Abstract

Sebagai upaya dalam optimalisasi media konsultasi dalam membantu Perguruan Tinggi dalam mendeteksi permasalahan mahasiswanya serta mendukung program pemerintah dalam mengatasi 3 dosa besar dunia pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang program aplikasi sebagai media interaktif dalam memantau permasalahan mahasiswa sekaligus sebagai media konsultasi dalam membantu Dosen Pembimbing Akademik (PA). Metode perancangan aplikasi yang digunakan menggunakan metode user-centered design (UCD) sampai menghasilkan prototype sebagai gambaran aplikasi mobile yang dibuat. Kelebihan menggunakan metode user-centered design (UCD) adalah pengalaman pengguna yang lebih baik, solusi yang dapat dipercaya, mereduksi resiko kesalahan, tingkat kepuasan pengguna yang lebih tinggi, inovasi lebih baik, serta mengurangi peluang aplikasi gagal. Aplikasi yang dirancang terdiri dari 6 modul yaitu login aplikasi, profil pengguna, percakapan mahasiswa, daftar permasalahan mahasiswa, informasi mahasiswa, dan deteksi permasalahan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan penilaian terhadap perancangan terhadap aplikasi didapatkan hasil 85% responden menganggap prototype aplikasi sangat baik.

Abstract

In an effort to prevent and handle sexual violence and support the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture, Research and Technology concerning the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence, an application media is needed that allows survivors of sexual violence to report sexual crimes and receive psychological assistance. The purpose of this research is to create a media application that can help survivors of sexual violence get help and assistance as well as a medium for sharing stories so that other users can be more aware of the dangers of sexual violence. The method used in this research is using Android Studio and Visual Studio Code as an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) based on Android and using a no-relational (NoSQL) realtime database on firebase and MySQL database. The advantage of the research is that the system to be developed does not use physical servers anymore but all databases are stored in the cloud system. To help survivors to report sexual violence, this application makes it easy to contact law enforcement, contact a psychologist for psychological assistance via online chat, contact the nearest health facility, and contact the Women and Children Protection Unit. Based on testing, applications built based on android and websites can be concluded that they can run well and can be used as reporting and consulting media for survivors of sexual violence

Abstract

The role of information technology is currently developed according to the current rapid development of the times. The most developed types of information technology are web-based and mobile devices. Web-based and mobile devices are used to facilitate daily activities along with technological advances. One of the important things for everyday life by utilizing technological advances is in the field of health services, especially services at health clinics. In this regard, a web-based and mobile information system was designed at the Pajjaiang Makassar clinic to facilitate service. Making this system uses the waterfall method which is often used in the development of information systems or software. This system consists of 4 actors, namely patients, admins, doctors, and pharmacists. Patients are connected to the mobile application, while admins, doctors, and pharmacists are connected on the web side. The patient registers for the examination, the admin manages the patient's data, the doctor conducts the examination, and the pharmacist manages the available drugs. Everything is interconnected using mysql database as the database and Application Programming Interface (API) to connect it. With this web-based and mobile information system is a form of digitalization process in the field of health services.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, technology is developing rapidly and has become an important aspect in improving security. Traditional security systems such as keys and access cards have several disadvantages, such as the risk of loss and misuse. To overcome this, this research designed and built a prototype warehouse access system using facial recognition technology based on ESP32-CAM and Firebase as a real-time database. This system aims to increase security and efficiency in managing warehouse access. The facial recognition system uses the Haar cascade classifier algorithm to detect and recognize the user's face, with an ESP32-based control module integrated with the camera, keypad and LCD screen. System testing involves variables such as facial expressions, accessories, lighting, and distance to ensure optimal performance in a variety of conditions. Apart from facial recognition, the system is also equipped with an alternative method of access using a PIN as a backup. Test results show that the system works well in various scenarios, with the level of usability assessed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) reaching a score of 76.7, which indicates a good level of usability. It is hoped that this system can be implemented to improve the security and efficiency of warehouse access in the future.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan daya saing produk kosmetik lokal tradisional terutama Bedda Lotong di CV. Idlan Waranie Perkasa melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan penerapan Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Pelatihan diadakan untuk mengatasi kendala mitra dalam memahami prinsip GMP serta meningkatkan inovasi dalam formulasi produk kosmetik berbasis bahan tradisional. Melalui serangkaian pelatihan dan pendampingan, mitra diharapkan mampu mengoptimalkan proses produksi sesuai standar GMP dan menciptakan produk yang aman, berkualitas, serta kompetitif di pasar. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan dalam pemahaman peserta terkait GMP dan kemampuan formulasi produk.

