Abstract

Tujuan dari adanya pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan minuman tradisional kunyit agar lebih modern dari segi proses pembuatan dan packaging agar mudah dikonsumsi dan mampu bersaing di pasar ritel. Produk simplisia kunyit merupakan olahan dari kunyit yang dikeringkan melalui alat dehydrator kemudian berbentuk serbuk dalam kemasan kantong celup. Hal ini tentunya memudahkan dalam penyimpanan karena dapat tahan lama. Gagasan yang melatarbelakangi usaha ini agar simplisia kunyit lebih mudah dikonsumsi dan diharapkan dapat membuka lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat sekitar. Namun usaha simplisia kunyit memiliki permasalahan terkait kurangnya pemasaran dalam produknya, masih belum beragam varian produk dan kurang menariknya pengemasan. Hasil pengabdian memberikan pelatihan packaging produk yang baik dan modern serta membantu memasarkan di pasar ritel. Dengan pengabdian yang dilakukan packaging sudah menarik dan deskripsi produk yang tertera pada kemasan sudah informatif dan jelas.

Abstract

The increasingly fierce competition in the business world has led manufacturers to have marketing strategies that can enhance consumer interest in making purchasing decisions. Fashion is considered to have great potential, especially for Muslim fashion products. This study aims to determine the influence of brand image and Islamic branding on the purchasing decisions of Muslim consumers on Rabbani products, mediated by brand awareness. The sample in this study consisted of female students from Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta who had purchased Rabbani products. The total number of samples used was 206 respondents. The method used to collect samples was purposive sampling. This study used primary data obtained from distributing online questionnaires through Google Forms. The data obtained were analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study showed that brand image and Islamic branding have a positive effect on brand awareness. The study also showed that brand awareness has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. Brand awareness mediates the relationship between brand image and Islamic branding on purchasing decisions. The results of this study can serve as a reference for Rabbani product companies in leveraging brand image and Islamic branding aspects to create good brand awareness for consumers, ultimately enhancing purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Kegiatan Baitul Mal Tamwil (BMT) didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip Syariah, dan fungsinya memiliki manfaat sosial dan ekonomi. Dalam situasi saat ini, banyak Baitul Mal Tamwil (BMT) termasuk BMT Surya Martani, telah didegradasi untuk meningkatkan komersialisasi. Maka tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi apa yang digunakan BMT Surya Martani dalam memasarkan produknya sehingga bisa meningkatkan calon anggota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan motode penelitian kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian dilakukan teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sehingga kemudian didapati keabsahan data penelitian. Hasil yang didapati dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kendala BMT Surya Martani dalam peningkatan calon anggota antara lain; modal yang belum bisa dipenuhi, nasabah yang bermasalah, nasabah yang kurang memahami perbedaan antara pembiyaan syariah dan konvensional, dan persaingan dengan lembaga konvensional lainya. Sedangkan strategi pemasaran yang digunakan adalah stratgi segmentasi pasar dan bauran pemasaran (Marketing Mix) yang lebih mengedepankan pada Produk, Harga, Lokasi, dan promosi. Disamping itu strategi yang dilakukan adalah dengan menjemput bola atau dengan langsung mendatangi nasabah, dan juga lebih mengutamakan pelayanan kenyamanan pelanggan serta berupaya memberikan informasi melalui brosur.

