Abstract

Aplikasi kuliner yang berisi ribuan resep masakan memiliki peluang untuk pengembangan stategi e-marketing. Tidak sedikit penyaji resep masakan secara eksplisit menuliskan bahan yang digunakan dengan merek produk yang hanya menguntungkan perusahaan terkait. Penyebutan ini, secara tidak langsung membuat penyaji resep merekomendasikan produk tersebut kepada para pembaca resep. Akan tetapi, penyaji resep tidak mendapatkan feedback apapun dari perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan aplikasi kuliner berbasis web yang di dalamnya menerapkan konsep gamifikasi guna memaksimalkan e-marketing dan sosial bisnis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan, sedangkan data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Alur gamifikasi dimodelkan dalam Graph Database karena unsur-unsur terkait memiliki keterhubungan data satu sama lain yang sangat kuat. Selain memaksimalkan stategi e-marketing melalui aplikasi kuliner, user yang terlibat di dalamnya pun akan mendapatkan benefit dari penyebutan merek bahan pangan tersebut melalui konsep bisnis sosial. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian menggunakan metode blackbox testing, disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi ini berjalan sesuai fungsi dari setiap fitur berdasarkan kondisi masukan. Hasil uji coba melalui kuesioner dengan total 45 responden dimana kinerja sistem menunjukkan nilai 99,98%, pengaruh gamifikasi dalam sistem untuk user menunjukkan nilai 97.7% dan kepuasan responden terhadap user interface menunjukan  nilai 91.1%. Culinary applications that contain thousands of recipes have opportunities for the development of e-marketing strategies. Not a few recipe presenters explicitly write down the ingredients used with product brands that only benefit the related company. This mention indirectly makes the recipe presenter recommend the product to the recipe readers. However, the recipe presenter did not receive any feedback from the company. This study aims to implement web-based culinary applications in which the concept of gamification is applied to maximize e-marketing and social business. The type of research used is development research, while the data is analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The gamification flow is modeled in the Graph Database because related elements have very strong data connectivity with each other. In addition to maximizing the e-marketing strategy through culinary applications, users who are involved in it will also benefit from mentioning the food brand through the concept of social business. Based on the test results using the blackbox testing method, it is concluded that this application runs according to the function of each feature based on input conditions. The test results through a questionnaire with a total of 45 respondents where the performance of the system shows a value of 99.98%, the effect of gamification in the system for users shows a value of 97.7% and respondents' satisfaction with the user interface shows a value of 91.1%.

Abstract

Pemerintah Kabupaten Maros memberikan bantuan Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) berupa dana dan pelatihan UMKM kepada pelaku UMKM yang berasal dari Kabupaten Maros. Dalam proses penerimaan bantuan UMKM tersebut masih banyak kendala yang dihadapi oleh petugas UMKM seperti proses seleksi masih membutuhkan waktu lama sehingga sering terjadi keterlambatan penerimaan bantuan UMKM. Selain itu, terdapat juga masalah dalam melakukan seleksi penerima bantuan UMKM, petugas bantuan UMKM masih melakukanya secara konvensional dan belum adanya standar untuk menghitung dalam melakukan proses seleksi dan harus menilai berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ada. Penelitian ini mengajukan solusi seleksi Penerima Bantuan UMKM Pada Dinas Kopurindag Kabupaten Maros menggunakan algoritma Profile Matching. Dalam penerapan algoritma Profile Matching bekerja berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan dengan memberikan hasil berupa perangkingan terhadap data pemohon bantuan UMKM. Adapun kriteria yang digunakan dalam penerimaan bantuan UMKM Pemerintah Kabupaten Maros aspek usaha UMKM yaitu: Jumlah Tenaga Kerja, Modal Awal, Lama Usaha, Omset, dan aspek prinsip 5C yaitu Character, Capity, Capital, Collateral, Conditions. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, solusi yang diajukan berhasil meranking 5 dari 20 UMKM untuk mendapatkan bantuan UMKM. The Maros Regency Government provides Micro small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) assistance in the form of funds and MSME training to MSME actors from Maros Regency. In the process of receiving MSME assistance, there are still many obstacles faced by MSME officers, such as the selection process still takes a long time, so there are often delays in receiving MSME assistance. Apart from that, there are also problems in selecting recipients of MSME aid, MSME aid officers still do it conventionally and there are no standards for calculating when carrying out the selection process and have to assess based on existing criteria. This research proposes a solution for selection of MSME Assistance Recipients at the Maros Regency Kopurindag Service using the Profile Matching algorithm. In implementing the Profile Matching algorithm, it works based on predetermined criteria by providing results in the form of ranking data on applicants for MSME assistance. The criteria used in receiving MSME assistance from the Maros Regency Government for the MSME business aspects are: Number of Workers, Initial Capital, Length of Business, Turnover, and aspects of the 5C principles, namely Character, Capity, Capital, Collateral, Conditions. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the proposed solution succeeded in ranking 5 out of 20 MSMEs to receive MSME assistance.

