Abstract

Algebraic thinking skills are important for students because algebraic thinking will promote ways to interpret mathematics. The results of preliminary research on the algebraic thinking ability of PGMI students showed an average problem solving of 18.46, mathematical modelling of 18.26, reasoning ability of 5.54, analytical thinking of 8.8 and generalization of 17, with a maximum value of 20. These results indicate that for indicators of analytical thinking and reasoning students are still low. This study aims to develop an e-book of algebraic thinking skills integrated with habits of mind and Islamic characters for prospective elementary school teachers. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The developed e-book was validated by several experts including media experts, material experts and Islamic experts to ensure the quality of the e-book produced before the field trial. Product trials were conducted on 230 PGMI students. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the feasibility of the algebraic thinking ability e-book integrated with habits of mind and Islamic characters is categorized as very good, with a value of 4.77 from a maximum scale of 5 while practicality obtained a score of 4.11 in the good category

Abstract

Gadgets provide extensive access to a variety of information and entertainment, but uncontrolled use can have a negative impact on children's development. Therefore, parents have an important role in accompanying early childhood when using gadgets. The Community Service Lecture through the Parenting Seminar was held at Kindergarten DHARMAWANITA 03 Pomahan. The holding of this seminar aims to make parents wise in regulating the use of gadgets in children. Therefore, participants of KPM 29 Multidisciplinary IAIN Ponorogo provide an alternative solution in the form of parenting seminars to parents to reduce excessive dependence on gadgets in children. The method in this service uses the Asset-Based Community-Driven Development (ABCD) approach. The ABCD method emphasizes the identification and utilization of community-owned assets to develop sustainable solutions for guardians. The result of this seminar is that parents now have a more comprehensive understanding of the supervision of gadget use for children and how children can be considered healthy, not only in physical aspects, but also mentally and socially.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama dan budi pekerti merupakan unsur penting dalam Kurikulum Merdeka PAUD untuk membentuk kepribadian anak sejak dini. Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi guru dalam menanamkan nilai agama dan budi pekerti pada anak usia dini di TK 3 Pomahan. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan ABCD dengan metode pemetaan aset individu untuk mengidentifikasi keterampilan dan potensi guru, orang tua, serta peserta didik. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi keteladanan guru, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan pengondisian lingkungan. Guru di TK 3 Pomahan membiasakan peserta didik dengan salam, makan/minum sambil duduk, dan menggunakan kata-kata sopan. Pembiasaan berdoa, menjaga kebersihan, serta tampilan visual di kelas juga menjadi bagian dari strategi ini. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan yang konsisten dan dukungan dari orang tua efektif dalam membentuk karakter dan budi pekerti anak usia dini. Strategi ini menjadi model penting dalam pendidikan nilai agama dan budi pekerti di TK 3 Pomahan.

Abstract

Misconceptions in algebra are a common issue encountered in mathematics learning. To address this problem, teachers and educators need tools that can accurately detect students' misconceptions. This study aims to develop a four-tier diagnostic test instrument to detect junior high school students' misconceptions in algebraic thinking. The type of research used is development research, adopting the Oriondo Dallo Antonio development model, which includes three stages: (1) test planning, (2) test trials, and (3) test trial result analysis. The trials were conducted in June 2024 with 118 seventh-grade students from junior high schools in Ponorogo. The data analysis used in this research includes several analyses, such as validity analysis using the product-moment correlation, reliability analysis using Cronbach's alpha, and item difficulty analysis using the Item Mean Difficulty (D) method under the classical test theory approach. The results showed that the four-tier diagnostic test instrument for diagnosing junior high school students' misconceptions in algebraic thinking consists of 17 valid items divided into four algebraic ability indicators: analytical thinking, problem-solving, generalization, and mathematical modeling. The instrument's reliability is 0.759, categorized as reliable. In this study, the majority of the developed items fell into the medium difficulty category, totaling 16 items. Only one item was in the easy category, and none fell into the difficult category

Abstract

This study integrates the dimensions of the Big Five personality traits with an Islamic perspective (Shiddiq or truthfulness; Amanah or trustworthiness; Tabligh or conveying; and Fathonah or wisdom) to explore the success of women’s leadership. The main problem underlying this study is the lack of understanding of the influence of Islamic values on personality characteristics that support the success of women’s leadership in Islamic higher education (IHE) through an inclusive leadership approach. The relevance of this study lies in the importance of identifying personality factors and religious values that can improve the effectiveness of women’s leadership in Islamic educational environments. Quantitative research using a survey method with partial least squares-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) analysis on 111 respondents consisting of stakeholders in three IHEs in Indonesia using structured questionnaires as a data collection technique. The main findings indicate that Islamic values, such as Shiddiq and Amanah have a significant positive influence on personality characteristics such as conscientiousness (CON) and agreeableness (AGR), which have a direct impact on the success of women’s inclusive leadership. The conclusion of this study underscores the importance of leadership training programs that focus on the integration of Islamic values and personality characteristics to strengthen women's inclusive leadership skills.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze elementary school students' mathematical problem-solving abilities according to Polya Theory. This research combines the Concurrent Triangulation type, which combines qualitative and quantitative research methods simultaneously, both in data collection and analysis. Data was collected using tests, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were 25 grade IV students at MI Qubbataul Islam. Quantitative data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive, and qualitative data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. Test the validity of quantitative data, test students' mathematical problem-solving abilities using the Product Moment Correlation validity test and test reliability using Cronbach's Alpha. Qualitative data validity techniques were tested using triangulation and reference adequacy. The research results show that students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are still in the medium category, with 8% having mathematical problem-solving skills in the high class, 80% in the medium category, and 12% in the low sort.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa disebabkan karena pada proses pembelajaran matematika siswa belum mendapat perhatian dari guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis serta belum mampu menyelesaikan soal matematika dengan alternatif jawaban yang kreatif dan bervariasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran CPS  menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional (ceramah), menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran CPS  dan siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran konvesional (ceramah). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Man-Whitney U Test, dan uji Independent Sampel T-test. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran CPS memperoleh nilai tertinggi 90 dan nilai terendah 65 dengan rata-rata sebesar 79,52. Kategori tinggi 16%, sedang 72%, dan rendah 12%. (2) kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional memperoleh nilai tertinggi 80 dan nilai terendah 50 dengan rata-rata sebesar 61,19. Kategori tinggi 12%, sedang 72%, dan rendah 12%. (3) hasil uji Man-Whitney U Test dan uji Independent Sampel T-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 Maka Ho ditolak, yang berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran CPS dan siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran konvensional (ceramah).
