Abstract

Bullying is an example of deviant and dangerous behavior. We are often faced with a culture of bullying where goals are taken by someone or a group of people who are powerful and irresponsible and are carried out repeatedly. Teachers as facilitators have the function of providing academic services in the form of facilities that are really needed in education and teaching and learning activities. Teachers not only act as teachers, but also as companions and mentors who actively encourage students to create an inclusive environment. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of class teachers as facilitators in building an anti-bullying culture at SDN Saronggi 1. The results of this research with the existence of an awareness campaign program at SDN Saronggi 1 are very helpful in preventing bullying at school.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS), sering menghadapi tantangan dalam menyampaikan konsep-konsep yang kompleks secara efektif. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa adalah penggunaan media mind mapping berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), yang menghubungkan materi pembelajaran dengan konteks kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan media mind mapping berbasis CTL terhadap hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi, yang melibatkan dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan media mind mapping berbasis CTL dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan media mind mapping berbasis CTL menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media mind mapping berbasis CTL efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Implikasi penelitian ini menyarankan penerapan media mind mapping berbasis CTL dalam kurikulum pembelajaran dasar untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar dan relevansi pendidikan dengan konteks kehidupan siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the results of the Science Problem Solving Test, describing students' Field Dependent and Field Independent cognitive styles in solving science problems. The research method used is Mixed Methods, which uses Sequential Explanatory Design. The research results showed that the field-independent and field-dependent students' science problem-solving tests were good. This is proven by using a one-sample t-test with a Sig (2-tailed) result of 0.005. which is smaller than 0.05. The cognitive style of field-dependent students in solving science problems, according to the Polya Stage theory, have difficulty absorbing information, so they do not understand the problem and are unable to explain using their sentences, think globally. The cognitive style of field-independent students in solving science problems is effortless to absorb information so that they can understand the situation thoroughly, analytically, and systematically so that they can present the correct solution steps by determining arithmetic operations that are relevant to the problem.
