meningkatkan pengetahuan pelajar untuk mengakomodir hal tersebut, sedangkan kurikulum saat ini belum dapat mengakomodir hal tersebut sehingga dibutuhkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di luar jam pelajaran sekolah guna meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang teknologi IoT yang saat ini menjadi tren. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk menghadapi tantangan ini yaitu memberikan pembekalan tentang perkembangan teknologi IoT agar para pelajar dapat mempersiapkan diri lebih dini. SMP Al Islah Surabaya adalah salah satu sekolah menengah yang ada di Surabaya. Di sekolah ini, kurikulum yang digunakan masih belum mengakomodir pengetahuan tentang teknologi IoT. Kondisi inilah yang menyebabkan dibutuhkannya pengetahuan dan skill tambahan yang saat ini sedang berkembang sangat penting untuk mereka kuasai, salah satunya adalah tentang IoT. Hal ini yang menjadi dasar pemikiran penulis ingin memberikan skill tambahan kepada siswa SMP Al Islah Surabaya agar memiliki bekal kemampuan lain disamping kemampuan akademik yang mereka terima di sekolah. Penulis memberikan pelatihan IoT, dimana dalam pelaksanaannya kami dibantu oleh mahasiswa Teknik Komputer.
