Abstract

Studies on reclaiming CO2 sand mould waste have the opportunity to increase productivity. This research was conducted to learn further about the potential of reclaimed CO2 sand moulds. The effect of the grain size of the reclaimed CO2 sand mould on the hardness and metal surface roughness was analyzed. In addition, a comparison of casting quality analysis was carried out between products using new sand and reclaimed CO2 sand moulds. The CO2 sand moulds were crushed and then sieved using 12, 25 and 40 mesh sieves. The sand waste grains were reclaimed through a detergent washing process. SEM-EDS characterization was carried out to determine the elements contained. The hardness of the casting product was tested using the Rockwell method with a load of 981 N. Meanwhile, the metal surface roughness was characterized through the Roughness Test and visual identification using the JIS 82 standard. Based on the results of the SEM-EDS characterization, the three variations of the reclaimed CO2 sand have the potential to be reused. The quality of the hardness and metal surface roughness of the reclaimed CO2 sand with 25 mesh size variation is close to the quality of the casting product using a new sand mould.

Abstract

Educational transformation is a change in the education system to adapt to changing times and future needs. The independent curriculum policy encourages educational transformation towards independent learning. The independent curriculum policy is followed by several programs that support the implementation of the independent curriculum, including the driving school program. The driving school is a program where schools become role model projects for implementing the independent curriculum. SD IT Bahrul Uluum is currently not a driving school. In implementing the independent curriculum, SD IT Bahrul Uluum is classified as a type of school that implements the independent independent learning curriculum. As a non-PSP school, the principal and teachers of SD IT Bahrul Uluum are lacking in implementing the independent curriculum both from the cognitive (literacy and numeracy) and non-cognitive (character) aspects, in order to realize the profile of Pancasila students. In addition, the principal and teachers have not optimally utilized digital information technology or school digitalization to encourage educational transformation. This community service program is carried out to improve the competence of principals and teachers in implementing the independent curriculum and to increase the capacity of teachers in utilizing school digitalization. This program has been done through intensive training and mentoring for principals and teachers of SDIT Bahrul Uluum. Through this activity, principals and teachers better understand the independent curriculum material so that it can later be implemented in schools and each class. By increasing teacher competence in implementing the independent curriculum, learning will be more meaningful and have an impact on students. Through this activity, principals and teachers can better utilize the Education platform so that they can support principals and teachers in implementing the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Ragum merupakan alat mekanis yang biasa digunakan untuk memegang atau mencekam benda kerja dengan memanfaatkan poros ulir untuk membuka dan menutup rahang cekam. Penggunaan ragum pada proses pemesinan, penggergajian, pengeboran, dan penggerindaan. Salah satu jenis ragumyang dibutuhkan pada masa kini ialah ragum dengan aksis banyak (multiple axis bench vise). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis desain ragum kerja bangku 3 aksis (2 aksis rotasi dan 1 aksis translasi) dengan metode elemen hinga. Desain ragum dibuat menggunakan Autodesk Inventor, dengan bukaan rahang 5 inchi, lebar rahang penjepit 5 inchi, dan kedalaman bukaan rahang 3.25 inchi. Material ragum ialah besi cor FC 25. Variasi desain ragum ialah pada ketebalan bagian rahang gerak yang bersinggungan dengan rahang tetap. Gaya cekam dihitung berdasarkan spesifikasi poros transportir. Simulasi elemen hingga menggunakan Simulia Abaqus. Hasil simulasi ialah tegangan Von Mises, yang akan dibandingkan dengan tegangan luluh besi cor FC 25 untuk menghasilkan nilai faktor keamanan. Faktor keamanan desain ragum multi aksis ketika beban statis diterapkan. Seluruh tegangan maksimum dari variasi desain bernilai diatas nilai tegangan luluh material ragum. Hasil tersebut berdampak pada nilai faktor keamanan, yaitu dibawah nilai 2. Berdasarkan nilai faktor keamanan yang dihasilkan, ragum tidak aman dari deformasi plastis. Sehingga perlu adanya pengkajian ulang desain atau material yang digunakan.
