Abstract

The responsbility of protecting the environment rest with all parties, including manufacturers. Therefore, manufacturers reprocess their used products. Mathematically, it can be explained by closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) model. CLSC is a system that is carried out recycling or remanufacturing. In this study, closed-loop supply chain involves manufacturer and two retailers. Manufacturers sell their product directly to consumers and indirectly through retailers. The purpose of this study is to construct an optimal profit function of each actor. With centralized system, the model is a function of price without constraints by notice delivery lead time. The result shows that delivery lead have an impact to profit each actor. The longer delivery lead time decreases the profit.

Abstract

Economic growth is defined as an increase in a country's income as measured using gross domestic product (GDP) data. The GDP growth rate tends to experience an upward trend even though fluctuates in each time period. This fluctuation will affect the decision of investors in investing or withdrawing capital. In this study, a regression model is applied to GDP growth rate data to help investors understand the pattern of GDP growth in the future. One of the regression models that can be used is support vector regression with stochastic gradient descent optimization algorithm (SGD-SVR). The results show that the SGD-SVR model is able to be applied to GDP growth rate data in Indonesia. In the training process, the MSE resulted was 0.2805 with a total of 360 iterations. Meanwhile, the testing process resulted in an MSE of 0.0325.

Abstract

The UMKM involved in this community partnership program is engaged in the production of teak wood furniture. The issues currently faced are (1) a limited range of furniture products and (2) traditional management and marketing methods. This study aimed to implement technological induction to enhance productivity, creativity, and competitiveness within these UMKMs. The technological induction involved providing modern production tools for creating innovative products and developing an application boot program and server computer to enhance marketing efforts. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining case study observations and user-centred design principles to create technological solutions. The program's outcomes were assessed through partner training and mentoring, employing a problem-solving approach to address post-implementation challenges. The study found that introducing advanced production tools and digital marketing strategies significantly increased the variety of products, streamlined production processes, and expanded market reach, positioning the UMKMs for improved competitiveness in the national market. This research underscores the importance of integrating technology into small-scale industries for sustainable growth. Future efforts should focus on scaling these practices to other creative sectors for broader economic impact.

Abstract

Food is the main need for every individual that must always be fulfilled. For Indonesia, food is identified with rice because this type of food is a commodity consumed by the Indonesian population. Therefore, the rice crisis can be interrupt economic resilience and national stability. National rice consumption from year to year will continue to increase in line with the increase in Indonesia's population. Although, Indonesia is the third-largest country in the world in producing the most, Indonesia still depends on rice imports. This was done by the government to maintain the national rice supply. The rice supply chain in Indonesia has not been optimum, as indicated by the relatively small profits of producer. In this research, we construct the maximum profit model of direct and indirect media sales of rice for producer, distributor, and retailer. And then, we determine the optimum solution of the model and analysis of the factors in the rice supply chain that affect it. The results showed that changes in the proportion of demand greatly affects the resulting optimal profit.

Abstract

The automotive industry sector is one of the main sectors contributing to the national economy. Companies in the automotive industry work together to increase productivity and win the market competition. This research aims to construct the cooperative interaction between two companies into the cooperative Lotka-Volterra model. The cooperative Lotka-Volterra model was analyzed for stability at the equilibrium point and bifurcation analysis was performed. Sales data for the Calya 1.2 G product from PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia and sales data for the New Sigra 1.2 R MT product from PT Astra Daihatsu Motor are applied to the model. The results of the study show that there is a model that explains the cooperative interaction of the two companies, namely the cooperative Lotka-Volterra model. Four equilibrium points are obtained with three equilibrium points being unstable and the fourth equilibrium point being stable with conditions. The Hopf bifurcation analysis of the model shows that there are no parameters that cause a change in stability from initially stable to unstable. The data simulation shows that the cooperation of the two companies is mutually beneficial because it increases the number of sales and creates balanced market conditions.

Abstract

The current increase in smartphone users has caused various mobile device operating system companies to compete with each other to create a mobile device operating system that is suitable and acceptable to the public. Competition among mobile operating system market shares can be analyzed using the Lotka-Volterra model. This study aims to reconstruct the Lotka-Volterra model for the cellular operating system market share in Indonesia. In addition, a stability analysis was carried out, which aims to determine the stability of the competitive model for the market share of the operating system in Indonesia. The results of the study show that a competitive Lotka-Volterra model can be built on the Android and iOS operating system market share in Indonesia. In this model, there are four equilibrium points, one of which is unstable, and the other three equilibrium points are conditionally stable.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology causes internet users to increase, so consumers are increasingly accustomed to buying products through online channels. This can encourage business people to carry out a sales strategy using two channels (offline and online) or commonly called Dual-Channel Supply Chain (DCSC). In its application, it is hoped that business people will create an environmentally friendly company to reduce carbon emissions. Therefore, business people create companies that implement the Green Dual-Channel Supply Chain (GDCSC) model. GDCSC in online channels has one drawback, namely that consumers cannot evaluate products accurately. This allows consumers to obtain defective products resulting in product returns. Returned defective products can be reprocessed through the remanufacturing process. To provide solutions to these conditions, centralization scenario is used to determine the optimal solution so that maximum profit is obtained. Based on the analysis, it shows that changes in price elasticity and product returns cause system profits to get smaller, while changes in price elasticity and energy efficiency levels cause system profits to get bigger.

Abstract

The development of technology and the internet has encouraged industry players to develop their businesses by adding online sales media, which previously only used offline sales media. By adding online sales media, industry players can expand their markets so they can increase profits. This study aims to modify the DCSC model for complementary products by considering the green manufacturing level to maximize the profit of a system consisting of two manufacturers and one retailer.. Based on the model that has been constructed, the optimal solution is determined so that maximum profits are obtained for each model actor in centralized scenarios. After that, the model is applied and sensitivity analysis of its parameters is carried out. Based on the research results, it appears that the policy that is more profitable for each actor in terms of system benefits is the centralized scenario. Analysis of changes in selling price elasticity values and cross price sensitivity of one of the complementary products sold in two channels influences the increase or decrease in profits of each actor and system profits. However, changes in the value of cross-price sensitivity between two complementary products indicate a decrease in the profits of each actor and the profits of the system. The change in the sensitivity value of the green manufacturing level for each product shows an increase in system profits and retailer profits, where when the sensitivity value of the green manufacturing level of product 1 is greater, the profit of manufacturer 1 is also greater, but the profit of manufacturer 2 is smaller. Conversely, when the green manufacturing level sensitivity value of product 2 becomes greater, the profit of manufacturer 2 also becomes greater, but the profit of manufacturer 1 becomes smaller.
