Abstract

The purpose of this study is to quantify the effect of company?s characteristics and corporate governance towards audit quality in companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Independent board, board size, foreign ownership, ownership concentration, profitability as well as institutional ownership is used in this study. The amount of 618 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2013-2017 is used in this study. Purposive sampling method is used in the study. Financial statements of company that was published (www.idx.co.id) used as the sample of this study. The calibration of data which was obtained with binary logistic regression will be process using the program of SPSS version 25.0. This research shows that board size, foreign ownership and profitability proved to have a positive and significant relation on audit quality. This research also shows that institutional ownership does not have a significant relationship on audit quality while board independence has a negative relationship towards audit quality.

Abstract

Balai desa Supiturang merupakan bangunan multifungsi yang digunakan untuk mewadahi aktivitas warga desa Supiturang, kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang. Bangunan balai desa ini merupakan satu-satunya fasum yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat desa. Namun demikian, balai desa ini masih minim perhatian untuk pemeliharaan sehingga saat ini ada beberapa kerusakan di balai desa membutuhkan renovasi. Hal ini melatarbelakangi dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi desain zonasi (zoning) berdasarkan analisis konsep sustainable architecture, desain gambar kerja 2D dan visualisasi 3D. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat FT UM berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan kepala desa setempat. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa dokumen gambar kerja dan gambar visual 3D gedung balai desa. Diharapkan dari hasil perancangan ini dapat dimanfaatkan bagi masyarakat setempat dalam melaksanakan tahapan renovasi dan mengenal desain bangunan yang responsif terhadap iklim setempat sebagai respon konsep sustainable architecture.

Abstract

Adapun rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh harga dan citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian pada CV Sinco Jaya Abadi Pematangsiantar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan. Populasinya adalah seluruh konsumen CV Sinco Jaya Abadi Pematangsiantar yang berjumlah 50 orang. Data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif, dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode kuesioner, metode wawancara dan metode dokumentasi. Kemudian teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan metode deskriptif kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian: 1. Harga, citra merek dan keputusan pembelian sudah baik. 2. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda adalah Ŷ= 12,419 + 0,567X1 + 0,677X2, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara harga dan citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian pada CV Sinco Jaya Abadi Pematangsiantar. 3. Hasil koefisien korelasi diperoleh r = 0,752, yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan positif antara harga dan citra merek dengan keputusan pembelian pada CV Sinco Jaya Abadi Pematangsiantar. 4. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,566, artinya tinggi rendahnya keputusan pembelian konsumen sebesar 56,6% dapat dijelaskan oleh harga dan citra merek. 5. Hasil uji hipotesis H0 ditolak, artinya harga dan citra merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada CV Sinco Jaya Abadi Pematangsiantar baik secara simultan maupun parsial.

Abstract

In an era of increasingly intense business competition, employee performance has become a crucial factor in enhancing a company's productivity and competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the influence of the compensation system on employee performance at PT Surya Toto Indonesia, a manufacturing company specializing in sanitation products. The research adopts a qualitative approach to gain an in-depth understanding of the relationship between compensation and employee performance. The object of the study is the compensation system implemented in the company, including base salary, position allowances, tenure-based pay, education incentives, and overtime compensation. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of employees from various levels and departments, including human resources personnel, supervisors, and operational staff. Data were collected through in-depth interviews using open-ended questions and supported by documentation analysis, such as internal policy documents and performance reports. The data analysis process involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing through thematic analysis. The findings reveal that the compensation system is designed fairly and transparently, and serves as a key motivator for employees, positively influencing their performance, job satisfaction, and loyalty to the company. The study concludes that appropriate and comprehensive compensation not only boosts employee productivity but also strengthens professionalism within the organization, making it a strategic element in maintaining competitive advantage.

Abstract

This service is entitled Recruitment and HR performance assessment at the ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative, Tangul Jaya Village, Banten Subdistrict, Kasemen District, Serang City, Banten Province. This service was carried out on Saturday, August 3 2024, which was attended by 22 students and 1 supervisor at Pamulang University. This Community Service aims to analyze the recruitment process and performance assessment of human resources (HR) at the ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative, Tanggul Jaya Village, Banten Village, Kasemen District, Serang City, Banten Province. The ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative is an economic institution that plays an important role in improving the welfare of its members and the surrounding community. However, the main challenge faced is how to recruit quality human resources and carry out performance assessments effectively to ensure the achievement of cooperative goals. This Community Service uses survey methods and direct material delivery as well as simulations and discussions regarding management, financial management and product marketing via WhatsApp Business. This Community Service activity succeeded in providing understanding to ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative Members regarding Recruitment and performance assessment, Financial Management and Product marketing via business WhatsApp social media. In this way, it is hoped that this cooperative can improve the quality of its human resources and, in turn, strengthen its competitiveness and contribution to the welfare of its members and society.
