Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of human resources, the barriers and strategies of college in developing human resource. This is a library research. The results of this study are a). Characteristics of human resources are: (1) kafa’ah, (2) himmatul-’amal, (3) amanah; b). The obstacles faced by college, both Islamic and public universities as producers of sharia-based human resources are the limitations of Islamic finance economists who comprehensively master financial economics and sharia sciences, the limitations of sharia based teaching curriculum, the lack of textbooks on sharia economics, no linkage with sharia financial institutions and limited funds so research on sharia economy is still very limited; (c). The strategies that can be done by universities are: looking for qualified human resources, having good intangible asset and quality system and organizational support. From these strategies, it is expected that college can contribute by providing qualified practitioners and academicians of sharia economic.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik Sumber Daya Insani (SDI), Hambatan perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan SDI, dan strategi perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan SDI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan library research. Hasil penelitian ini adalah a). Karakteristik dari SDI adalah Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang bercirikan tiga hal, yaitu: (1) kafa’ah, (2) himmatul-‘amal, (3) amanah; b). Hambatan yang dihadapi perguruan tinggi baik PTAI (perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam) maupun umum sebagai penyedia SDI berbasis ekonomi syariah adalah keterbatasan ahli ekonomi keuangan Islam yang menguasai secara komprehensif ekonomi keuangan dan ilmu syariah, keterbatasan segi kurikulum pengajaran yang berbasis syariah, kurangnya buku teks tentang ekonomi syariah, belum adanya linkage dengan lembaga keuangan syariah dan keterbatasan dana sehingga riset tentang ekonomi syariah masih sangat terbatas; (c). Strategi yang dapat ditempuh oleh perguruan tinggi antara lain: mencari bibit unggul, memiliki intangible asset yang baik dan memiliki kualitas sistem dan dukungan organisasi yang baik. Dari kedua strategi tersebut, diharapkan perguruan tinggi dapat memberikan kontribusi dengan melahirkan para praktisi dan akademisi ekonomi syariah yang berkualitas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh religiusitas dan tanggungjawab sosial terhadap etos kerja islami karyawan Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah . Penelitian dengan metode kuantitatif ini dilakukan Lazismu berjumlah 50 responden penelitian. Level analisis yang diguanakan yaitu individu dengan pengambilan data secara cross sectional dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tanggungjawab sosial dapat meningkatkan etos kerja islami karyawan di Lembaga Amil Zakat, sedangkan karakteristik religiusitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap etos kerja islami karyawan di Lembaga Amil Zakat nasional tersebut. Hal ini membuktikan bahwasannya Lembaga Amil Zakat yang merupakan lembaga sosial, memerlukan karyawan yang memiliki tanggungjawab sosial yang tinggi. Adapun tidak berpengaruhnya karakteristik religiusitas dikarenakan karakteristik tersebut bukan prediktor utama dan tidak berkorelasi secara langsung dengan etos kerja islami. Kontribusi teoritis dan praktis dapat dilihat dalam penelitian ini, yaitu peran tanggungjawab sosial dalam meningkatkan etos kerja islami karyawan Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of beauty influencers, lifestyle, brand image and halal labelling on purchasing decisions for halal cosmetics. In this study using a quantitative method with cross sectional analysis. The variable measurement scale is done using a likert scale. The sample in this study was a student of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University who used halal cosmetics and had read or watched videos about cosmetics from a Beauty Influencer. The number of samples collected and successfully analyzed as many as 226 of the 242 respondents taken by using purposive sampling technique. The object of analysis in this study is halal cosmetic products. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that the beauty influencer, lifestyle, brand image and labelling halal have a positive effect on purchasing decisions of halal cosmetics.

Abstract

Counterproductive work behavior has caused a lot of harm to the organization and employees, both directly and indirectly. This research aims to determine the effect of work-family conflict, work stress and turnover intention on counterproductive work behavior with tenure as a moderator variable. This research using a purposive sampling technique and took 100 employees of BCA Syariah Bank by distributing questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using SmartPLS 3.3. The results of this research are work family conflict, and work stress has a positive effect on counterproductive work behavior, while turnover intention has a negative effect on counterproductive work behavior. The employees who want to resign will maintain their attitude by acting permanently or more productively than usual. The excuse is that employees avoid the penalties and keeps a good track record. In addition, tenure moderates the effect of work-family conflict on counterproductive work behavior.

