Abstract

ABSTRACTEducation is very important for every group in various regions, especially for children aged 6-12 years. This is the case in Gunung Selamat village, Labuhan Batu district, as can be seen from the availability of 2 elementary schools in Gunung Selamat village, namely SD Negeri 30 Bilah Hulu and SD Negeri 23 Bilah Hulu. However, interest in studying at one of these elementary schools is quite lacking. So a quiz activity was held by KKN students from Labuhanbatu University, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). This activity was carried out with the aim of attracting students' interest in learning. Quiz is a learning technique used to increase student activity and learning outcomes through competitions. Participants in this activity were attended by two schools with a total of 6 teams, where one school consists of three teams and each team consists of students from grades 4, 5 and 6. This quiz competition consists of three rounds, namely the preliminary round, the semi-final round and the final (determining) round. In the determining round, team E won 1st place, team C won 2nd place, and team A won 3rd place, then in the semi-final round. In the semi-finals there are 1st runners-up, namely team D, 2nd runners-up, namely team B, and 3rd runners-up, namely team F. It is hoped that the results of this competition will attract students' interest and activeness in learning.Keywords: KKN, Intelligent, Interested in learning, elementary school studentsABSTRAKPendidikan sangat penting untuk setiap kalangan diberbagai daerah terutama untuk anak kisaran usia 6-12 tahun. Begitu hal nya dengan di desa Gunung Selamat, kabupaten labuhan batu, terlihat dari tersedianya 2 sekolah dasar yang ada di desa gunung selamat yaitu SD Negeri 30 Bilah hulu dan SD Negeri 23 Bilah Hulu. Namun minat dalam belajar  di salah satu sd tersebut cukuplah kurang. Sehingga diadakanlah sebuah kegiatan Cerdas Cermat oleh anak KKN Universitas Labuhanbatu Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan ( FKIP ). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk menarik minat belajar siswa. Cerdas cermat merupakan tehnik pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk dapat meningkatkan seaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa melalui perlombaan. Peserta kegiatan ini diikuti oleh dua sekolah dengan jumlah 6 regu, dimana satu sekolah terdiri dari tiga regu dan setiap regunanya terdiri dari siswa kelas 4,5,dan 6. Pada lomba cerdas cermat ini terdiri dari tiga babak yaitu babak penyisihan,babak semi final dan babak final ( penentuan ) dalam babak penentuan diperoleh juara 1 oleh regu E, juara 2 diperoleh oleh regu C, dan juara 3 diperoleh oleh regu A, Selanjutnya dibabak semi semi final terdapat juara harapan 1 yaitu regu D, juara harapan 2 yaitu regu B, dan juara harapan 3 yaitu regu F. Abstract

Hydroponics is one of the options of red chili peppers (Capsicum annuum L.) cultivation. Formulation of nutrientsolutions can be done by combining several chemical fertilizers to obtain a complete nutrient content at more cost-effective and readily accessible. The study used factorial randomized block design (RBD) in split splot. The master plots were four AB Mixformulations, F1: P (75 ppm) K (402 ppm) Ca (150 ppm) Mg (60 ppm) and S (90 ppm), F2: P (105 ppm) K (432 ppm) Ca (180ppm) Mg (90 ppm) and S (120 ppm), F3: P (135 ppm) K (462 ppm) Ca (210 ppm) Mg (120 ppm) and S (150), F4: P (165 ppm) K(492 ppm) Ca (240 ppm) Mg (150 ppm) and S (180 ppm). The subplots were 3 chili varieties; Kitavi variety (V1), Akar variety(V2) and CK F1 variety (V3). The results showed that AB Mix F4 formulation produced enhanced performance in plant height,stem diameter, crown width and fruit diameter. The use of CK curly red chili varieties exhibited better performance in theparameters of plant height, stem diameter, crown width and flowering age than the Kitavi dan Akar varieties. The AB Mix F4nutrient formulation and the use of CK curly red chili varieties are the best combination for plant growth in the variables of plantheight, stem diameter and crown width.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine how students' self-management affects their learning outcomes in mathematics. Time management, self-control, self-motivation, prioritization, and self-reflection are all components of self-management. This research methodology combines a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis. Thirty-four pupils from class VIII3 SMPN 1 Pangkatan made up the research sample. Students used the Cluster Random Sampling technique to determine this. A questionnaire with 30 items to gauge students' self-management and test scores to determine their learning. The outcomes were used to collect data for this study. The data for this study was processed using the SPSS 22.0 program, with paired sample t-tests. The test results show a significant difference between the two variables (t-value = -16.33, significance level = 0.000). With a significance level of 0.000 (less than 0.05). The null hypothesis (H₀) that there is no difference between the two variables is rejected as the significance value is less than 0.05. This implies that there is an impact or relationship between self-management skills and student learning outcomes.
