Abstract

Introduction: Prenatal yoga is a form of exercise that pregnant women can do to improve physical and mental fitness. Several studies have shown that prenatal yoga can reduce anxiety and back pain in pregnancy. This study aims to examine the potential of prenatal yoga in reducing anxiety and back pain in pregnancy through a systematic literature review. Methods: This research was conducted using a systematic literature review method. The articles analyzed were articles published in international scientific journals and in English with the following inclusion criteria: Research conducted on pregnant women in the second or third trimester, Research using prenatal yoga as an intervention, Research using outcome measures for anxiety and/or pain back. Results: Of the 123 articles found, 10 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed. The results showed that prenatal yoga could significantly reduce anxiety (mean difference = -4.20; 95% CI = -6.31, -2.09) and back pain (mean difference = -2.97; 95% CI = -3.96, -2.08) in pregnant women. Conclusion: Prenatal yoga is an effective intervention to reduce anxiety and back pain in pregnancy.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : EFEKTIVITAS PIJAT BAYI PADA USIA 3-12 BULAN DENGAN AROMATERAPI MINYAK TELON LAVENDER TERHADAP KUALITAS TIDUR BAYI Latar Belakang: Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 52% bayi mengalami masalah tidur, yakni bayi tidur kurang dari 9 jam, serta bayi terbangun tiga kali sehari selama lebih dari satu jam di malam hari. Pijat bayi merupakan salah satu upaya non-farmakologi dalam mengatasi permasalahan tidur bayi.  Stimulus yang tepat untuk membuat bayi tidur nyenyak adalah pemijatan dan aromaterapi. Aromaterapi menyebarkan molekul-molekul wangi dan mengaktifkan sistem saraf pusat, yang membantu bayi tidur.Tujuan: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pijat bayi pada usia 3-12 bulan dengan aromaterapi minyak telon lavender terhadap kualitas tidur bayi.Metode: Metode penelitian ini menggunakan  quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test one group. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah bayi berusia 3-12 bulan yang mengalami gangguan tidur, besar sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebesar 32 bayi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan observasi dan kuesioner yang telah teruji validitas dan reabilitasnya.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pijatan pada bayi usia 3-12 bulan dengan aroma terapi minyak telon lavender efektif terhadap peningkatan kualitas tidur bayi dengan p value 0,000.Kesimpulan: Pijat bayi usia 3-12 bulan dengan aromaterapi minyak telon lavender efektif meningkatkan kualitas tidur bayi.Saran : Pijat bayi dengan aromaterapi minyak telon lavender disarankan sebagai alternatif untuk mengurangi gangguan tidur pada bayi usia 3-12 bulan Kata Kunci : Pijat bayi; aromaterapi; minyak lavender; kualitas tidur ABSTRACT Background: The research results stated that 52% of babies experienced sleep problems, namely babies slept less than 9 hours, and babies woke up three times a day for more than an hour at night. Baby massage is a non-pharmacological effort to overcome baby sleep problems.  The right stimulus to make a baby sleep soundly is massage and aromatherapy. Aromatherapy disperses fragrant molecules and activates the central nervous system, which helps babies sleepPurpose: The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of baby massage aged 3-12 months with lavender telon oil aromatherapy on the quality of baby sleep.Methods: This research method uses quasi-experiment with a one group pre-test post-test research design. The sample in this study was babies aged 3-12 months who experienced sleep disorders. The sample size used in the study was 32 babies. Data collection is carried out by conducting observations and questionnaires whose validity and reliability have been tested. Data analysis in this study used dependent t-test analysis (paired t-test).Results: The results of the study stated that massage for babies aged 3-12 months with lavender telon oil aroma therapy was effective in improving the quality of baby's sleep with a p value of 0.000.Conclusion: The  massage for babies aged 3-12 months with lavender telon oil aromatherapy is effective in improving the quality of baby sleep.Suggestions : Baby massage with telon lavender oil aromatherapy is recommended as an alternative to reduce sleep disorders in babies aged 3-12 months Keywords : Baby Massage, Aromatherapy: Lavendder Oil, Sleep Quality

