Abstract

Purpose of this research is to understand the differences of learning outcomes using Cooperative learning model type TAl (Team Assisted Individualization) and STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) on the subject Accounting, Social Sciences Education Department of Tarbiyah and Teaching Sciences of Maulana Malik lbrahim State Islamic University of Malang. This research using Experimental research design Quasi Experiment, and the model using Pre-Test and Post-Test Control Group Design. Population of this research is all students of first semester Year 2013/2014, and the sample are class A as the experiment group who using TAI model and class B as the control group who study using STAD model. There are two instruments in this research, such as treatment instrument and measurement instrument. Researcher used hypothesis test to know the differences of learning outcomes, t-test in which previously conducted the prerequisite test analysis which consist of normality test, homogeneity test, and the equality test of average initial ability of student. Result of this research shows the difference of average mark in cognitive aspects in these classes is not significant but the average mark TAI class higher than STAD class, but there is a significant difference in psychomotor aspects in these classes. It can be showing the average mark of TAI also higher than STAD.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning Model type TAI, STAD

Abstract

Manage of personal finance is very important, because many products and services offered in the market. We must more carefully to spend our money not fulfill what we want but what we need, Management for personal finance can adapted from accounting and Finance Management for corporation with adjustment. We must record income and outcome of our money as responsibility to our self and controlling our spiritual quotient, and then we can measure our achievement. Residual of our income can saved for the sudden need, or invest in many thing as our basic need, for example land and building or in portfolio, for future. This article discuss about how we apply accounting and finance management to personal finance management and also the application for personal finance in our gadget.Keywords: Accounting, Finance Management, Personal Finance Management

Abstract

Accounting in major PIPS less favored by students, but in fact it is very important to apply in daily life, especially in the setting of personal finance. At the beginning to see an accounting class, students are pessimistic to be able to follow properly. Because the average PIPS student does not like calculations. Actually count in accounting are mostly addition and subtraction, while division and multiplication are very rarely used. It is important to clarify to students so that they can change their view to accounting and further motivate. Keywords: motivation, social science.

Abstract

The mosque is a non-profit institution, which organizes many religious, social, educational and da'wah activities. The activities held to depend on a lot of funds obtained from the community as a source of mosque funding. Based on the results of the study, the sources of mosque funding were obtained from charity boxes attached to the walls of the mosque consisting of the construction of mosques, infaq of mosques, those entitled to receive, orphans, and the poor. Also from the charity box during Friday prayers, regular and non-permanent donors. Based on the money obtained, the mosque held social activities, education, and da'wah. As the manager's responsibility to the public, monthly income and expenditure reports are always posted on the mosque's bulletin board so that all can see the report. Besides, it also sends special financial reports to regular donors. This financial transparency makes it easier for mosques to raise funds from the public. The preparation of the mosque's financial report involves the treasurer and daily staff, as is known by the chairman of the mosque's takmir as the person in charge. As a community organization, this mosque is also monitored directly by the public by publishing its financial statements.Keywords: mosque; religion; social; education; da'wah

Abstract

Currently, variety of banking products to facilitate customer transactions. So it is important to know about the knowledge of finance, including financial products. This research measures the student's understanding on financial knowledge consists of knowledge of personal finance, savings and loans, insurance, investment. The student has followed the course of accounting and financial management largely discusses financial firms, but researchers always explains its application to personal finances when teaching the subject. Measurement of the level of knowledge using questionnaires, then measured using the percentage of correct answers. Knowledge of personal financial management has been good, while knowledge of savings and loans, insurance, investments are at a low level. This study has shown the importance of improving the material being taught on the subject to expand the application on personal financial management, and understanding of banking products, insurance and investment, because students will also go to the public where it will be related to its financial problems. so hopefully with his knowledge of finance can finish well. Abstract