Abstract

Lightning is a high-current discharge that occurs in Cumulonimbus clouds, with CG (Cloud to Ground)lightning strikes posing significant dangers, especially to human life. Pasuruan, located in the highlandsbetween mountains and the ocean in Indonesia, is particularly vulnerable to such strikes. This studyaims to mitigate the impact of lightning strikes, particularly in industrial areas like Pasuruan, by delineating lightning-prone areas using a sophisticated methodological approach. Our research employs arobust Ellipse Fitting Method, parameterized with Principal Component Analysis (PCA), to accuratelydefine the boundaries of these high-risk zones. The Ellipse Fitting Method, which involves formingan ellipse from the intersection of a plane and a cone, uses five key parameters: a center point, twovertex points, and two focus points. PCA is then applied to these parameters to determine the ellipse’sconfiguration, with the center point derived from the mean of all data points. The major and minoraxes are defined by the first and second eigenvalues of the principal components, respectively. The sizeof the ellipse correlates with the confidence level, with higher confidence resulting in a larger ellipse.The result of integrating these advanced techniques is the generation of two PCA models from datacollected across 28 sub-districts in Pasuruan, with findings indicating a high level of vulnerability inLumbang District and a moderate level of risk in Gempol District. This methodological framework notonly enhances the precision in identifying lightning-prone areas but also provides a scalable approachfor similar studies in other regions. Suggestion for the further research are to overcome extreme pointsor extreme points in the PCA confidence ellipse such as MVEE.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is an important aspect of realizing organizational goals. Human resources who are qualified and competent in carrying out their work will make the resulting productivity achieve high performance. One way to increase company productivity is to pay attention to organizational cultures, communication, and interactional justice on employee performance. This research aims to examine the influence of organizational culture and communication patterns on employee performance with interactional justice as a mediating variable. The study in this research is BMT BIF DIY. This research is quantitative research. The sample used in the research was all BMT BIF DIY employees, totaling 78 respondents obtained using the non-probability sampling method. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using SmartPLS software version 3.2.9. The results of this research show that there is a positive influence between organizational culture on interactional justice, communication patterns have no effect on interactional justice, interactional justice has a positive effect on employee performance, interactional justice can mediate the influence of organizational culture on employee performance, and interactional justice is unable to mediate communication patterns on employee performance. Based on the results of this research, the management of BMT BIF DIY must be able to develop an attitude of mutual respect between each other so that they will feel comfortable at work, thereby increasing a good culture of justice

Abstract

Mosque as a non-profit organization, plays a pivotal role in its function as a place of worship. Additionally, it serves a significant role in supporting social activities, tourism, education, and other activities in accordance with Islamic law. To address the demands of transparency and accountability, it is imperative that mosques prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards. However, the implementation of these practices is often hindered by limited resources. This study aims to analyze the role of internal audit in preventing fraudulent financial reporting of mosques in accordance with relevant accounting standards, with a focus on the grand mosques of sharia tourism destinations in Soloraya, namely Al-Falah Sragen Grand Mosque, Madaniyah Grand Mosque Karanganyar, and Al-Aqsha Mosque Klaten. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with primary and secondary data as sources through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicated that while the mosques have prepared financial statements in accordance with sharia accounting principles, such as accountability, fairness, and truth, their accounting practices are not yet fully aligned with the accounting standards of non-profit entities. Internal audits, though still rudimentary in some mosques, contribute to fraud prevention by providing basic oversight mechanisms. The involvement of professional organizations like LAZISMU at Masjid Raya Al-Falah Sragen exemplifies effective financial management. However, other mosques rely on simpler approval mechanisms by mosque management or local government supervision.

Abstract

This research uses Herzberg's two-factor theory, namely motivator factors which include the work itself and promotion and hygiene factors which include relationships between co-workers, salary and supervision to measure job satisfaction of BMT UMY, BMT Artha Sejahtera and BMT Al-Mukhlish Yogyakarta employees. This research aims to find out what factors are most dominant in BMT employees and why these factors influence employees as well as the relationship between Herzberg's two-factor theory and BMT employee job satisfaction. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, The results of this study conclude that job satisfaction among BMT employees is measured using Herzberg's two-factor theory. It can be said that hygiene factors play a full role in BMT employees so that they avoid job dissatisfaction and can create feelings of satisfaction with their work. The conclusion of this research is that the job satisfaction felt by each BMT employee in this case shows that hygiene factors dominate, especially the relationship factor between co-workers

Abstract

The background of this research is that the Yogyakarta City Baznas is one of the best city-level Baznas, especially in terms of quality management. This is evidenced by the achievements made by Baznas in Yogyakarta. Indirectly, this proves that Baznas RI, including Baznas Yogyakarta, is professional and transparent, free from KKN practices and negative public perceptions when recruiting their employees. This study aims to determine how Baznas Yogyakarta City's recruitment process produces quality human resources to become input and reference for other Islamic Philanthropic Institutions. This research belonged to qualitative research, while the data collection was through interviews, observation, and documentation study. Besides, interviews were conducted with four informants: the Deputy Head of Field IV, Senior Executive Staff, Junior Executive Staff, and the Internal Audit Unit. The validity test of the data was done by using source and technique triangulation. The results of the study prove that the Yogyakarta City Baznas has carried out detailed recruitment methods in the recruitment process for prospective new employees. Baznas Kota Yogyakarta prioritizes internal methods through apprenticeship experiences and volunteering. Baznas Kota Yogyakarta, in selecting the right candidate, has special competencies for prospective employees. This is to create quality human resources and support the success of the institution. So it is proven that the achievements that have been produced are in accordance with the recruitment process to produce quality employees.