Abstract

Scientific publications are a means of delivering research results and innovations of researchers. Recently, researchers' interest in publishing publications is also increasing. This increase occurred in the publication of papers through scientific conferences. This encourages the need for the use of information technology to facilitate conference management. However, the application of the conference management system is still minimal. Based on these problems, this study proposes a web-based conference management method. The system is built using a MySQL database and Model-View-Controller (MVC) code architecture in PHP. Therefore, every conference process can be included in the system. the system is designed with three main modules, namely the participant/presenter module, reviewer module, and committee/admin module, which covers the entire conference process starting from registration, paper submission, review, payment and distribution of presentation rooms. Trials and evaluations are carried out using the Black Box Testing method to ensure the system can work well. The results of the tests and evaluations that have been carried out show that the proposed system is proven to have good performance with a score of 100% or successfully fulfills all existing test scenarios

Abstract

Small chili farmers in Soppeng Regency face challenges in planning production and marketing due to fluctuating prices. To assist various stakeholders, an accurate price prediction system is needed. This research proposes a system solution to predict small chili prices using the Gradient Boosting Algorithm. The Gradient Boosting Algorithm is employed to predict prices based on historical data using tools such as Visual Studio Code, Microsoft Excel, Python, PHP, CSS, and SQL. The dataset used consists of chili price data provided by the Department of Agriculture of Soppeng Regency, covering prices from 2018 to April 2024. The developed prediction system is capable of providing accurate price predictions, aiding farmers, traders, and consumers in production and purchasing planning. This algorithm is highly effective in predicting small chili prices and offers significant benefits to farmers, traders, and consumers in the region. The system was tested using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results showed that the prediction error, measured using MAE, was 2730.83. Meanwhile, the User Acceptance Testing yielded a questionnaire score of 86.27%, indicating that the system has excellent performance and is highly suitable for use. It is hoped that this system will provide benefits to the entire community, especially small chili farmers, in production planning.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology, the web has become a very popular platform for providing information services and digital content, especially in education sector. The popularity of web services such as e-learning is directly proportional to the increasing number of users. The increase in the number of users is often a problem because it can lead to decreased web performance and potential downtime. To overcome this problem, this study proposes Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Varnish Cache as solutions. Web performance evaluation was carried out in a campus internal network using Apache JMeter with a load of 1,000 users. Based on the evaluation, there was a 175.5% increase in throughput, from 51.9 to 142.9 requests per second. In terms of response time, it improved by 54.3%, decreasing from 16,476 ms to 7,526 ms. Additionally, latency was reduced by 82.4%, from 3,555.8 ms to 624.8 ms. The error rate also decreased from 31.4% to 17.2%. These results indicate that CDN implementation can effectively improve web server performance and provide an optimal user experience, especially under high load conditions.

Abstract

Cattle farming plays an important role in Indonesia's economy, but its productivity can decline due to livestock health issues. To address this, this study develops a cattle disease diagnosis system based on machine learning using the Random Forest classification method. The system helps farmers identify diseases independently based on input symptoms. The model is built using the Random Forest algorithm, trained on 1745 primary data obtained from the Barru Regency Department of Agriculture. The data undergoes a comprehensive pre-processing stage, including cleaning to remove inconsistencies, One-Hot Encoding for categorical feature transformation, and class balancing using the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to ensure fair representation of all disease categories. Model evaluation using a Confusion Matrix demonstrates a high accuracy of 91%, indicating strong predictive performance. Based on the model, a mobile application based on Android is developed to assist farmers in the early detection of cattle diseases.

