Abstract

Asphyxia neonatorum is a condition when a newborn baby experiencing spontaneous and regular breathing failure. It is the main cause of newborn death in the developing countries with rate of 21.1%, ones of the maternal factors that contribute to a.n are preeclampsia and eclampsia. The purpose of the research is to analyze the relationships of hypertension history and parity with asphyxia neonatorum case on mothers with severe preeclampsia. The subjects are 40 babies with and 40 babies without asphyxia case born by mothers with severe preeclampsia. The research type is quantitative research, analytical observation method, design case-control, and a retrospective approach with study of documentations in the year 2014 in the Provincial Hospital of Panembahan Senopati Bantul. The analysis methods are the bivariat analysis with Chi-Square test, and multivariate analysis with logistic regression test. The mother with a history of hypertension risk 11.9 times greater than without a history of hypertension (OR = 11.9; CI 95% = 1.92 - 73.79; p = 0.008). The mother was birthing the risk of primipara babies with asphyxia is 3.43 times greater than that of multipara (OR = 3.43; CI 95% = 1.08 - 10.88; p = 0.036). There is a positive relationship and statistically significant between hypertension history and parity with the risks of giving birth for babies with asphyxia case.

Abstract

of the Koran about intellectual education, and the function of intellectual education in an Islamic perspective. Reasonable education, or what is also known as rational education, has an important role in shaping thinking, morality and behavior. individual in Islam. In this context, research will examine the Islamic view of reason as the main instrument in the process of human learning and development. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research produces conclusions in the form of data that describes in detail, not data in the form of numbers (Lexy J. Moleong, 2008). This research is a type of library research, namely research that The object of study uses library data in the form of books as a data source (Sutrisno Hadi, 2002). The research results show that from an Islamic perspective, reason is a special gift given by Allah SWT which will later help humans to carry out their role as caliphs on earth. Reason is given as a gift that must be developed and used wisely. Intellectual education aims to ensure that a person develops his intellect and controls his desires through education, so that a person will become a person who is mentally tough, confident, will not easily fall into vice and is ready to face the tests of life. Intellectual education functions to achieve the essential truth in gathering knowledge (collecting the knowledge), solving the problems faced (problem solving), and looking for more efficient ways to fulfill the goals to be achieved (finding a way).

Abstract

Education in the 21st century is faced with demands to prepare students with skills that are relevant to the dynamics of society and the ever-evolving world of work. Developing a 21st century skills-based curriculum is a must to ensure that graduates not only have academic knowledge, but also the skills necessary to succeed in an era marked by the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This paper explains perspectives in developing a 21st century skills-based curriculum, outlining critical aspects such as critical thinking skills, creativity, effective communication, and collaboration. This perspective addresses the urgent need to integrate 21st century skills into the curriculum, creating relevant and contextual learning experiences. However, the implementation process is not free from a number of challenges that require serious attention. These challenges involve paradigm shifts in teaching and learning approaches, adjustments to assessment methods, and increased stakeholder involvement. In addition, this article also provides an overview of how teachers can develop their skills through a professional development approach that focuses on the needs of a 21st century skills-based curriculum. Through a deep understanding of these perspectives and challenges, it is hoped that we can design effective solutions that can be implemented at various levels of education.