Abstract

Program ini bertujuan untuk mengasah potensi masyarakat desa Trimurti, Srandakan Bantul yang dilakukan melalui pemberdayaan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT). Membangun motivasi masyarakat agar dapat menuju kemandirian pangan dan ekonomi masyarakat yang mandiri. Luaran yang dihasilkan adalah terbentuknya Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) di dusun Pedak, produk berupa tanaman buah dan sayur yang siap dikonsumsi dan dijual ke pasar-pasar terdekat. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menghidupkan kembali program kemandirian desa yang dicanangkan kabupaten Bantul dan membantu masyarakat untuk mengisi kekosongan yang dapat menghasilkan penghasilan tambahan. Sebagai sasaran pengabdian ini adalah kelompok masyarakat dusun Pedak yang tergabung memiliki ketertarikan dalam tanaman pekarangan sempit. Pemilihan mitra ini dikarenakan potensi dari pekarangan rumah di dusun Pedak dapat ditanami tanaman buah dan sayur serta minat masyarakat khususnya IRT dalam budidaya tanaman. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan motivasi bagi IRT untuk mencoba kegiatan baru yang menarik dan dapat menghasilkan penghasilan tambahan melalui metode diskusi   dan   pelatihan   praktis   penanaman dan budidaya oleh instruktur yang ahli dalam bidang pertanian, serta menginisiasi terbentuknya Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT). Adapun langkah-langkah   yang ditempuh meliputi tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan melalui observasi, penyiapan materi pelatihan, mengagendakan waktu pelatihan, pemberian motivasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, monitoring dan laporan akhir.

Abstract

The studies revealed that organizational change could create employee’s psychological uncertainty. However, this study argues that the quality of leader-member exchange enables to control the impact of the psychological uncertainty during the change toward employee’s attitude. This study represents job satisfaction and turnover intention as proxy of employee’s attitude for that matter. Based on social exchange theory, quality relationship of leader and employees affects on the relationship of psychological uncertainty and employee’s job satisfaction and turnover intention. This study selected private hospitals experiencing the changes of operational system for complying with national health security system. This study conducted cross-section survey for individual level-analysis. This study produces some findings. Firstly, the LMX has been failed to reduce the negative influence of psychological uncertainty towards employee’s job satisfaction, although the quality of the LMX was good. employee’s job satisfaction is more perceived as  personal afective state experienced during the organizational change. Secondly, the LMX has been successfully moderated the positive influence of the psychological uncertainty towards employee’s turnover intention.The data were collected by using questioners, distributed to the employees who worked in hospitals in Yogyakarta Province. There were 193 questioners that could be collected and analyzed by using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to test the hypothesis by using SPSS application version 21. The result of the study shows that psychological uncertainty had negative correlation to employee’s job satisfaction and positive influence to psychological uncertainty toward turnover intention. Besides, LMX was proven to moderate positive influence of psychological uncertainty toward turnover intention, but it could not moderate negative influence of psychological uncertainty toward job satisfaction.

Abstract

Closeness and compatibility between leaders and subordinates significantly affect the comfort of work, which results in employee performance. Through satisfaction in working, it can create employee engagement, which can contribute to improving employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of leader-member exchange and personal supervisor fit on employee performance mediated by work engagement on Syariah Bank employees in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 132 employees using purposive sampling techniques whose data collection uses cross-sectional analysis with the level of analysis of individual samples. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the data. The results showed that the leader-member exchange and person supervisor fit had a positive effect on work engagement, and work engagement had a positive impact on employee performance. Also, this study demonstrates that work engagement is able to mediate the positive influence of leader-member exchange and person supervisor fit on employee performance. For this reason, it can be said that work engagement is an antecedent that shapes employee performance, which is preceded by leader-member exchange and person supervisor fit.

Abstract

The importance of organizational culture for employees to create a conducive work environment, so it needs to be considered by every manager in a company. In creating this environment, the role of a leader is needed to provide justice for every employee in the organization. This study aims to determine the effect of procedural justice, compensation distributive justice and interactional justice on organizational culture. This research was conducted at Islamic financial institutions in Yogyakarta. This research uses descriptive quantitative research using the Likert scale. The sample in this study amounted to 219 employees who work at Islamic financial institutions in Yogyakarta using saturated sample techniques. In this study, researchers used samples at Bank Muamalat, BPRS Madina, Takaful Keluarga Syariah Insurance, BMT Bina Ihsanul Fikri, BMT Tamzis and Sharia Pegadaian. Data analysis used in this research is IBM SPSS version 21 with data analysis method using multiple linear regression. The results showed that procedural justice, compensation distributive justice and interactional justice had a positive effect on organizational culture. For this reason, creating a good organizational culture requires justice for all employees.

Abstract

Pentingnya peningkatan kinerja karyawan selama pandemi Covid-19 tentunya memiliki dampak pada tercapainya tujuan perusahaan. Dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan diperlukan kontrol dari pemimpin untuk memberikan arahan kepada setiap karyawan dalam perusahaan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran telecommuting dalam memperngaruhi kinerja karyawan selama pandemi Covid-19 yang dimoderasi oleh kontrol pemimpin. Penelitian ini mengambil objek pada Lembaga Keuangan Syariah di Yogyakarta. Penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan melalui survey dengan skala likert. Untuk sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 159 orang pada Lembaga Keuangan Syariah di Yogyakarta dan purposive sampling untuk teknik samplingnya. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan sampel pada Bank Madina Syariah, BPRS Formes, Bank Muamalat, Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Yogyakarta, dan Bank BPD DIY Syariah. Peneliti menggunakan SEM PLS dari aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0 untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa telecommuting berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan selama pandemi Covid-19 dan kontrol pemimpin tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh telecommuting terhadap kinerja karyawan selam pandemi Covid-19
