Abstract

Forehand Groundstroke in a tennis game is a stroke that aims to defend or attack. To master the Forehand Groundstroke technique, the authors tried two training methods, namely the method of stroke to wall training and pair stroke training. The purpose of this study was: to find out the difference in influence between stroke to wall exercises and paired stroke exercises on Forehand Groundstroke skills in tennis. Referring to the purpose of the study and to prove the hypothesis, the author uses the experimental method. The population consisted of students from the field tennis UKM in UNSIL, Tasikmalaya City, which numbered 27 people. Samples were taken as many as 20 people using random (random) techniques. The research instrument used to obtain the data was Hewitt tennis achievement from Jack E. Hewitt. Based on hypothesis testing, t arithmetic is outside the interval t table, namely t arithmetic <t 0.995 (18) = -4,500 <2,878. So there was no significant difference from the results of the two groups' exercises, namely group A (stroke to wall exercises) and group B (paired stroke exercises). So that stroke-to-wall exercises and paired stroke exercises have the same effect on Forehand Groundstroke skills in tennis games for students in field tennis UKM UNSIL Tasikmalaya. Thus the null hypothesis is accepted, and the alternative hypothesis is rejected. But based on the results of the average increase it is known that group B has a greater increase than group A.

Abstract

Promosi kesehatan dan kegiatan pencegahan penyakit merupakan sebuah upaya penting di saat pandemi COVID-19. Kegiatan edukasi pelaksanaan aktivitas fisik di masa pandemic dan pemahaman tentang gizi seimbang merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guna menjaga imunitas atau kebugaran tubuh. Selain itu, dengan edukasi pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah untuk tanaman organik dapat membantu masyrakat dalam menyediakan bahan makanan yang baik untuk keperluan mereka. Kegiatan eduaksi ini mendukung Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) dimasa pandemi COVID-19 dalam rangka membiasakan pola hidup sehat di masyarakat. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini difokus pada 3 sub-kegiatan GERMAS, yaitu peningkatan aktivitas fisik dan pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah untuk tanaman organik serta kegiatan edukasi pemahaman gizi seimbang berupa booklet. Kegiatan edukasi dilakukan melalui mobilisasi masyarakat untuk ikut terlibat mulai dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi kegiatan sehingga program dapat terus berlanjut secara swadaya oleh masyarakat meskipun kegiatan pengabdian telah selesai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil pembelajaran aerobik melalui media audio visual pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Perumnas Cisalak Kota Tasikmalaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 orang murid kelas V SD Negeri Perumnas Cisalak Kota Tasikmalaya. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan pengamatan dan catatan pada saat dilapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan media audio visual pada pembelajaran senam irama bagi murid kelas V SD Negeri Perumnas Cisalak Kota Tasikmalaya mengalami peningkatan hasil pembelajarannya. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil pembelajaran senam irama siklus 1 terdapat 11 orang murid atau sekitar 35 % yang tuntas dengan nilai diatas KKM yaitu 76 dan 19 orang murid atau sekitar 65 % yang tidak tuntas dengan nilai yang masih dibawah nilai KKM yaitu 75 dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 68 dan yang masih kurang dari KKM 75 mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu terdapat 23 orang murid atau sekitar 85 % yang tuntas dengan nilai melebihi KKM yaitu 75 dan 7 orang murid atau sekitar 15 % yang tidak tuntas dengan nilai yang masih dibawah nilai KKM yaitu 75 dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 83 dan telah melebihi KKM yaitu 75. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar senam irama pada murid kelas V SD Negeri Perumnas Cisalak Kota Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara self-efficacy dan tingkat kecemasan pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani tingkat pertama. Self-efficacy, yang merupakan keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuan dirinya untuk menyelesaikan tugas atau menghadapi tantangan, diyakini memiliki peran penting dalam mengelola kecemasan, terutama pada mahasiswa yang sering kali menghadapi tekanan akademik dan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, melibatkan 100 mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) dan State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki tingkat self-efficacy yang sedang hingga tinggi, serta tingkat kecemasan yang berada pada kategori sedang. Uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dan kecemasan (r = -0,65, p < 0,05), yang berarti semakin tinggi self-efficacy mahasiswa, semakin rendah tingkat kecemasan yang mereka alami. Hasil analisis regresi linier menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy dapat memprediksi tingkat kecemasan (R² = 0,42). Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami dinamika psikologis mahasiswa tingkat pertama, khususnya dalam konteks Pendidikan Jasmani, dan menekankan pentingnya penguatan self-efficacy untuk mengurangi kecemasan akademik.

