Abstract

Limnocharis flava L., is a plant native to Latin America and tropical regions that has been introduced to South and East Asia. This plant is a potential source of nutrition as it contains various nutrients, including protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants. It is commonly consumed as a vegetable, and its leaves and flowers have a high economic value and are sold in traditional and modern markets. The cultivation of genjer has promising potential, as observed in some areas of Indonesia where it can be grown on a large scale with good profitability. Therefore, a study was conducted on the potential cultivation of Limnocharis flava L in improving the economic income of communities in Southeast Aceh. The research used an exploratory method, including surveys, observations, and questionnaire results in Southeast Aceh district. Although genjer is still not widely cultivated, observations in several areas in Indonesia have shown that the plant can be grown on a large scale with good profitability. Genjer farmers in Southeast Aceh have an average income of Rp.619,632 per month. Keywords: Economic, Genjer, Food, simple, Traditional.

Abstract

Ethical leadership encourages positive employee behavior and enhances organizational performance by emphasizing ethical dimensions in management. The key elements of ethical leadership include honesty, integrity, trust, and fairness. Ethical leaders integrate moral principles into their values, beliefs, and actions while respecting the rights and dignity of others. This study aims to analyze the ethical leadership factors that influence corporate performance. Multiple regression analysis is used to evaluate the relationship between ethical leadership and employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara II (Persero) Regional I. The Saturation Sampling method is applied to determine the sample. The tests conducted include classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and data quality tests. The study results indicate that the telling and selling leadership styles do not significantly affect employee performance. Conversely, participative and delegative leadership styles have a positive impact. The simultaneous significance test shows that independent variables collectively influence the dependent variable, with the F-calculated value exceeding the F-table value and a significance probability below 0.05. This indicates that ethical leadership involving participation and delegation is more effective in improving employee performance.

Abstract

To date, no scientific studies have been conducted to determine tree species richness and carbon content in the Pasir Nunang Village Forest, Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. This study aims to determine the tree species diversity index and carbon content in the Pasir Nunang Village Forest, Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. Quantitative research then research a purposive sampling method was employed, taking into account variations in topography and slope. Research data sample at the research locations in the north and south were made into plots measuring 40 m x 40 m on the right and left of the transect in a zigzag manner without any intervals of 10 plots, resulting in a total of 20 plots at the research location. Field data collection was conducted from June 22 to July 10, 2024, within the forest area of Pasir Nunang Village, Southeast Aceh Regency. Data collection through observations was conducted on tree stands with a diameter of >20 cm, measuring the tree trunk diameter at chest height of an adult. Data analysis included the calculation of vegetation species diversity index (Shannon–Wiener, H’) and carbon storage was analyzed using allometric equations. The results identified a total of 28 tree species belonging to 16 families, comprising 162 individual trees. The Shannon–Wiener diversity index (H’) reached a maximum value of 3.12. The estimated total aboveground carbon stock in the Pasir Nunang Village Forest was 354.23 tons ha⁻¹.
