Abstract

Research in image processing growth very fast so that it can be applied in many areas such as security, health, entertainment, military, science and technology, industry, robotics, and agriculture. An example of application of information technology in security, which related to identification and verification, employs biometrics, such as DNA, fingerprint, face, palm, and signature. The use of biometrics is believed to be more secure than traditional system, such as password and ID card for authentication purposes. The objective of this research is to design automatic control system by way of identification of face characteristics using Euclidean Distance and Fuzzy C-Means. The face acquisition process utilizes object capturing sensor prior to computer processing. The results demonstrate that the system recognized face characteristics from 5 peoples in the database. The recognition rate of this system out of 10 faces is 35%.Keyword(s): Image processing, Euclidean distance, Fuzzy C-Means.Subject Description : I.5. Pattern Recognition | I.5.5. Abstract

This exploration plans to break down the effect of current retail minimarkets on conventional business sectors from an Islamic monetary point of view in Suka Maju Jati Agung Town, South Lampung. The sort of examination involved is quantitative exploration involving information from research perceptions as surveys and meetings with respondents. Then, at that point, the scientist completed an alternate test utilizing the SPSS 25 information handling application. In view of the aftereffects of the speculation test that has been completed, the accompanying ends can be drawn: In light of the by and large unique experimental outcomes, the Asymp esteem was gotten. signature. in the deals turnover variable, in particular (0.000) < (0.05) so Ho is dismissed so it very well may be reasoned that there is a huge contrast in turnover in conventional slows down when the presence of Alfamart and Indomaret minimarkets. In the mean time, in the general contrast test results, the Asymp esteem. signature. in the variable number of purchasers, to be specific (0.000) < (0.05), then Ho is dismissed so it very well may be reasoned that there is a huge distinction in the quantity of purchasers of customary slows down when the presence of Alfamart and Indomaret minimarkets. As per a Sharia Financial survey of the effect of Alfamart and Indomaret minimarkets on deals turnover and number of purchasers, conventional slow down organizations are not as per sharia business contest in light of the fact that the Alfamart minimarkets on Suka Maju are extremely close.

Abstract

Background: Clinical practice learning is designed to prepare nursing students to become professional nurses, students are required to meet competency achievement targets. To comprehensively achieve these targets, students must employ effective learning strategies, one of which is Self-Directed Learning Readiness. Objectives: To explore the strategies nursing students use to meet basic nursing competencies through Self-Directed Learning Readiness. Methods: This research used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model with total sampling, about 91 respondents of second-semester students from the Diploma 3 Nursing Program who conducted clinical practice. The intervention was carried out during the basic nursing clinical practice, with the approach of the stages in SDLR (plan-implementation-monitoring-evaluation). Respondents were given daily journaling which was filled in every day regarding the plan, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of 58 basic nursing competency achievements. After the basic nursing clinical practice ended, respondents completed the post-test questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using an independent sample t-test. Results: The results showed that the majority of students achieved excellent scores (91%) in meeting basic nursing clinical practice competencies. The competency assessment covers three main aspects: knowledge, attitude, and psychomotor skills, with average scores of 82, 84.3, and 83, respectively. The results of statistical tests using the Independent T-Test showed that there was a positive effect of SDLR on the Competency Achievements of Basic Nursing Clinical Students with a p-value <0.05. Conclusion: Students with higher levels of SDLR tend to be more independent in managing time, utilizing various learning resources, and practicing clinical skills. The basic competencies achieved include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, reflecting their readiness to provide comprehensive nursing care.

Abstract

Abstract

Toddlers are a group vulnerable to health problems, especially malnutrition, considering the rapid growth and development phase at this time. Malnutrition in toddlers can have a severe impact on the child's brain development and intelligence and can even result in death. An observational study in Dono Mulyo Village, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung, in May 2024 found three cases of underweight toddlers out of 95 toddlers observed. Handling this problem, including providing additional food, is essential. Community practice activities aim to overcome the problem of underweight toddlers by giving extra food, educating mothers about the importance of balanced nutrition for toddlers, and increasing mothers' knowledge about balanced nutrition for toddlers. The method used is counselling to mothers of toddlers. Activities are carried out in several stages: preparation, implementation of activities, evaluation, and preparation of reports. Knowledge assessment is carried out by giving a pretest before counselling and a posttest after counselling. Apart from that, toddler feeding patterns are measured as a result of changes in attitudes, which is done with the Child Feeding Questionnaire (CFQ). The results of community practice activities show that outreach activities can increase mothers' knowledge about the importance of balanced nutrition for toddlers and demonstrate accuracy in toddler feeding patterns.
