Abstract

Abstrak – Industri gula rakyat merupakan kegiatan perindustrian UMKM yang terkenal dari Kecamatan Ngunut, Kabupaten Tulungagung. Industri yang secara turun-temurun itu telah berkembang dan tersebar di beberapa kecamatan. Akan tetapi, seiring dengan pertumbuhan produksi gula merah, hal tersebut telah memberi dampak negatif terhadap sistem pengelolaan limbah yang belum terstruktur. Pencemaran dari asap pembakaran kegiatan industri telah memberi dampak kepada permasalahan sosial, lingkungan, dan kesehatan bagi masyarakat. Pada hasil penelitian pengabdian masyarakat telah dirancang filter asap ramah lingkungan berbasis limbah arang dan ampas tebu. Material filter disusun secara berlapis untuk mengefektifkan sistem penyaringan. Filter yang disusun mampu mengurangi emisi asap pembakaran pada industri gula rakyat Desa Karangsono, Kec. Ngunut, Kab. Tulungagung. Terjadi penurunan tingkat emisi sebanyak ~30% dari total emisi gas karbon monoksida (CO) pada kondisi normal sebanyak 340 ppm.Kata kunci: industri gula rakyat, filter cerobong asap, karbon aktif, ampas dan arang tebu

Abstract

The wireless sensor network (WSN) is an attractive technology, which combines embedded systems and communication networks making them more efficient and effective. Currently, WSNs have been developed for various monitoring applications. In this research, a wireless mesh network for a pipeline monitoring system was designed and developed. Sensor nodes were placed at each branch in the pipe system. Some router fails were simulated and the response of each node in the network was evaluated. Three different scenarios were examined to test the data transmission performance. The results proved that the wireless mesh network was reliable and robust. The system is able to perform link reconfiguration, automatic routing and safe data transmission from the beginning node to the end node.

Abstract

Monitoring and data record system of electric current on the current conducting wire has been developed. Recently, the current measurement was conducted by electronic circuit configuration by adding the shunt resistance in the circuit configuration. Compare to the voltage measurement, the electric current measurement has several obstacle and sometimes dangerous, especially on the AC current measurement. This study offers the automation of electric current measurement using affordable and non-destructive ACS712 Hall effect sensor. Hall effect is the phenomena of charge flow deflection in the metal plate that is placed in the magnetic field. By using this sensor, it is possible to detect the AC and DC current on conducting wires. The output of the sensor  voltage will be change based on the magnetic field obtained due to current flows in the wire. Those output voltage are processed in microprocessor of ATMEGA238. Measurement results are saved in *.txt format. LabVIEW is used as the display system interface to simplify the utilization. The measurement is conducted in the Faraday cage. This system can be one of answer for the efficient and stable affordable current measurement with the precision is 0.9954 and average of accuracy percentage is 99.5934%. To reach those precision, the sensor calibration formula in datasheets should be corrected by subtracts the sensor calibration formula with the constant of 0.125.

Abstract

Saat ini, di wilayah Dillem Wilis, Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kabupaten Trenggalek sedang mengembangkan produk susu sapi perah. Salah satu sumber pendapatan utama masyarakat di sekitar Dilem Willis adalah peternakan susu, yang menyebabkan banyak kendang sapi di sekitar Kawasan Dilem Willis. Mempromosikan susu sapi perah masyarakat Dilem Willis ke pasar luar kota adalah salah satu inisiatif yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kabupaten Trenggalek. Dinas Pertanian dan Peternakan Kabupaten Trenggalek menghasilkan 20 ekor sapi perah, terdiri dari 15 ekor sapi induk dan 10 ekor anakan. Biasanya, hasil susu yang dihasilkan oleh Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan dan masyarakat di Kawasan Dillem Wilis dijual langsung ke penampung susu untuk diproses menjadi susu dalam botol, yang kemudian dijual di Caffee TTP Dillem Willis. Namun, produk susu botol yang dijual hanya bertahan satu hari dalam lemari pendingin. Untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomi dan memasarkan produk susu sapi perah Kawasan Dillem Willis ke luar kota, Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kabupaten Trenggalek harus melakukan inovasi dalam teknologi pengolahan susu. Salah satu inovasi dalam pengolahan susu adalah teknologi pendingin suhu -10 derajat Celcius. Teknologi ini meningkatkan kualitas susu, dan umur simpan susu menjadi lebih lama dan steril. Di antara tugas yang dilakukan adalah mengunjungi lokasi mitra, merencanakan inovasi untuk produk susu, mengembangkan produk pengolah susu sesuai dengan rancangan, menyerahkan produk, menyusun dokumentasi dan laporan akhir, dan menerbitkan publikasi.

Abstract

The existence of dark matter is supported by strong astrophysical and cosmological evidence, yet its particle nature remains unresolved. In over two decades of direct detection searches, DAMA/LIBRA remains the only experiment to report an annual modulation in NaI(Tl), a result in strong tension with the null findings of other detection technologies. Motivated by this discrepancy, the COSINE experiment is a direct dark matter search using the same NaI(Tl) target material as DAMA/LIBRA operated at the Yangyang Underground Laboratory (Y2L). The COSINE is designed to provide an independent test of the DAMA/LIBRA claim. Here, we analyze the COSINE-100’s findings, which show no evidence for modulation consistent with dark matter interactions and place stringent limits on Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) parameter space. We further discuss the implications of these findings for the DAMA anomaly, the role of complementary NaI(Tl)-based efforts such as ANAIS and SABRE, and the impact on dark matter searches.

Abstract

This research develops an automatic switching-based hybrid energy management system that integrates batteries and supercapacitors to improve power distribution efficiency in electric vehicles. The system is controlled by a microcontroller that monitors the current in real-time and activates the supercapacitor line when the current exceeds 10 A. The switching circuit uses IR2110 and IRFP4568 MOSFETs. Tests were conducted in three scenarios: battery only, hybrid without load, and hybrid with load. In the no-load condition, the supercapacitor produced a peak current of 18.23 A and an average of 5.73 A, while the battery recorded an average current of 8.52 A. In the loaded condition, the supercapacitor peak current reached 20.87 A, with an average of 10.82 A, while the battery was 11.95 A. The total energy increased from 55022.25 J (battery only) to 92000.76 J (no-load) and 147019.09 J (with load). The efficiency also increased from 1.0% to 2.4% in the hybrid configuration. The system showed a stable energy conversion efficiency of 95% under both hybrid conditions. These results prove that automatic integration of supercapacitors can improve system efficiency and performance without the complexity of control algorithms.

Abstract

Keterbatasan penerangan di kawasan pesisir Pantai Gurah, Kabupaten Blitar, menyebabkan aktivitas nelayan pada malam hari kurang optimal dan berisiko terhadap keselamatan kerja. Permasalahan tersebut diatasi melalui implementasi sistem Penerangan Jalan Umum Tenaga Surya (PJU-TS) sebagai solusi berbasis energi terbarukan yang efisien dan ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan oleh tim NM Research Group melalui beberapa tahapan, meliputi survei lapangan, perancangan sistem, pemasangan dua unit PJU-TS, sosialisasi dan pelatihan, serta serah terima alat kepada masyarakat nelayan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem PJU-TS berfungsi dengan baik, mampu menyediakan penerangan memadai tanpa bergantung pada jaringan listrik PLN, dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keamanan serta kenyamanan nelayan dalam beraktivitas malam hari. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya penggunaan energi terbarukan. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi PJU-TS tidak hanya menjadi solusi teknis terhadap keterbatasan penerangan, tetapi juga menjadi sarana edukasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir dalam mendukung transisi energi bersih dan berkelanjutan.
