Abstract

The aims of the research were: (1) producing prevention module of premarital sexual behavior on Senior High School students who were proper according to the experts in order to be used by guidance and counseling teachers/counselors, (2) describing the function of the module to prevent the students from premarital sexual behavior. This research was a development research which was conducted by using ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Research subjects consisted of three experts and twenty three guidance and counseling teachers/counselors. The result of the research shown that the module, the research product, is appropriate to be used to prevent the students from premarital sexual behavior and can be used by the students as well as the guidance and counseling teachers/counselors in preventing the students from premarital sexual behavior.

Abstract

This article contains an analysis of the life meaning of the elderly living in a nursing home. The life meaning is obtained from a theoretical literature review about the life meaning (the results of research from 2009-2020). Based on the theory, the elderly are classified into 4 groups, namely: middle age which is between 45-59 years old, elderly which is between 60-74 years old, old which is between 75-90 years old, and very old which is over 90 years old. The steps in this literature review are identifying key research topics; read abstract of relevant research results; record the reading results by making a literature map (literature map) in sequence; pouring a general view of the research topic based on existing literature, then explaining the originality and importance of the research topic to be carried out in comparison with the existing literature. The study results of this article are useful for guiding the implementation of guidance and counseling for the life meaning of the elderly’s life.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools with their characteristics are a major challenge for new students, starting from being separated from their parents, having binding rules, limited space for movement and various other problems. In this situation, it is not uncommon for new students to cause various problems that even make them desperate to move or even drop out of school. However, Islamic Boarding Schools in South Tapanuli Regency, were able to overcome these various problems as evidenced by the fact that out of 37 first-year students and 87 second-year students in one of the Islamic boarding schools, none were found to have moved or dared to drop out of school. This study aims to examine how Islamic boarding schools are able to overcome the problems of new students' adjustment and they are comfortable living in the Islamic boarding school. This study uses qualitative research with a field study approach. The results of this study indicate that in general, Islamic boarding schools make two efforts to overcome the problems of new students, namely preventive efforts (prevention) which are formulated into two major agendas in the form of intensive training for all educators and compiling supporting agendas, secondly repressive efforts (handling) through three stages, namely diverting with dormitory activities, involving counselors and involving parents and each has its own stages and descriptions.

Abstract

This research aim is to describe the implementation of art therapy technique in individual conseling to explore the problems of introvert students. The research method was qualitative method with case study approach. the research subject was 1 student at x grade students in Tembilahan. The technique in collecting data used interview, observation and documentation. the research data analyzed triangulation data. Based on the result, it shws that the art therapy technique can explore the problems of introvert students. the students can tell their story, and have confidence in solving their problems after following conseling by art therapy technique. art therapy technique in conseling can apply flexsibley as a tool to open the conversation, or combine the media of art therapy technique with the profesional abilty of conseling teacher as communication media in therapeutic relathionship. Abstract

This study investigates the role of maternal piety in shaping children’s personality development based on a thematic interpretation of Surah Ali Imran (verses 35–36). Using a qualitative approach and literature-based design, the study draws data from Qur’anic verses, classical and modern tafsir, and supporting scholarly literature. Data were analyzed through content analysis within a thematic Qur’anic exegesis framework. The findings indicate four central points: (1) children are divine trusts endowed with innate purity, for which mothers bear primary moral responsibility; (2) while both parents share educational roles, fathers tend to fulfill material needs, whereas mothers focus on emotional and psychological nurturing; (3) mothers act as the child’s first educators and moral anchors; and (4) environmental factors play a major role in personality formation, with the mother as the most consistent influence. The study concludes that maternal piety plays a crucial role in shaping the moral, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of a child within Islamic teachings.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to overcome the difficulties of students completing final assignments using a cognitive behavior therapy approach. The analysis applied is based on literature data that has been collected. Data is presented in narrative descriptive form. The results of this research are that counselors try to divert negative thoughts into positive thoughts, giving birth to objectivity and a sense of optimism. Apart from changes in thoughts, this therapy also continues with changes in behavior as a concrete step in overcoming problems. These two actions are carried out simultaneously so that students have positive habits in both cognitive and behavioral aspects. Cognitive and behavioral therapy is carried out with two interventions, namely cognitive intervention and behavioral intervention with four sessions, namely assessment sessions, cognitive therapy sessions, behavioral therapy sessions and cognitive therapy and behavioral therapy evaluation sessions.Keywords: Cognitive, Behavior, Therapy, Difficulty, Thesis AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kesulitan mahasiswa yang menyelesaikan tugas kahir dengan pendekatan cognitive behavior therapy. Analisis yang diterapkan berdasarkan data-data literatur yang telah dikumpulkan. Data disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif naratif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah konselor berupaya untuk mengalihkan pikiran negatif menjadi pikiran positif, melahirkan obyektifitas dan rasa optimisme. Selain perubahan pada pikiran, terapi ini juga dilanjutkan dengan perubahan pada perilaku sebagai langkah konkrit dalam mengatasi masalah-masalah. Kedua tindakan ini dilakukan secara simultan sehingga mahasiswa memiliki kebiasaan positif baik dalam aspek kognitif maupun perilaku. Terapi kognitif dan perilaku dilakukan dengan dua intervensi, yaitu intervensi kognitif dan intervensi perilaku dengan empat sesi, yaitu sesi pengkajian, sesi terapi kognitif, sesi terapi perilaku dan sesi evaluasi terapi kognitif dan terapi perilaku.Kata Kunci: Cognitive, Behavior, Therapy, Kesulitan, Skripsi
