Abstract

This study aims to design and produce a stop motion graphic animation video oriented to STEAM global warming material that is used as a learning medium and to determine the response of students at MTs Manbaul Huda Ngaluran Karanganyar Demak to stop motion graphic animation video oriented STEAM global warming material. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which refers to the Borg and Gall development procedure. This research includes 7 stages. The trial was carried out after going through a validity test by media experts and material experts. The trial was carried out at MTs Manbaul Huda Ngaluran Karanganyar Demak involving 28 students of class VII. meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses qualitative data from quantitative data for the development of STEAM-oriented video stop motion graphic animation products for global warming material in order to determine the feasibility of the developed media. The results showed that the media was feasible to use based on the percentage of media experts of 92% and material experts of 84.8%, the response of students to stop motion videos was very satisfied based on the results of small-scale trials getting an average score percentage of 96.95% and the test Field trials get an average score percentage of 85.7% which means that the stop motion graphic animation video media oriented to STEAM global warming material can be accepted by students.

Abstract

The number of cases of stunting toddler in Paser Regency increased by 6.66% from 2018 to 2019%. The increased in the number of stunting toddler in Paser Regency shows that the efforts made by the Paser Regency Government have not been effective in reducing the prevalence of stunting toddler because the stunting toddler rate in Paser Regency is still above the threshold set by the World Health Organization (WHO), which is a maximum of 20%. Therefore, an appropriate strategy is needed to find out which areas receive special attention and treatment, one of method to be used is cluster analysis. Cluster analysis is divided into two methods, namely the hierarchical method and the non-hierarchical method. The non-hierarchical method begins by establishing the number of groups. One of the methods included in the non-hierarchical method is K-medoids. In this study, clustering will be carried out in cases of stunting toddlers in Paser Regency using the K-medoids method. This study aims to determine the optimal cluster formed by selecting the smallest Davies Buoldin Index (DBI) value from the 2019 Community Health Center grouping in Paser Regency. The clusters formed for the K-medoids method in this study were 2 clusters, 3 clusters, and 4 clusters. Based on the results of the analysis, the K-medoids method for 2 clusters, 3 clusters and 4 clusters was based on the DBI values ​​of 0.977, 1.470, and 1.670, respectively. The optimal group for classifying stunting toddler cases in Paser Regency in 2019 is 2 cluster using K-medoids method.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang berkualitas membutuhkan perhatian pada metode, strategi, dan model pembelajaran yang terus berkembang. Berbagai konsep terkait telah diperkenalkan dan disempurnakan oleh para ahli pendidikan. Metode pembelajaran merupakan teknik yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar siswa, termasuk inquiry learning, expository learning, ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, studi kasus, dan bermain peran. Strategi pembelajaran adalah rencana kegiatan untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, seperti diferensiasi pembelajaran dan penilaian formatif. Sementara strategi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh siswa mencakup strategi kognitif, metakognitif, dan afektif. Model pembelajaran mencakup berbagai pendekatan seperti Model 4-C, Inquiry Learning, Expository Learning, bermain peran, studi kasus, demonstrasi, diskusi, dan ceramah. Ada juga Model 4-P yang terdiri dari tahapan berlatih, siap, melakukan, dan merefleksi. Penggunaan metode, strategi, dan model pembelajaran harus mempertimbangkan kebutuhan dan kemampuan siswa serta adaptasi terhadap lingkungan belajar mereka. Kombinasi yang efektif dari elemen-elemen ini dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang mendukung, memotivasi, dan memperkaya pengalaman siswa. Pendekatan holistik yang memperhitungkan gaya belajar, pemahaman, dan tantangan individu dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Kombinasi bijaksana dari metode, strategi, dan media pembelajaran menjadi kunci dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran efektif. Persiapan siswa untuk abad ke-21 memerlukan pendekatan yang inklusif untuk menghasilkan keterampilan yang relevan. Keseluruhan, pengembangan pendekatan yang fleksibel dan holistik dalam pengajaran dapat memperkaya dan mempersiapkan siswa dengan keterampilan yang mereka butuhkan untuk masa depan.

Abstract

Sebagai upaya dalam optimalisasi media konsultasi dalam membantu Perguruan Tinggi dalam mendeteksi permasalahan mahasiswanya serta mendukung program pemerintah dalam mengatasi 3 dosa besar dunia pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang program aplikasi sebagai media interaktif dalam memantau permasalahan mahasiswa sekaligus sebagai media konsultasi dalam membantu Dosen Pembimbing Akademik (PA). Metode perancangan aplikasi yang digunakan menggunakan metode user-centered design (UCD) sampai menghasilkan prototype sebagai gambaran aplikasi mobile yang dibuat. Kelebihan menggunakan metode user-centered design (UCD) adalah pengalaman pengguna yang lebih baik, solusi yang dapat dipercaya, mereduksi resiko kesalahan, tingkat kepuasan pengguna yang lebih tinggi, inovasi lebih baik, serta mengurangi peluang aplikasi gagal. Aplikasi yang dirancang terdiri dari 6 modul yaitu login aplikasi, profil pengguna, percakapan mahasiswa, daftar permasalahan mahasiswa, informasi mahasiswa, dan deteksi permasalahan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan penilaian terhadap perancangan terhadap aplikasi didapatkan hasil 85% responden menganggap prototype aplikasi sangat baik.

Abstract

Introduction: The management of large-angle strabismus can be difficult for surgeons, and successful outcomes may require multiple surgeries. However, modern surgical techniques aim to achieve desired results with a single operation. Muscle transplantation is one such technique that increases the effective muscle length, allowing for a large correction in a one-stage surgery. Objective: To report the outcome of muscle transplantation surgery in large-angle strabismus. Case Illustration: Three patients presented with large-angle strabismus, of which two cases showed >50∆ ET and one case had >50∆XT. All patients had normal anterior and posterior segment findings and underwent muscle transplantation under general anaesthesia. The first and second cases showed good alignment post-surgery, with no limitations in ocular motility in all gaze directions and improved visual acuity. However, none of the cases achieved stereoscopic vision due to chronic strabismus. In the third case, improvement in the primary position was observed two weeks post-operative, but ocular motility still had limitations. Conclusion: Muscle transplantation is a good option to correct large-angle strabismus, specifically in the unilateral case in a single procedure.

Abstract

A plastic optical fiber with the structure of U-bent was utilized as a sensor to detect lard adulterants in olive oil. The macro bending was formed on the plastic optical fiber with a bending radius of 10 mm, 12.5 mm, and 15 mm. The output spectra and intensity were measured to detect the existence of lard substance in olive oil. The U-bent plastic optical fiber sensor with a bending radius of 12.5 mm has the optimum performance to detect the lard adulterant substance in olive oil. It has a sensitivity of 4.6 a.u/% with 855 nm LED source and 10.07 a.u/% with 940 nm LED source in intensity-based measurement and 0.50 nm/% in spectrum-based measurement. The proposed sensor is the potential to give rapid detection on lard adulterant in edible oil.

In making decisions 1 to Determine the cost of school tuition, especially in educational institutions.