Abstract

Background: One of the sports that requires a good combination of technique, physical and mental abilities is tennis. One of the basic techniques that must be mastered is Forehand Groundstroke. Purpose: To see the effect of mental imagery on Basic Tennis Forehand Groundstroke Skills. Methods: This research uses a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental design and pretest-posttest control group design techniques. This technique compares an experimental group that uses mental imagery and a control group that does not use mental imagery. The implementation of the research started from a pretest which was carried out before the treatment was applied. Then 4 weeks of training were carried out with the experimental group using mental imagery and the control group only doing conventional forehand groundstroke training without additional mental imagery. The data obtained was analyzed using the t-test statistical test to see whether there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group before and after treatment. Analysis is carried out with the help of statistical software such as SPSS. Results: Basic Forehand Groundstroke Tennis Skills The group that received the mental imagery method was better than the control class. Conclusion: Based on the results of research that has carried out data processing and analysis, it can be concluded that Mental Imagery influences Mastery of Basic Forehand Groundstroke Skills in Field Tennis. This can be seen from the results of hit accuracy (towards a certain target); Hit strength (ball speed after being hit); The consistency of strokes (the number of strokes that managed to enter the opponent's playing area) was significantly different when compared to the group that did not use the mental imagery method. Implications and Recommendation: From the results of this research, mental imagery can be used as an alternative to train students taking tennis courses.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of tennis service skills among junior athletes at the Manonjaya Tennis Club in 2024. The background of this study is based on the importance of mastering service techniques as a basic skill in tennis that plays a major role in scoring points in a match. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a survey technique. The research population consisted of 20 athletes, with a sample of 12 junior athletes (8 boys and 4 girls) aged 10–14 years selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was the Hewitt tennis test, which consisted of 10 service skill trials assessed based on ball placement accuracy. Data analysis used descriptive percentage statistics. The results showed that the average service ability of the athletes was 40% with a median of 40.5, a mode of 41, a minimum value of 37, a maximum value of 43, and a standard deviation of 2.88. A total of 67% of athletes were in the high category (Grade B), while the other 33% were in the medium category (Grade C). The conclusion of this study is that the service ability of junior athletes at the Manonjaya Tennis Club is relatively good, although there are still athletes who need further training. This study recommends the need for more focused training in physical, technical, and mental aspects of competition so that the quality of athletes' serves can improve consistently.

Abstract

Hasil wawancara antara tim pengabdian bersama kedua mitra yaitu Puskesmas Kahuripan dan Puskesmas Tawang Kota Tasikmalaya, didapat permasalahan mitra yaitu adanya kecenderungan peningkatan stunting, wasting, dan gizi buruk di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kahuripan dan Puskesmas Tawang. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan sosialisasi dan edukasi pentingnya 1000 hari pertama kehidupan dalam meningkatkan status kesehatan dan gizi anak di wilayah kerja puskesmas kahuripan dan tawang kota tasikmalaya. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan sosialisasi dengan memberikan kajian teoretis dan praktis terkait Pentingnya 1000 hari pertama kehidupan. Sosialisasi dan pelatihan diawali dengan memberikan pretest dan diakhiri dengan posttest kepada peserta yang berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil  dari  kegiatan  pengabdian ini  yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasan peserta ditinjau dari hasil pretest dengan nilai rata-rata peserta sebesar 57,80 dan hasil posttest dengan nilai rata-rata 81,55.
