Abstract

Implementation of this research has been carried out in the copra small industries "Bangun Mandiri" inKupang and aim to expand inter island marketing as one of community welfare. Outputs and outcomes are achieved suchas improving quality and quantity of white copra products through improved designs of multi-functional vertical furnacesystem copper dryers, especially in-house improvements, door frames, outer boxes and fireplaces as well as increasedcapital investment in the form of oven machinery; an increase in sales turnover of 30%; conducting Lab-scale researchfor possibility consuming dry coconut shells that have been patented as an additive of copra-scented foods/drinks andexpansion of marketing area through Pentahelix's partnership to accelerate inter island marketing. Measurable outcomeis to produce oven machine with complete design, also publication on scientific journal. In the future it is expected thatthe SMEs can further focus to quality control by involving academics or local government. To wake up consumerconfidence is also required efforts of local academics to periodically strive for program assistance activities andproduction management to make a teaching factory so that Pentahelix collaboration is established to produce smallindustries areas with highly competitive and prosper to the middle/lower communities and alleviate poverty, especiallykopra.

Abstract

Regional superior products in NTT Province are currently the main pillars of the people's economy. Through the development program of superior products of export-oriented regions in the natural stone handicraft industry in UD Pesona Batu Alam, it is able to increase productivity, turnover and other assets. The support of Kupang State Polytechnic through the improvement of innovation-based mechanization on the types and kinds of production needed by the community through craftsmen in UD. Pesona Batu Alam is very necessary. Measured activities include the development of rock type designs through a variety of forms to attract tastes of domestic and foreign customers. The implementation methods that are carried out include the manufacture and application of cutting tool technology and portable stone grading screw systems to be part of the innovation targeted in this service program. The characteristics of the tool are designed in accordance with the conditions of natural stone and NTT Province's distinctive limestone products. The results of this service program are able to improve the quality of products, including the use of by-products in addition to being able to stimulate sales and marketing between islands and between neighboring countries.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh motivasi terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan pada PT. Mataram Mitra Sentosa Kupang dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan pada PT. Mataram Mitra Sentosa Kupang. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif dengan populasi sebanyak 30 orang dan peneliti mengambil sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh yaitu seluruh karyawan dijadikan sampel. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan study kepustakaan. Menggunakan skala likert dan selanjutnya data diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, dan analisis regresi sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS 18. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan pada PT. Mataram Mitra Sentosa Kupang terbukti dari hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi nilai t hitung > nilai t tabel (4,758 > 1,701). Dengan pengaruh sebesar 44,7 atau 44% sedangkan sisanya 56% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak di teliti seperti faktor individu (Usaha, kemampuan, peran/tugas) dan faktor lingkungan (kondisi fisik, pendidikan, pelatihan dll).

Abstract

This study examines how narcisim influences job performance through creativity as a mediator. A survey of 96 lecturers in Indonesian universities used established measures for narcisim, creativity, and job performance. Statistical analyses assessed validity, reliability, and a mediation model to understand the impact of narcisim on performance through creativity. Findings: Narcissistic traits lowered creativity, which reduced job performance. However, fostering creativity can mitigate some of these negative effects, highlighting its importance for improving lecturer performance. Practical Implications: To manage the impact of narcissism on lecturer performance, organizations should focus on fostering creativity through training programs, innovation-supportive policies, and selection and evaluation processes that emphasize creativity. Additionally, psychological support for lecturers with high levels of narcissism can help mitigate negative effects and enhance overall performance. Originality: The study provides new insights for developing strategies that can enhance lecturer performance through the management of narcissistic traits and the promotion of creativity.

Abstract

Kesesuaian karyawan dengan lingkungan kerja (Person-Environment Fit ) mencakup pekerjaan, tempat kerja, kelompok kerja dan pimpinan langsung yang mana apabila tidak sesuai maka dapat menimbulkan keinginan karyawan untuk meninggalkan tempat kerjanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesesuaian  pekerjaan (Person-Job Fit), kesesuaian organisasi (Person-Organization Fit), kesesuaian  kelompok kerja (Person-Group Fit) dan Kesesuaian dengan atasan langsung (Person-Supervisor Fit) terhadap intensi keluar karyawan (Turnover Intention) di Kota Kupang. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan memperoleh data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden dan dikuantifikasi menggunakan skala Likert. Pengukuran variabel Person-Environment Fit  menggunakan Perceived Person-Environment Fit  Scale (PPEFS) yang dikembangkan oleh Chuang yang terdiri Person-Job Fit Scale (PJFS), Person-Organization Fit Scale (POFS), Person-Group Fit Scale (PGFS) dan Person-Supervisor Fit Scale (PSFS). Sedangkan variabel Turnover Intention diukur dengan lima item yang menggali informasi mengenai keinginan responden untuk  mencari pekerjaan lain yang dikembangkan oleh Wayne. Pengukuran lima variabel ini menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan kelima variabel memiliki nilai Cronbach Alpha di atas 0,7 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua alat ukur dalam penelitian ini memiliki nilai reliabilitas yang dapat diterima. Hasil uji empat hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa hanya satu hipotesis yang diterima yaitu     Person-Group Fit (PGF) berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap Turnover Intention (TI), sedangkan tiga hipotesis lainnya ditolak karena memiliki nilai signifikansi lebih besar dari 0,05.Employee suitability with the work environment (Person-Environment Fit) includes work, workplace, work group, and immediate supervisor, which, if unsuitable, can cause employees to want to leave their workplace. This study aims to analyze the effect of job fit (Person-Job Fit), organizational fit (Person-Organization Fit), work group fit (Person-Group Fit), and fit with immediate supervisors (Person-Supervisor Fit) on employee turnover intention in Kupang City. The research method used a quantitative approach by obtaining data through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents and quantifying them using a Likert scale. The Person-Environment Fit variable was measured using the Perceived Person-Environment Fit Scale (PPEFS) developed by Chuang, which consists of the Person-Job Fit Scale (PJFS), Person-Organization Fit Scale (POFS), Person-Group Fit Scale (PGFS), and Person-Supervisor Fit Scale (PSFS). Meanwhile, the Turnover Intention variable was measured using five items that explored information about respondents' desire to look for other jobs, developed by Wayne. The measurement of these five variables used a Likert scale. The results of testing the four hypotheses show that only one hypothesis is accepted, namely that Person-Group Fit (PGF) has a significant negative effect on Turnover Intention (TI), while the other three hypotheses are rejected because they have a significance value greater than 0.05.