The use of Instagram from only sharing photos or videos and interacting with users has become a place for personal branding such as business events, information sources, and publications to get appreciation. Among students, the purpose of using Instagram can also change from the purpose of initial account creation. Different goals can be influenced by the needs and suitability of media content. To examine the socio-culture of Instagram usage patterns among students, research was conducted using a data collection method using a questionnaire. The results show the suitability of content and objectives do not affect the intensity of use, but affect the intensity of data upload. Appropriateness of content affects the choice of Instagram users to take advantage of privacy features. Based on these two things, it can be concluded that the intensity and use of privacy features affect personal branding, because the intensity of the influence of the level of communication of users with the audience, while the use of privacy features will affect the level of audience curiosity towards user data.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education Development (or PAUD in Indonesian) is essential in today’s world. A participative action research (PAR) approach was one of the actions done to support the development. One important stage in PAR is the preliminary study stage. The focus of this research is to know how the preliminary study was done in the perspective of problem mapping. The data collection techniques are performed with observations, surveys, documents, and interviews. This research produces a problem mapping model that is important in determining the problem that is used as the main agenda of mentoring to fit the needs of assistance by community priorities. The problem mapping model includes several stages: problem surveying and capturing, problem displaying, problem valuing, problem clustering, and a stage to determines the main problem for the action plan or the completion process.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat ikut menentukan efektivitas pengajaran Bahasa Inggris, namun para guru masih belum memanfaatkannya secara maksimal karena mereka lebih menitikberatkan metode dan teknik penyampaian materi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru SMP di Kabupaten Mojokerto dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Pelaksanaannya dibagi dalam tiga tahap, yaitu pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Kantor Diklat Gedheg selama 3 hari dengan jumlah peserta 24 guru SMP. Pada tahap pelatihan, guru-guru dibekali pengetahuan mengenai jenis-jenis media pembelajaran (visual, audio, audio-visual dan multimedia) serta diberi contoh cara mengembangkannya. Pada tahap pendampingan, mereka menggunakan pengetahuan yang telah diperoleh dan kreatifitas mereka untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran secara berkelompok, di mana tiap kelompok membuat satu jenis media pembelajaran. Untuk tahap evaluasi, mereka menyampaikan persepsi terhadap pelatihan ini melalui angket dan wawancara. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah berbagai jenis media pembelajaran yang menarik dengan bahan daur ulang maupun teknologi sederhana. Berdasarkan tanggapan para guru melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mereka memandang kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dan perlu dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan ke depannya.Kata kunci—pengabdian masyarakat, pelatihan media pembelajaran, pengajaran Bahasa Inggris

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) agar pembelajaran lebih menarik dan materi lebih mudah dipahami. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru MI Mambaul Ulum Probolinggo dalam mengembangkan multimedia berupa Power Point untuk memudahkan menyampaikan materi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Gedung Yayasan Mambaul Ulum Probolinggo pada tanggal 27 Februari 2023. Pada tahap pelatihan, guru-guru diberi materi media pembelajaran interaktif berupa pemanfaatan berbagai fitur yang ada di Power Point, yaitu menyisipkan gambar, video dan suara pada slides serta membuat soal yang menarik untuk mengases pemahaman siswa. Pada tahap pendampingan, guru-guru mempraktikkan pembuatan slides Power Point sesuai mata pelajaran yang diampu, sehingga menghasilkan media yang siap digunakan ketika mengajar. Sedangkan tahap evaluasi, para guru diberikan angket untuk menyampaikan tanggapannya atas kegiatan pengabdian ini. Kata kunci— pengabdian masyarakat, media pembelajaran, media interaktif, power point

Abstract

This research aims to develop an accounting e-module for contextual-based learning to increase students' interest in accounting. This contextual learning connects accounting with the application of financial literacy, particularly in financial planning. The development research method utilizes the ADDIE development procedure model. Validation by media, material, and language experts, as well as feasibility trials, targets students from the class of 2022/2023 of the Social Sciences Education Study Program (Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Sosial - PIPS) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim. Interest was measured using a questionnaire administered to both the experimental and control classes. The research results indicate that the interest of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, demonstrating the effectiveness of using contextual-based e-modules in learning.
