Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh keaktifan mengikuti pramuka terhadap karakter kepedulian sosial siswa generasi alpha,  mengetahui pengaruh keaktifan mengikuti pramuka terhadap kedisiplinan siswa generasi alpha, dan mengetahui severapa besar pengaruh keaktifan mengikuti pramuka terhadap karakter soaial siswa generasi alpha, (4) mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kedisiplinan terhadap karakter sosial siswa generasi alpha. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korasional. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan SEM PLS dengan 60 sampel siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI SDN Baraya II Kota Makassar. Berdasarkan nilai koefisien jalur didapatkan bahwa variabel keaktifan mengikuti pramuka tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap karakter kepedulian sosial siswa generasi alpha. Variabel keaktifan mengikuti pramuka memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan siswa generasi alpha. Variabel keaktifan mengikuti pramuka memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel karakter sosial. Variabel kepedulian sosial tidak memiliki pengaruh yang singnifikan dengan nilai koefisien. This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of active participation in scouts on the social care character of alpha generation students, (2) the effect of active participation in scouts on the discipline of alpha generation students, (3) how the effect of active participation in scouts on the social character of alpha generation students, (4) how discipline affects the social character of alpha generation students. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational method. Data processing was carried out using the SEM PLS approach with 60 samples of students in grades IV, V, and VI of SDN Baraya II Makassar City. Based on the coefficient value, it is found that the scouting activity variable does not have a significant influence on the social care character of alpha generation students. The scouting activity variable has a significant influence on the discipline of alpha generation students and the scouting activity variable has a significant influence on the social character variable. The social care variable does not have a significant influence with the coefficient value.

Abstract

The development of internet technology is very  fast, the types of social media are very diverse, one of which is the Tik tok application. The use of the Tiktok application continues to develop. The tiktok application can provide a sense of satisfaction for application users. Where, users of the Tiktok social media feel satisfied when they are in contact with the Tiktok application. This study aims to determine the effect of using Tiktok on the life satisfaction of late teenagers at the University Palopo, to describe what are the effects of using Tiktok on life satisfaction of late adolescents. This research is entitled The effect of using tick marks on life  satisfaction in late teenagers at the University of Palopo in 2023. The research method used for this research is a quantitative method. In this study, data were collected using a questionnaire given to the research sample concerned. before the questionnaire is used, the researcher will first test the measuring instrument by testing the validity and reliability. The results showed that there was an effect of using Tiktok on the life satisfaction of late teenagers, as evidenced by the t count of 57.719> t table; 1,990. In addition, based on the significance value of the coefficients table, the nsig value is obtained. 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an influence that the use of tiktok has a positive effect on the life satisfaction of late teenagers at the University of Palopo in 2023.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between religiosity and celebrity worship behavior among adolescents. With the increasing influence of media and celebrity culture, the phenomenon of celebrity worship—excessive affection for celebrities—has become a significant concern in social psychology research. Religiosity, which encompasses the intensity and commitment to religious beliefs, plays an important role in shaping individual values and behaviors; however, its impact on celebrity worship is not fully understood. This research employs a quantitative method with a correlational design to evaluate the relationship between levels of religiosity and celebrity worship behavior, focusing on adolescents aged 15-17 through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using an online questionnaire and analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation. The results indicate a correlation between religiosity and celebrity worship behavior with a correlation coefficient of 0.392%. These findings provide important insights into how religious values can minimize adolescents' tendencies to engage in celebrity worship behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of brainstorming techniques in group guidance services on student learning motivation at SMP Negeri 4 Palopo. The background comes from the low motivation of students to learn which can be seen from the lack of participation in the learning process, lack of interest in the subject matter, and the tendency to be passive in the classroom. Through participatory approaches such as brainstorming, students are given the space to express their ideas, opinions and experiences freely without fear of being judged, which is expected to increase their enthusiasm and engagement in learning. This study used a quantitative method with a one group pretest-posttest quasi experimental design. A sample of 20 students was purposively selected based on the level of motivation which was classified as low to moderate. Data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed with the Paired Sample T-Test test through the SPSS program. The results showed a significant increase in student learning motivation after being given the treatment, with an average pretest score of 41 which increased to 51.35 in the posttest, and a significance value of 0.000. These results prove that the brainstorming technique is effective in increasing students' learning motivation and can be an alternative group guidance service strategy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun prototipe cigarette smoke detector system yang berbasis mikrokontroller Arduino Mega 2560 dan SMS Gateway untuk melindungi perokok pasif dari paparan asap rokok. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model prototipe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe dapat mendeteksi asap rokok dan akan memberikan alarm berupa bunyi dari buzzer yang disertai dengan kedipan LED. Adapun fitur sms gateway menggunakan bantuan modul bluetooth HC 05 yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi android. Kelebihan dari adanya penggunaan aplikasi android ini adalah aplikasi dapat memberikan notifikasi, sehingga notifikasi tidak hanya berasal dari segi hardwarenya (prototipe), namun juga dari software/aplikasi android tersebut. Selain itu, penggunaan aplikasi juga dapat digunakan sekaligus sebagai media untuk memonitor sensor.
