Abstract

The development of the potential of students can be done through character education. A good school culture instills character values ​​in students. The aim is to find out the implementation of discipline character education, love for the homeland, and care for the environment through school culture which includes routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary, and conditioning at SDN Baban 1 Sumenep. Character education through school culture is education to shape personality through the atmosphere of school life where students interact which teaches ethical values ​​to shape personality which is manifested in one's real actions, namely good behavior, honesty, responsibility, respecting the rights of others, working hard, and so on. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative form. The data needed in this research is data about the implementation of discipline character education, love for the homeland, and caring for the environment through school culture in the form of routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary, and conditioning at SDN Baban 1 Sumenep. The results obtained are the implementation of disciplined character education, love for the homeland, and care for the environment through school culture which includes routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary, and good conditioning at SDN Baban 1 Sumenep. Keywords: Character Education, Environmental Care, School Culture. Abstrak: Pengembangan potensi peserta didik dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan karakter. Budaya sekolah yang baik menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada peserta didik. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter disiplin, cinta tanah air, dan peduli lingkungan melalui budaya sekolah yang meliputi kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian di SDN Baban 1 Sumenep. Pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah adalah pendidikan untuk membentuk kepribadian melalui suasana kehidupan sekolah tempat peserta didik berinteraksi yang mengajarkan nilai-nilai etika untuk membentuk kepribadian yang terwujud dalam tindakan nyata seseorang yaitu tingkah laku yang baik, jujur, bertanggung jawab, menghormati hak orang lain, kerja keras, dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan bentuk kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah data tentang pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter disiplin, cinta tanah air, dan peduli lingkungan melalui budaya sekolah yaitu berupa kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian di SDN Baban 1 Sumenep. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter disiplin, cinta tanah air, dan peduli lingkungan melalui budaya sekolah yang meliputi kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian di SDN Baban 1 Sumenep baik

Abstract

Aktivitas manusia dalam kehidupan sehari hari selalu bersangkutan dengan ilmu matematika lebih tepatnya pada kemampuan berhitung. Dalam hal ini kemampuan berhitung dibutuhkan manusia sejak sekolah dasar, akan tetapi saat ini banyak siswa disekolah dasar kurang berminat untuk belajar matematika dikarenakan matematika itu sulit untuk dipelajari. Keterampilan melakukan operasi perkalian pada siswa kelas III masih rendah. Hal itu disebabkan media pembelajaran yang dilakukan kurang tepat. Salah satu pembaharuan dalam media pembelajaran yang ditawarkan penulis yaitu dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran game eleven pieces multiplication. Tujuan penelitian ini: 1) Untuk mengetahui cara kerja dari game eleven pieces multiplication, 2) Untuk mengetahui implementasi media pembelajaran game eleven pieces multiplication pada mata pelajaran matematika untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif. Hasil dan pembahasan yang dilakukan, meliputi: 1) Merancang desain sekaligus pembuatan game eleven pieces mulitiplication, dalam pembuatan media ini sangatlah mudah dengan menggunakan alat-alat sederharna seperti stik dari kayu. Selain itu media ini mudah dibawa kemana saja dan sangat sesuai untuk dimiliki guru dan peserta didik, 2) Merumuskan cara penggunaan game eleven pieces multiplication, oleh peserta didik tingkat sekolah dasar. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Game eleven pieces multiplication merupakan sebuah media yang dapat membantu dan mempermudah siswa sekolah dasar pada mata pelajaran matematika perkalian. 2) Dengan adanya game eleven pieces multiplication ini menambah minat dan rasa percaya diri siswa terhadap mata pelajaran matematika sangat tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning yang layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk melakukan penguatan karakter pada KI 2. Perangkat pembelajaran tersebut diujikan terhadap siswa kelas IV di SDK Sang Timur tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, dengan model 4-D. Rancangan ujicoba perangkat menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas IV. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 13 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) validitas perangkat pembelajaran berkategori baik dengan rata-rata nilai 3.7; tingkat keterbacaan lembar kegiatan siswa berkategori baik dan memperoleh rata-rata nilai 3.6; (2) keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik; aktivitas siswa menunjukkan pada penguatan karakter KI 2 dengan perolehan 86.56% pada pertemuan 1 dan 90.62 % pada pertemuan 2; (3) siswa memberikan nilai postif terhadap penguatan karakter utama dengan rata-rata nilai 89.25% melalui jurnal sikap . Berdasarkan hasil dan diskusi penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning dalam melakukan penguatan karakter terhadap pembelajaran PPKn layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the prosocial behavior of elementary school high-grade students based on gender differences in society 5.0. Challenges in fostering students' prosocial behavior as barriers for teachers to pay attention to students, difficulties among teachers and parents in instilling prosocial behavior, students act against social behavior at school because they imitate the behavior of adults outside of school. The study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The data measurement tool is a questionnaire in the form of a scale developed based on indicators of prosocial behavior. The research population was all high-class students at SDN Sentol Laok, Sumenep Regency, totaling 84 students. Based on the examination results, the prosocial behavior in students is helping, being generous, sharing, acting honestly, and working together. Students show this according to student practice both inside and outside the classroom. Efforts made by teachers in instilling prosocial behavior in students are generating, showing, enforcing rules and social activities. Inspiring is the main effort in instilling and fostering students' prosocial behavior. While students' prosocial behavior is included in the moderate category with an average value of 1.89, students can display and demonstrate their prosocial behavior. The results showed that male adolescents had higher prosocial behavior than female adolescents due to differences in physical and psychological factors such as effective differences, cognitive differences, parenting factors, and age.

