Abstract

Saat ini, riset terkait metakognisi mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, namu masih jarang peneliti melakukan pengaitan terkait dengan sejauhmana kemampuan metakognisis memberikan dampak terhadap hasil belajar matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan metakognisi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X SMA Hang tuah Makassar yang berjumlah 100 orang dan sampelnya sebanyak 35 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Simple Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket kemampuan metakognisi dan tes hasil belajar matematika. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan analisis Regresi Linier Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan metakognisi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematis siswa

Abstract

Salah satu ciri khas materi matematika adalah objek-objek yang dipelajari bersifat abstrak, hal ini menjadi salah satu penyebab siswa kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan bintang ajaib sebagai alat peraga dalam pemahaman konsep barisan aritmatika siswa YP PGRI 4 Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pre-experimental designs yang berbentuk One Group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar, dan observasi aktivitas siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tes pemahaman konsep yang dilakukan, sebelum penerapan alat peraga tidak ada yang memperoleh nilai kategori tuntas, dan setelah diterapkannya alat peraga bintang ajaib 31 nilai siswa berada pada kategori tuntas. Dari hasil lembar observasi aktivitas siswa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas positif siswa di setiap pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan alat peraga bintang ajaib efektif sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi barisan aritmatika.

Abstract

Teacher quality can be improved by increasing knowledge about various methods, approaches and strategies that can be applied in learning to overcome learning problems in the classroom so that innovative learning can be realized which will maximize student achievement. In connection with this problem, the cooperative learning model was socialized to improve students' mathematical generalization abilities. This community service aims to socialize the application of the Active, Collaborative and Inductive (AKI) Cooperative learning model to teachers in Maros Regency. This activity was attended by 23 teachers and lecturers from various schools and universities. During the activity, the teachers were interested and motivated to develop creative mathematics teaching skills using the AKI type cooperative learning model as a solution to the low mathematical generalization abilities experienced by students.

Abstract

The psychological well-being of students is very important to create a good and productive learning environment. In an effort to provide SMAS Hang Tuah Makassar teachers with a better understanding of the concept of mental health and strategies to improve it in the learning environment, a seminar on Psychological Well Being of Students in the learning process was held. Participants gain a broad understanding of the factors that influence students' psychological well-being, the role of teachers in creating a supportive environment, and methods and approaches that are useful for improving psychological well-being. The results of the pre- and post-test evaluations showed that the teachers understood and comprehended this concept better after attending the seminar.

Abstract

The mathematical generalization ability of students at one junior high school, especially in Makassar, is relatively low. One alternative to improve students' mathematical generalization abilities is to apply active, collaborative and inductive cooperative learning models. This research aims to determine the difference in the average score of mathematical generalization abilities of students taught through active, collaborative and inductive cooperative learning models, and students taught through cooperative learning models on flat-sided geometric material. This research used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design in class VIII at a junior high school in Makassar, Indonesia. The sample in this study was 35 students in the control group and 31 students in the experimental group. The instrument used is a mathematical generalization ability test. Data were analyzed using the n gain test. Based on the analysis, the average n-gain score for students' mathematical generalization abilities in flat-sided geometric material after being taught by applying active, collaborative and inductive cooperative learning models was 0,51 or experienced a moderate increase and the percentage of learning completeness was 93,55%. Therefore, it can be concluded that junior high school students' mathematical generalization abilities increased after being taught using active, collaborative and inductive cooperative learning models.