Abstract

Abstract   Background: Excessive gadget use in school-age children can negatively impact their cognitive, social and emotional development. In this case, parental involvement is needed as the key in controlling gadget use in children through the application of appropriate parenting. Parents should be able to actively participate and guide their children's interaction with technology. Purpose: To determine the strength of the relationship between parenting patterns and gadget control in school-age children through the mediation of parental involvement in the process. Method: Descriptive correlative research with variables of parental digital parenting and parental mediation in carrying out strategies to control the use of gadgets in children so as not to be excessive. This research was conducted in May 2025 to parents of first and second grade at SDIT Sehati Bina Insani Karawang. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling with 60 parents as respondents. The inclusion criteria in this study are parents who have students aged 7-10 years who attend SDIT Sehati Bina Insani. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire or questionnaire method. Results: The study shows that parents with good digital parenting patterns will tend to be able to carry out good parental mediation attitudes and behaviors in regulating the use of gadgets in children as much as (78.9%). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between parenting patterns in controlling gadget use in school-age children at SDIT Sehati Bina Insani Karawang. Parents with positive parenting are more able to apply effective mediation strategies in managing time and gadget use in their children.

Abstract

Based on 2018 basic health research data, it was found that there was an increase in the prevalence of anemia at the age of 15-24 years, namely 32% or 14.7 million people, which means 3 out of 10 children experience anemia. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using video media in nutritional health education on adolescent girls' knowledge about anemia at SMAN 1 Pebayuran. This research uses an experimental method using quasi-experimental techniques, a one group pre and posttest design approach. The population of this study were all female teenagers from SMAN 1 Pebayuran class X aged 15-17 years. The sampling technique was proportional random sampling, the number of samples was 30 students. Research data was collected using a questionnaire. The research results obtained were that before being given counseling using videos, the majority of young women's knowledge level had a mean value of 54.14 and after providing counseling using videos, the majority of young women's knowledge levels increased with a mean value of 93.31. The results of the T-test obtained a p value of 0.000 < α 0.05, which means that there is an influence of the use of video media in nutritional health education on the knowledge of young women. The conclusion of this study was that it was proven to significantly increase adolescent girls' knowledge about anemia after being given counseling using videos. Therefore, health workers are expected to see the opportunity to use educational videos as an appropriate alternative media in providing health and nutrition education as an effort to increase teenagers' knowledge about anemia

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemberian ASI Eksklusif merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan stunting di Indonesia. Namun, masih ada daerah-daerah dimana menyusui eksklusif belum optimal. Mengacu data dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Karawang pada kuartal kedua tahun 2023, cakupan menyusui eksklusif hanya mencapai 40,4%. Kegiatan PKM di Desa Cengkong Karawang ini bertujuan untuk mendidik ibu hamil pada trimester ketiga mengenai pentingnya pemberian ASI eksklusif dalam mencegah stunting pada balita. Metode kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, diberikan dengan ceramah dan tes pra dan pasca edukasi kepada 23 ibu hamil pada trimester III. Analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan Microsoft Office. Pengetahuan ibu hamil meningkat selama trimester III, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh respons yang antusias dalam hasil pre test (43,4 persen (10 orang) memiliki pengetahuan yang baik dan pengetahuan meningkat, terlihat ibu hamil pada trimester III, 65,2% (15 orang) menunjukkan pengetahuan yang baik berdasarkan hasil tes pasca edukasi. Memberikan pendidikan kesehatan kepada wanita hamil tentang manfaat menyusui eksklusif meningkatkan pemahaman ibu hamil trimester III tentang pentingnya menyusui eksklusif. Pendidikan Kesehatan ini diharapkan mampu memberikan dampak positif untuk mendorong perubahan perilaku positif ibu hamil sebagai langkah penting dalam upaya pencegahan stunting. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Ibu Hamil, Asi Eksklusif, Stunting  ABSTRACT Exclusive breastfeeding is one of the efforts to overcome the problem of stunting in Indonesia. However, there are still areas where exclusive breastfeeding is not optimal. Referring to data from the Karawang District Health Service in the second quarter of 2023, exclusive breastfeeding coverage only reached 40.4%. This PKM activity in Cengkong Karawang Village aims to educate pregnant women in the third trimester about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding in preventing stunting in toddlers. This community service activity method was given through lectures and pre- and post-education tests to 23 pregnant women in the third trimester. Data analysis was carried out with the help of Microsoft Office. Pregnant women's knowledge increased during the third trimester, as shown by the enthusiastic response in the pre-test results (43.4 percent (10 people) had good knowledge and knowledge increased. It can be seen that in the third trimester, 65.2% (15 people) of pregnant women showed good knowledge based on the results of the post-education test. Providing health education to pregnant women about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding increases understanding of pregnant women in the third trimester about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding. Abstract