Abstract

Globalization has a positive impact on people's lives, but it also raises some issues, including declining the nation's democratic character. Learning about ethnic and cultural diversity in social studies is shown to be helpful in the development of moral character in children. Based on the above description, this study aims to determine the extent to which students can apply democratic character in their daily lives as a result of the implementation of democratic character education. Interviews, questionnaires, and observation were used to collect data in this study. Descriptive qualitative research using a percentage formula was used. Class V SDN Poja II Sumenep, which included 47 students from various ethnic backgrounds, was used for the study. 3.8 percent more students than last year filled out democratic questionnaires, according to the data. This study concludes that the implementation of democratic character education through social studies learning material on ethnic and cultural diversity in elementary schools is categorized as very good according to the character learning syntax. Students' level of understanding in implementing democratic character in everyday life is categorized as very good. This is because students have carried out all activities by predetermined indicators.

Abstract

Penerapan nilai-nilai ketuhanan merupakan kesadaran dan dirancang untuk mempersiapkan siswa dalam hal pengetahuan dan pemahaman, kehidupan dan pengamalan, dan untuk membantu mereka percaya pada agama yang menjadi bagian dari mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan fenomenologi kualitatif  melalui studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data  penelitian ini dilakukan melalui (1) wawancara semi terstruktur, (2) observasi tidak terstruktur, dan (3) dokumentasi, dan hasilnya disusun secara sistematis. Langkah-langkah dalam analisis data adalah menggunakan paradigma  analisis isi dengan  reduksi data, penyajian data, dan validasi data (menarik kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) bentuk nilai-nilai ketuhanan di SDN Baban 1 Sumenep meliputi: (a) aqidah/nilai ibadah adalah shalat berjamaah, Membaca doa, membaca Alquran surat pendek, (b ) nilai moral yang terdiri dari nilai sopan santun, 3S (senyum, sapa, sapa), nilai-nilai Siratulahim (c) nilai disiplin dan nilai sosial masyarakat Nilai-nilai syariah terdiri dari (2) penerapan nilai-nilai ketuhanan melalui pembiasaan di sekolah dasar Baban 1 Sumenep meliputi (a) kegiatan sehari-hari, (b) kegiatan sukarela, (c) pengkondisian, (d) Meliputi keteladanan.

