Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah mengubah mekanisme pembelajaran dari offline menjadi online, berdampak pada pemahaman siswa, terutama dalam hal penggunaan teknologi. Pembelajaran online kurang optimal dan menimbulkan kebosanan. Oleh karena itu, perlu peningkatan keterampilan dan pemahaman mereka tentang teknologi yang dilakukan dengan mekanisme yang tepat. Untuk itulah tim melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian (PKM) di SMK-BP Subulul Huda secara offline dengan tetap mengedepankan protokol kesehatan guna antisipasi penyebaran virus COVID-19. Topik kegiatan ini adalah sistem kontrol dan pemantauan ketinggian air berbasis Arduino menggunakan LabVIEW. Tujuannya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengetahuan, kreativitas, dan penerapan teknologi siswa SMK BP Subulul Huda di tengah pandemi COVID-19. Terdapat tiga tahapan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan, yakni persiapan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan persiapan telah dilakukan sebelum pelaksanaan PKM. Kegiatan selanjutnya adalah implementasi penyuluhan yang telah terlaksana dengan lancar dengan dihadiri oleh 30 siswa jurusan Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL). Selanjutnya, dilakukan evaluasi secara langsung pada peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan setelah kegiatan PKM, baik pada pemahaman akan pentingnya menerapkan protokol kesehatan maupun dalam bidang teknis. Sekitar 76,7% atau 23 dari 30 peserta penyuluhan menilai bahwa kegiatan penyuluhan memberikan manfaat dalam peningkatan pemahaman aplikasi protokol kesehatan pencegahan COVID-19, baik di dalam ruangan maupun di luar ruangan. Pemahaman teknis peserta penyuluhan pun meningkat, dari rata-rata 55,26 menjadi 83,87 setelah menerima materi oleh tim pelaksana PKM.

Abstract

This community service activity is focused on the implementation of education and training on high-flow electrical installations by utilizing lecture and discussion methods. This training is organized systematically to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the technical and safety aspects of overhead electrical installations. The overhead electrical installation is one of the important components in the railway system. This activity aims to improve basic understanding of railway orientation, especially related to overhead electrical installations. This activity was carried out online through the zoom application on May 21, 2024 and was attended by participants from the Balai Teknik Perkeretaapian Kelas II Palembang. Participants showed high enthusiasm during the training. This can be seen from the participants' activeness in discussion and question and answer sessions. The tangible results of this community service activity show an increase in participants' understanding of overhead electrical installations which is reflected in the post-training evaluation. The knowledge gained during this activity is expected to be applied in daily work activities in each participant's duty area to support improved performance and operational safety in the railway sector.

Abstract

The Battery Management System (BMS) is important because more and more electronic devices and vehicles use batteries as a power source. Without BMS, battery charging can become unstable, resulting in overcharging and reducing battery life. Therefore, BMS is becoming increasingly important as part of the development of safer and more efficient technologies, resulting in more reliable and safer electronic devices and vehicles. The Coulomb Counting method is used to determine the state of charge of the battery at the beginning and end of charging. The coulomb counting method is very accurate for determining the state of charge because it calculates the incoming and outgoing electric charge from the read current value. The voltage from source to load uses a buck converter to step down the voltage from 27.3V source to 25.5V load voltage. The Coulomb Counting (CC) method is used to estimate the SOC of the battery being monitored. The CC method is accurate for estimating the SOC value during charging and discharging but cannot determine the initial SOC value. The results of the current test have an accuracy of 96.03% and the voltage test has an accuracy of 99.22%.

Abstract

South Boulevard traction substation with the output of the rectifier of 750VDC and 4000A against LRV loading under normal and abnormal conditions. This research was conducted with data sources in the form of specifications for traction substation equipment, 3rd rail specifications, and LRV specifications. The power generated by the South Boulevard traction substation under normal and upnormal conditions will be compared with the LRV load when the headway is narrowed, the train set is added, and the voltage drop is measured. The traction substation is said to be able to bear the load when the power used by the load does not exceed the power provided by the traction substation so that the LRV operation can run. The results of the analysis stated that under normal conditions the capacity of the South Boulevard to Pulomas traction substation obtained the smallest value of 2 minutes headway for 2 train sets at 1806,1KW power with a drop voltage of 30V and the capacity of the South Boulevard to North Boulevard traction substation obtained the smallest value of 2 minutes headway for 2 train sets at 1697,9KW power with a drop voltage of 27,4V. Upnormal condition of the capacity of the South Boulevard to Pegangsaan Dua traction substation, the smallest headway value was 5 minutes for 2 train sets at 1643,2KW power with a drop voltage of 45V and the capacity of the South Boulevard to Equestrian traction substation was obtained the smallest value of 4 minutes headway for 2 train sets at 1651,5KW power a drop voltage of 36,4V.