Abstract

The SAPEDA application in Pangkep Regency currently lacks a feature that allows prospective students to determine the nearest school to their residence. This has led to an inefficient school selection process and unequal distribution of students. The aim of this research is to develop a zoning system for the SAPEDA application at Madrasah Aliyah in Pangkep Regency. The study employs the Haversine Formula in the zoning feature to calculate the distance between students' homes and nearby schools, offering an effective approach to improve the SAPEDA system. This will help prospective students choose the nearest school, reduce transportation costs, and promote equitable access to education. The research procedure includes a literature review, interviews, system design, system development, and testing. Results from a questionnaire based on the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) show that the system is well-received and positively evaluated by respondents, with an average score of 90.62%, categorized as Excellent. This indicates, that the system has successfully provided benefits, ease of use, and has met users' expectations across various evaluated aspects, resulting in a high level of satisfaction

Abstract

The increasing number of cyberattacks targeting web applications has made security a critical concern, with vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Broken Authentication, and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) remaining prevalent in the OWASP Top 10. These threats can lead to data breaches, service disruption, and reputational damage if not properly mitigated. To address this issue, an infrastructure combining Open-AppSec Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Varnish Cache Content Delivery Network (CDN) was implemented on a Moodle-based e-learning platform within a virtualized Proxmox VE environment. Security testing was conducted using OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite under two scenarios: without WAF and with WAF. In the first scenario, OWASP ZAP detected multiple vulnerabilities, and Burp Suite confirmed successful exploitation with 200 OK responses. In the second scenario, all vulnerabilities were eliminated, and all simulated attacks returned 403 Forbidden responses, indicating complete mitigation. Performance tests revealed a manageable overhead, with throughput reaching 115.4 req/sec at 1000 concurrent users, accompanied by a slight increase in response time and latency. These results demonstrate that integrating Open-AppSec with CDN infrastructure can effectively protect against application-layer attacks while maintaining optimal content delivery performance. Limitations of this study include testing within a simulated environment; therefore, future work could validate these findings on larger-scale systems and with real-world traffic to assess broader generalizability.

Abstract

Select random is a query in a SQL database that can retrieve data randomly from a table. Select random is often used to present data in various applications such as websites, data mining and others. Unfortunately, ordinary select random query is inefficient in terms of processing time if used in large table. This paper, tries to solve this problem by proposing two optimized methods of select random query, namely the Small Percentage Order by Rand (SPO-Rand) and the Filtered Column Order by Rand (FCO-Rand). The two proposed methods are then compared in terms of processing speed with a standard Select Random query or Normal Order by Rand (NO-Rand). The scenario of the experiment is to collect five random data from several data sets, ranging from 10.000 to 200.000 data. Based on the results of experiments that have been conducted, the proposed FCO-Rand method obtained the best process speed with 0.074 seconds at 200.000 data, followed by SPO-Rand with 0.265 seconds. These result are much faster than the standard random select method (NO-Rand) which takes up to 7,035 seconds for the same task.

Abstract

Program vaksinasi Covid-19 bertujuan memberi kekebalan tubuh yang diharapkan dapat memutus mata rantai penyebaran penyakit tersebut. Penyebab masih terdapat penolakan vaksinasi Covid-19 adalah karena kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan terkait vaksin tersebut. Edukasi kepada masyarakat menjadi kunci keberhasilan program Vaksinasi Covid-19. Peningkatan edukasi dapat dilakukan memanfaatkan media untuk mempermudah penyampaian informasi. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memanfaatkan media dalam upaya edukasi tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 pada mahasiswa di Kota Jayapura. Kegiatan berupa edukasi melalui media WhatsApp Group kepada 51 mahasiswa kesehatan Universitas Cenderawasih yang belum mengikuti vaksinasi Covid-19. Hasil kegiatan menyimpulkan bahwa edukasi online memberi dampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang vaksinasi Covid-19.