Abstract

Select random is a query in a SQL database that can retrieve data randomly from a table. Select random is often used to present data in various applications such as websites, data mining and others. Unfortunately, ordinary select random query is inefficient in terms of processing time if used in large table. This paper, tries to solve this problem by proposing two optimized methods of select random query, namely the Small Percentage Order by Rand (SPO-Rand) and the Filtered Column Order by Rand (FCO-Rand). The two proposed methods are then compared in terms of processing speed with a standard Select Random query or Normal Order by Rand (NO-Rand). The scenario of the experiment is to collect five random data from several data sets, ranging from 10.000 to 200.000 data. Based on the results of experiments that have been conducted, the proposed FCO-Rand method obtained the best process speed with 0.074 seconds at 200.000 data, followed by SPO-Rand with 0.265 seconds. These result are much faster than the standard random select method (NO-Rand) which takes up to 7,035 seconds for the same task.

Abstract

To support the government’s program in preventing the spread of COVID-19 virus, it is expected to reduce direct communication between fellow students and lecturers. The purpose of this research to create interactive media that can provide consulting service for students with academic advisor (PA) without direct contact. It is expected for this research, students can be more proactive in interacting with their academic advisor in discussing academic and non-academic problems. The method used in this research is using Android Studio and Visual Studio Code as an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and using a no-relational (NoSQL) realtime database on firebase. The advantage of this research is that the system to be developed does not use physical servers anymore but all databases are stored in the cloud system. The result of this research is chatroom application consisting of 7 modules namely application login with username and password, searching user, chatting user, list consultation, student input consultation, edit data consultation, and account setting.

Abstract

Berkebun merupakan hal yang umum bagi masyarakat Indonesia karena sebagian besar penduduknya bekerja di sektor pertanian dan perkebunan. Salah satu metode bercocok tanam yang saat ini digemari masyarakat adalah hidroponik. Penelitian ini untuk membangun sebuah sistem pemantauan dan kendali kebun hidroponik sistem NFT menggunakan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) yang dapat dipantau dan dikendalikan melalui aplikasi mobile. Menggunakan sensor TDS, pH air, suhu air, suhu dan kelembaban udara serta intensitas cahaya, dimana setiap sensor memiliki peranan masing-masing yang dapat mengendalikan pompa air, pompa nutrisi AB Mix dan grow light. Pengguna dapat melakukan pemantauan dan kendali kapan pun dan di mana pun secara otomatis atau manual dengan menggunakan aplikasi pada perangkat mobile. Sistem kontrol dan monitor nutrisi kebun hidroponik ini dibuat untuk mempermudah para petani ataupun masyarakat yang ingin atau sedang menjalankan sistem hidroponik ini. Karena sistem ini terdapat sensor-sensor seperti sensor TDS meter, pH meter, kelembaban dan suhu udara, sensor suhu air, serta sensor cahaya yang digunakan untuk kontrol dan monitor kebun hidroponik secara otomatis ataupun manual melalui aplikasi mobile. Implementasi IoT untuk sistem pemantauan dan kendali kebun hidroponik NFT dapat bekerja dengan baik dengan memenuhi fitur-fitur yang dibutuhkan. Adapun hal-hal yang menjadi saran sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk pengembangan aplikasi agar menjadi lebih baik adalah dengan menggunakan sensor yang mumpuni dan sesuai standar yang dapat meningkatkan akurasi hasil sensing sehingga sistem menjadi lebih efektif.Keyword: IoT, Hidroponik, NFT, Real Time, ESP32
