Abstract

One disease that affects school-aged children is Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI). Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) can be caused by various causative agents, such as viruses, bacteria, or even fungi; air pollution from smoke or gas can also cause Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI). The method used in preparing this article is a literature review. Article or journal searches were conducted on five databases: Mendeley, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and Garuda. The keywords used in Mendeley, Google Scholar, and Garuda were "Faktor Risiko ISPA” AND “Anak", while PubMed and ScienceDirect used "risk factor" AND "acute respiratory infection" AND "child". Several risk factors exist for Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) in children in urban areas. Environmental factors such as roofing, ventilation, and occupancy density are the risk factors for Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) in urban school-aged children. Then, there are individual factors where age, gender, and other congenital diseases also affect the occurrence of ARI in children.

Abstract

Indonesia's dual burden of tuberculosis and COVID-19 has highlighted the critical role of global health partnerships in strengthening infectious disease control. This study examines how collaborations with organizations such as WHO, the Global Fund, and USAID have supported Indonesia's response, particularly in TB detection, case management, and pandemic adaptation. A qualitative literature review was conducted, analyzing ten peer-reviewed studies published between 2020 and 2025. The findings reveal that while global partnerships facilitated knowledge transfer, financial assistance, and digital innovation, challenges persist in coordination, private sector integration, and policy alignment. The study concludes that sustained commitment, institutional capacity, and harmonized governance are essential to maximize the impact of international cooperation on national disease control strategies.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of job satisfaction and motivation on employee performance in the hospitality industry, with a focus on hotels in Rafflesia. Employees play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services and ensuring operational success. Using a survey-based quantitative approach, data were collected from hotel employees through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that job satisfaction and motivation significantly impact employee performance. Intrinsic factors such as achievement, recognition, and responsibility, as proposed by Herzberg’s theory, as well as the fulfillment of needs according to Maslow’s hierarchy, contribute substantially to performance enhancement. These findings highlight the need for hotel management to develop strategies that enhance job satisfaction and motivation to optimize performance. Practical recommendations include continuous training programs, clear career development paths, and an effective reward system. By improving these factors, hotels can ensure higher employee commitment, better service quality, and improved overall organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of managerial support and organizational justice on employee performance at PT Pratama Abadi Industri-JX, a shoe manufacturing company. In today's competitive business environment, management support and organizational justice perceptions have become crucial factors in enhancing employee productivity. This research employed a quantitative approach using survey methods with 24 respondents randomly selected from 130 company employees. The research instrument consisted of questionnaires developed based on managerial support indicators (Sorongan et al., 2015), organizational justice indicators (Lestiyanie & Yanuar, 2019), and employee performance indicators (Adhari, 2020). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression with SPSS software. Validity and reliability tests showed that all research instruments were valid and reliable (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.833). The Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test confirmed normal data distribution (Sig. = 0.057 > 0.05). Multiple regression analysis results indicated that managerial support and organizational justice simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on employee performance (F = 10.143, Sig. = 0.001 < 0.05) with R² value of 0.491, meaning 49.1% of employee performance variation can be explained by both independent variables. These findings provide practical implications for PT Pratama Abadi Industri-JX management to enhance managerial support and create a fair organizational climate as strategies for improving employee performance.
