Abstract

Introduction: Stroke is a disease that occurs due to blockage/disruption of blood flow to the brain, which can cause brain tissue death. Ischemic stroke is caused by a sudden loss of blood to the brain and will cause loss of nerve function to paralysis so that stroke patients experience mobility limitations. To overcome this problem can be done with passive range of motion therapy. Method: the method used in this study is a literature review. The source of the article uses the PubMed and Google Scholar databases. Result: Based on 8 journals obtained and reviewed, the results show that passive range of motion therapy is effective for increasing muscle strength in ischemic stroke patients. This exercise can stimulate muscle, which can increase neuromuscular, muscle and chemical activity. Conclusion: Passive range of motion therapy has benefits for increasing muscle strength. In addition, this therapy can also avoid complications of ischemic stroke due to physical mobility barriers experienced by clients such as limitations of some or all of the range of motion, stiffness, muscle weakness, postural disorders, muscle atrophy, pain, joint contractures that can cause disturbances in activities daily living (ADL).

Abstract

ABSTRACTIntroduction: Tuberculosis (TB) is a health problem of global concern. Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the lower respiratory tract. Pulmonary TB treatment for 6 months. The possibility of patients not being obedient to taking medication is very large because of the long treatment time, the large number of drugs, side effects, the patient's lack of awareness of the disease and the patient does not take the drug because he forgets. the use of reminders (mobile health) has the potential to help promote TB treatment adherence. Method: The method used in this study is a literature review. source of articles using Springerlink, PubMed and Scholar database databases.Result: The results of 9 articles assessed that the use of Mobile Health consisted of automatic sms, phone calls, and educational videos. Utilization of various types of mHealth is used according to the needs of the patient. The benefits of Mobile Health are automatic sms and telephone, namely as a reminder to take medication and schedule regular visits. Educational videos provide information about TB and the motivation of the peer group. The use of Mobile Health technology can improve TB patient compliance in treatment with medication reminder methods, regular visit schedules, education, and social support. Some of the benefits of using Mobile Health have been proven by several studies abroad. Conclusion: The use of Mobile Health technology can be an alternative to increase TB patient compliance in treatment with medication reminder methods, regular visit schedules, education, and social support and Mobile Health has a significant influence on the effectiveness and compliance of treatment in pulmonary TB patients.

Abstract

Introduction: Insomnia in the elderly can cause weakness, dizziness, and fatigue. In addition, the psychological impact of poor sleep quality is anxiety, irritability, disturbed concentration, and stress which can increase the risk of suicide. Poor sleep quality can cause nursing problems Sleep Pattern Disorders. One of the interventions that can be given is education on rest activities, namely physical activity or sportsMethod: The method used to achieve a literature review. The literature search was conducted on the PubMed, Science Direct, Google ScholarResult: The results of 10 articles on the types of exercise used include aerobic exercise, elderly exercise, sports, low-intensity and high-intensity physical activity. most articles do exercise for 30 minutes, 2-7x a week, for 3 weeks. The quality of sleep in the elderly has increased after doing sports exercises with an ap value <0.05.Conclusion: Exercise can be an alternative to improve sleep quality in the elderly  Keywords :Elderlysleep quality,Exercise

Abstract

Introduction: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) which can cause pulmonary complications, cardiovascular, and muscular which results in various organ dysfunctions which in turn can reduce the patient's lung functional capacity. This matter can cause a decrease in the patient's oxygen saturation (SpO2), causing hypoxaemia due to inadequate ventilation and perfusion diffusion leading to sepsis to septic shock. For this, various efforts to increase oxygen saturation deficit and decrease mortality, including by means of respiratory rehabilitation in a position prone. Method: This method uses a literature review design by using 3 databases, namely Google Scholar, Science Direct, Pubmed. Result: The results of this literature review using breathing exercises are: prone position. The time span of 10 journals that have been reviewed using average duration of implementation is 2-4 hours per day, with 1-4 times per session scheduled for 4 weeks. A given patient's lung functional capacity x prone position intervention in 10 journals increased, in results it shows that it is statistically significant in increasing Oxygen saturation SpO2 (p < 0.005). Conclution: These results indicate an effective prone position in improving oxygenation.