ABSTRAK Persalinan adalah momen penting bagi ibu hamil yang seringkali disertai kecemasan dan kurangnya kesiapan fisik. Keterbatasan akses terhadap informasi dan praktik persiapan persalinan yang tepat menjadi tantangan di banyak komunitas. Program senam hamil merupakan intervensi non-farmakologis yang terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kebugaran dan kepercayaan diri ibu hamil. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan fisik dan mental ibu hamil dalam menghadapi persalinan melalui implementasi program senam hamil terstruktur di Aula Desa Cengkong, Kecamatan Purwasari. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 6 Mei 2025 di Aula Desa Cengkong, Kecamatan Purwasari, dengan melibatkan 20 ibu hamil trimester ketiga (umur kehamilan 7-9 bulan) sebagai peserta. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sesi senam hamil rutin, edukasi pernapasan persalinan, dan diskusi interaktif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipasi serta kuesioner pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan tentang manfaat senam hamil dan teknik pernapasan ibu hamil, serta umpan balik lisan. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang manfaat senam hamil dari rata-rata 65% pada pre-test menjadi 87% pada post-test, dan pengetahuan tentang teknik pernapasan dari rata-rata 70% pada pre-test menjadi 91% pada post-test. Program senam hamil efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan fisik dan mental ibu hamil untuk persalinan. Diharapkan program serupa dapat direplikasi dan diintegrasikan ke dalam program kesehatan ibu dan anak di tingkat komunitas. Meningkatkan pengetahuan kader pentingnya senam hamil untuk proses persalinan melalui penyuluhan dan praktik senam ibu hamil. Kata Kunci: Senam Hamil, Persiapan Persalinan, Ibu Hamil, Kebugaran Fisik.  ABSTRACT Labor is an important moment for pregnant women who are often accompanied by anxiety and lack of physical readiness. Limitations of access to information and practices of appropriate labor preparation are challenges in many communities. The pregnancy exercise program is a non-pharmacological intervention that has proven effective in increasing the fitness and confidence of pregnant women. This community service aims to increase the physical and mental readiness of pregnant women in the face of childbirth through the implementation of the Structured Pregnant Gymnastics Program in the Cengkong Village Hall, Purwasari District. The activity was carried out on May 6, 2025 in the Cengkong Village Hall, Purwasari District, involving 20 third trimester pregnant women (7-9 months of pregnancy) as a participant. The implementation method includes regular pregnancy exercise sessions, delivery education, and interactive discussion. Data is collected through observation of participation and pre-test and post-test questionnaires to measure the level of knowledge about the benefits of pregnancy exercise and breathing techniques for pregnant women, as well as oral feedback. The results show a significant increase in the knowledge of pregnant women about the benefits of pregnancy exercise from an average of 65% in pre-test to 87% in post-test, and knowledge of respiratory techniques from an average of 70% in pre-test to 91% in post-test. Pregnant exercise programs are effective in increasing the physical and mental readiness of pregnant women for labor. It is hoped that similar programs can be replicated and integrated into maternal and child health programs at the community level. increase the knowledge of cadres regarding the importance of pregnancy exercises for the birthing process through counseling and practice of pregnancy exercises. Keywords: Pregnant Exercise, Childbirth Preparation, Pregnant Women, Physical Fitness