Abstract

The problem that teachers often face in primary school is the students’ low absorption in understanding a lesson. Currently, learning is still teacher-centered, which causes students to be less active in participating in the teaching and learning process. The problem in this research is how to enhance students' learning motivation through changing seats in primary school. This study is a quantitative study with a research design using a post-test-only control design. The data were collected using test and observation method and were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and further hypothesis testing, which is to compare the learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. This study concludes that there was an increase in students' learning motivation through changing seats in primary schools, which can be seen from the results of data analysis showing that the value of tcount = greater than ttable = 2.2899 at a significant level of 5% (tcount ttable ) count 3.0030 table 2.2899, H0 was accepted.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya guru harus memiliki strategi agar anak didik dapat belajar efektif dan efisien, mengena pada tujuan yang diharapkan. Salah satunya dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Group Investigation yaitu model pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa sejak tahap perencanaan baik dalam 1) Memilih topik, 2) Perencanaan kooperatif, 3) Investigasi kelompok, 4) Menyiapkan laporan akhir,5) Presentasi hasil final, dan 6) Evaluasi. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini sebagai berikut: 1) Bagaimana aktifitas belajar siswa dalam menulis karangan naratif dengan menggunakan Group Ivestigation pada Kelas X MA. Mauidzul Amin Al-Islamy. 2) Bagaimanakah respon siswa pasca pembelajaran menulis karangan naratif dengan menggunakan metode Group Investigation pada kelas X MA. Mauidzul Amin Al-Islamy. 3) Bagaimanakah hasil peningkatan belajar siswa dalam membuat karangan naratif dengan menggunakan metode Group Investigation pada kelas X. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, jumlah rata-rata presentase aktivitas siswa termasuk dalam katagori baik berjumlah 3,24 maka dapat dikategorikan aktif. Analisis data melalui angket tentang respon siswa rata-rata presentase siswa yang menyatakan ya sebesar 65,38%, sedangkan rata-rata persentase yang menyatakan tidak sebesar 20,42%. Dan yang rata-rata persentase yang menyatakan kadang-kadang sebesar 21,04%. Hasil persentase ketercapaian secara klasikal sebesar 74,80% lebih besar dari pada jumlah tidak tuntas sebesar 10,52%, maka penerapan metode Group Investigation sebagai upaya peningkatan keterampilan menulis karangan naratif siswa kelas X MA. Mauidzul Amin Al-Islamy dapat dikatakan tuntas. Hasil belajar siswa sebelum diberi metode group Investigation sebesar 6,14% setelah diberi metode peningkatan hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 3,38% dan peningkatan belajar siswa pada siklus II sebesar 68,28%

Abstract

The philosophy and values ​​of the Muwang Sumenep Dance were studied in this study for the sixth-grade students of SDN Pandian V Sumenep. In this study, Grade VI students of SDN Pandian V Sumenep will learn about the Dance Philosophy of Muwang Sangkal Sumenep. It uses a descriptive method that focuses on describing what is described. Observational structured interviews and documentation approaches were taken to collect data for this study. According to the findings, dance classes are held twice a week at SDN Pandian V Sumenep. For students of SDN Pandian V Sumenep, dance classes are held to hone and develop their talents. In addition, they can see how the philosophy is presented and how important it is overall. To perform the Muwang Sangkal dance, children only need to learn the sequence of movements. Meanwhile, children can learn in detail and clearly about the philosophical values ​​of Muwang Sangkal dance, such as the requirements for a Muwang Sangkal dancer to be pure and not menstruating and to be humble and not arrogant. For elementary school students, Muwang Sangkal dance theory is the same as Muwang Sangkal dance theory in general. Makeup and fashion are just two of the many differences between men and women. The Sumenep Muwang Sangkal dance has been recognized as a symbol of the Sumenep Regency by the Sumenep community and has become a source of pride for the Sumenep people.

Abstract

The implementation of character education in the current school environment is considered lacking. With these problems, researchers tried to solve the problem by inserting character values into the learning process. Teachers must choose and match character values through the materials to be taught, then apply them to learning. Snowball throwing is a suitable method for implementing responsibility and environmental care character education. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative using the percentage formula. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires, and observation. The primary data sources in this study were principals and teachers and were strengthened by student opinions as secondary data sources. The results showed an increase of 3.8% in students' understanding of the character of responsibility and care for the environment after using the snowball throwing method, with 82% in the excellent category.