Abstract

Background: Parenting is a dynamic process influenced by technology. Technological advances in digital media have presented new challenges and changed the landscape of parenting. Excessive use of gadgets by elementary school children can have a negative impact on their academic, social, and emotional development. One control strategy that can be applied is through a parental control application. Purpose: To provide knowledge of the application of parental control applications to parents to control children in using gadgets. Method: This community service activity was carried out in the fourth week of June 2025 at SDIT Sehati Bina Insani Karawang targeting 58 parents of grades 1 and 2. This activity is a participatory action demonstration involving teachers, parents, and students. The presentation of the material was carried out on Monday, June 23, 2025 by showing videos and delivering the material in detail. Furthermore, parents demonstrated direct practice in applying Google family link on the gadgets used by their children. The practice focused on how parents use the parental control application, especially Google family link, which can be downloaded for free on the Google Store. Implementation of the Google family link application to limit the duration of children's gadget play, where the recommended safe limit is 2 hours for children aged 6-12 years. Results: Shows that counseling accompanied by direct demonstrations can improve parents' understanding of the functions and benefits of the application, and encourage them to be more active in controlling children's gadget use at home. Screen time settings and access filter restrictions on applications that children should not use on smartphones and the use of parental permission before they download game applications or other social media. After the demonstration activity showed a significant increase in knowledge related to the use of parental control applications to prevent gadget addiction in children. Conclusion: This socialization and training demonstration activity can improve parents' digital parenting knowledge in anticipating the negative impacts of gadget use on child development. Most parents and teachers felt very helped by this community service activity and enthusiastically stated that they were aware of providing assistance in spending quality playtime and learning compared to letting children play with gadgets. Suggestion: There is a need for further activities related to increasing parental knowledge and skills in supervising children when playing gadgets to avoid the dangers of excessive gadget use in children and prevent gadget addiction in children. Simulations for school-age children will help provide learning for children to be wiser in using gadgets, have intelligent and noble mindsets with the implementation of parental supervision that is free from the negative influence of gadgets. Keywords: Addiction; Digital parenting; Gadget; Parental control application; Students Pendahuluan: Pengasuhan anak adalah proses dinamis yang dipengaruhi oleh teknologi. Kemajuan teknologi dalam hal media digital telah menghadirkan berbagai tantangan baru dan mengubah lanskap pengasuhan anak. Penggunaan gadget secara berlebihan pada anak usia sekolah dasar dapat berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan akademik, sosial, dan emosional mereka. Salah satu strategi pengendalian yang dapat diterapkan adalah melalui aplikasi parental control. Tujuan: Memberikan pengetahuan penerapan aplikasi parental control kepada orang tua untuk mengendalikan anak dalam menggunakan gadget. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada minggu keempat bulan Juni 2025 di SDIT Sehati Bina Insani Karawang dengan sasaran sebanyak 58 orangtua siswa kelas 1 dan 2. Kegiatan ini merupakan penyuluhan berbasis partisipasi (Participatory Action Demonstration) yang melibatkan guru, orang tua, dan siswa. Pemaparan materi dilakukan pada hari Senin tanggal 23 Juni 2025 dengan pemutaran video dan penyampaian materi secara detail. Selanjutnya orang tua melakukan demonstrasi praktik langsung mengaplikasikan google family link pada gadget yang digunakan oleh anak mereka. Praktik difokuskan pada bagaimana orangtua menggunakan aplikasi parental control khususnya google family link yang dapat didownload secara gratis di google store. Penerapan aplikasi google family link untuk membatasi durasi bermain gadget anak dimana batas aman yang direkomendasikan adalah 2 jam pada anak usia 6-12 tahun. Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan disertai demonstrasi secara langsung mampu meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua mengenai fungsi dan manfaat aplikasi, serta mendorong mereka untuk lebih aktif mengontrol penggunaan gadget anak di rumah. Penerapan aplikasi google family link untuk membatasi durasi bermain gadget anak dimana batas aman. Pengaturan screen time dan pembatasan filter akses pada aplikasi yang tidak boleh digunakan anak pada smartphone dan penggunaan izin orangtua sebelum mereka mendownload aplikasi game atau media social lainnya. Setelah kegiatan demonstrasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan terkait penggunaan aplikasi parental control untuk mencegah kecanduan gadget pada anak. Simpulan: Kegiatan sosialisasi dan demonstrasi pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan digital parenting pada orang tua dalam mengantisipasi dampak negative penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan anak. Sebagian besar orangtua dan guru sangat merasa terbantu dengan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dan secara  antusias menyatakan bahwa mendapatkan kesadaran untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam menghabiskan waktu bermain dan belajar yang berkualitas dibandingkan dengan membiarkan anak bermain gadget.  Saran: Perlunya kegiatan lanjutan terkait peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan orang tua dalam melakukan pendampingan anak ketika bermain gadget untuk menghindari bahaya penggunaan gadget berlebihan pada anak dan mencegah terjadinya kecanduan gadget pada anak. Simulasi pada anak usia sekolah akan membantu memberikan pembelajaran pada pribadi anak agar lebih bijak dalam menggunakan gadget, berpola pikir cerdas dan berbudi mulia dengan penerapan pengawasan pengasuhan orangtua yang terbebas dari pengaruh negatif dari gadget.
